Benji fell out again with Deschamps, you can see from both body languages but especially from Benji that the news before the tournament was right, he doesn’t not interact at all with the coach usually they are very close. I’m very sad about this especially for the second big tournament after he worked so hard I cannot find a reason why he is not playing except for the falling out. but it is foolish because Kounde is not playing better and did not have a better season, I hope for next game that counts we will see Benji and not just for Poland where the result is useless. To be honest I'm sorry to the french who likes him but deschamps seems to me as someone a bit arrogant and the type of arrogance that comes from not being exactly the most creative person and the best tactician in the room. football has developed and he's there trying his non-game where the whole defense stays stiff as it can be and there's not any build up from behind, this is ball to dembele/mbappé & inchallah. this is painful to watch ngl lol He never makes changes, like he used 2 subs in the game how? 😭 as if they were playing any good 😭 He seems like someone very set on his convictions and if he thinks Benji doesn't fit tactically in his game nobody will change that. He's way more technically gifted no offence, but I guess kounde does the job for france idk ahah. Inter plays a much more different football to be fair and I really don't like anything of how France play (or doesn't play) but really deschamps bringing 25 players but then using 13 at max is so funny to me, it's like he's incapable to give chances to others. the fact one of the best players in my club only see the bench is unreal to me 😭 I hope it's nothing personal, he seems in somehow a good spirit in interviews etc.
