adult taissa is throwing finger guns at van, joking around with her, reminiscing about their pranks, trying so so so hard to go back to a simpler time with this person who used to be that for her. who used to be goofy and silly and light so that tai could be as well. and it’s so sad because we get a glimpse of what they were probably like after the rescue when they were still together, scandalizing jackie’s mom at shauna’s wedding, but we also see where the cracks must’ve started. van can’t afford to be that all the time. and neither can tai, and the desperation in her voice as she tries to pretend is just very ouch
