I will self-insert with Arya actually lmao like you’ll have to pardon my audacity but I’ve found when you relate to a fictional character, sometimes it’s nice to imagine them getting good things, particularly in ways that vindicate them regarding ways you’ve suffered or been mistreated irl

And guess what, I don’t think that’s either irrational or offensive since, as I said, I relate to her for textually-sound reasons, and the text indicates that she’ll be getting a romantic arc, and playing a profoundly important role in the story to come, should it ever be finished properly

Enjoying that and making transformative works or meta based in that really isn’t as ludicrous or shallow as other character stans and self-proclaimed neutrals make it out to be. Like I can love the character and authentically explore her story and seek my own catharsis through her fiction simultaneously
