This might be a stupid question so I’m so sorry 😭
I’ve interacted with you a bit in the comments of my fic, and it’s made me want to actually create a dedicated CoD account instead of just lurking often— would you recommend Twitter or tumblr more? I don’t really know anyone else in the fandom (since most of what I look up is kruegernikto stuff… small group dndnshsb) so that’s why I’m asking here </3
Hi! Well, from my experience it's definitely worth it, as having a dedicated space to hoard stuff you like and/or that you make is very freeing. It's easier to interact with people that way, I find.
As for the platform, depends what you're looking for. Twitter is easier to quickly interact with people, but tumblr is closer to a community nowadays, especially since you can now reply to posts/comment. I've been active on twitter for 13 years next week (!) and although I use OldTweetdeck that allows me to have a nice experience esp. managing multiple accounts AND I have a very detached use of it by now, I can attest that the "quality" of interactions you get with people has decreased. You can still create an account though, and see how it goes!
#also like. in 2020 there was basically no mw19 fandom. I was only talking to like 1 friend (my current beta reader!)#then I started playing n chatting w @modernghostfare in early 2022 + made this account and it boosted my creative fuel immensely#but I still am not in any community per se. I interact w ppl individually tho now and it's enriching! and tumblr allowed that.#ask
