can i confess something else that will absolutely get me stoned in the town square since im dropping my unpopular opinions. I don’t like altean broadsword Lance. i already disliked red paladin Lance. the broadsword was like rubbing salt in the wound. why couldn’t he have his own niche. why was his character development just making him keith. i understand that it was like “he accepts that he doesn’t have to be a leader and excels as a co-leader and you can find happiness that way yada yada yada”. but you could’ve done that without making him keith. also now give him something unique, cool, that falls in line with his sniper bit. i’m not saying just give him another gun, im saying give him something quiet and lethal. like a garotte. yeah i want garotte lance.

i yap a lot more in my notes by the way if you were interested in other unpopular opinions. don’t send me hate messages or comments i won’t read it and will block viciously i also will not be debating this this is my hill to die on <3

The only reason your spouse is "acting up" is because this insane working shift you have lately that keeps you two appart. You two just need to bone. Mahan: (scared noise) Makkaro: ...what did you say? Mahan: (whispers at Frank) don't say it again. Frank: I said you two need to bone. Mahan: (prepares himself with fear) Makkaro: how... dare you, Frank. I. Am. Your. SUPERIROR COMMANDER!! (5 minutes later) Makkaro: (outraged) BONE! (10 minutes later) Makkaro: what happens in my bedroom is NONE of your business! (21 minutes later) Makkaro: (demonic voice with rage) BOOOOOOOOOONE?!?! (40 minutes later) Makkaro: (still demonic voice, but lower, menacing) don't EVER speak to me like that again. Mahan: (slides back down from the column he climbed to in fear with some tears of terror in his eyes) why did you do that? Frank: dude is pent up. Now he knows. Problem solved.

Portrait of a Beloved Tormentor

So y'all know that one "i think everyone should redraw this as their ship" image? (I tried looking up where it was from but couldn't really find it). Well with my recent Fallen London obsession, I figured it would be as perfect as anything else to draw my character Emery being looked upon by Poor Edward.

Perhaps at some point during Light Fingers Emery gets a portrait commissioned of themselves. Not sure about the timing yet because I've been grinding for romantic notions in Veilgarden before I start making a name for myself there.

While drawing this I joked with a friend that Edward finds this portrait in like a gallery, approaches the artist/owner and attempts to buy it off them. They refuse, partially because Emery is supposed to come by and pick it up later, but they certainly don't tell him that because also they watched this man stare at the painting while stroking it lovingly for 10 minutes straight. It was pretty clear that he had other motives for wanting this painting beyond just appreciating the art.

Edward then proceeds to threaten them until they hand it over. No I don't know how he lugged that thing around. Best bet is he probably had the Claymen with him to help.

The only thing keeping me sane rn is birdwatching on the balcony of this hotel. There are so many species of bird here its incredible and I'm greatly enjoying the bird drama unfold.
