This has basically become a "DEAR GODS PLEASE VOTE AND VOTE BLUE" blog, but I feel justified in this because libraries and librarianship depend on not living under fascism. This applies to libraries everywhere, not just the USA.

#also like. im a queer autistic multiply disabled fat woman with a uterus and ovaries and an iud and many many queer friends #and friends of color and queer family members and disabled family members and many other people who will be massively negatively affected #if we experience another cheeto presidency #many librarians will not only be professionally devastated but personally devastated if things go south this year election wise #there are entire communities of 'lesbrarians' and 'bibrarians' for a reason and it isn't just because we love puns #voting is an issue inherently relevant to libraries as government entities #because while we must be nonpartisan we cannot be neutral #we are an inherently political space
