but in seriousness uuahh okay, bear with me since I never really articulate my thoughts like this.

I truly loved it as a whole, but I really do have a soft spot for North's arc because there's something about how he was made for a cruel purpose that he had no choice in. So when he finally gets to choose what he wants to do, and its music, something that touches peoples hearts, it really struck me. I will say I also really loved the relationship he had with Paul too. He is such a bitter man but the way North No. 2's gentle doggedness coaxes him to confront the grief in his heart and grows to trust him and even love the humanity that he discovers is part of North No. 2 really warms my heart (before it got broken ha..hahaaa)

But like I said, I really did love it as a whole. It just really encapsulated feelings of 'what makes us human?' in stories that I really enjoy. I love nuanced emotions of hate and grief and cruelty but making the choice to be kind despite it. And even if succumbed to it, does that really make someone any less capable of kindness? I think this could be dug into endlessly, and having each of the main cast of robots really come to terms with their human traits, the good and the bad, at the end of their life destroys me (/pos). I'm sure someone much smarter than me has made an analysis about all of this but this is just me barely scratching the surface of why I loved it, anyywyays...

Nothing comes from hatred!! It may never go away but we persevere despite it!!! And now I can't wait to read it and live it all over again
