Tried chicory for the first time and it makes a lovely evening drink, almost like caramel? Or something else I can't put my finger on?
#i knew it would happen but i searched chicory on here and thought 'i bet it'll be a lot of characters from media' and it was 👍#did find a few images of chicory plants too a least#might make iced chicory when it gets hot instead of coffee later this summer#also my week sucked? Monday forced to work bank holiday. Tuesday dead and dying after 26 hours work in 3days. wednesday suddenly ill#and like sneezing everywhere and feverish so cancelled plans. Thursday had to cancel plans and still groggy and ill. Friday migraine BAD#today migraine until 3pm and now i feel like I've come out of a saw trap and I'm thankful to be alive and the sunlight is beautiful#and so is this chicory drink and the bees and being able to read
