I wanted to ask now that paintings are over, is there a painting (or more than one) you are specially sad to see go already? or just art you are suprised to see go so early? (also obivious thanks for hosting this great tournament!)

Thank you for the question!! I love Wawrzeniecki's paintings, so I am very sad to see Water nymph (poll 69) and Old truth (poll 97) go out so early :( Another one I really love which lost its first matchup is Pągowska's Walk with Smuga (poll 24) which combines my two big loves: a painting that will make you cry and a painting that is 90% white paint. There is a couple more paintings I was surprised didn't fare better, but these three were probably the most special to me.

There is also the Battle of Grunwald parody by Wyspiański (poll 113) that I expected to lose (bc it's opponent was a rlly good one) but still deserves to be highlighted because it's so cheeky! and skillfully done! and it's making fun of matejko 💖
