watched “Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night” and wowie. ds9 you really shouldn’t have

#i do not think that subject matter was handled well#why were they acting like she made a choice#what fucking choice. she didn't have a choice#if it was just 'kira doesn't understand' i'd accept that as a character flaw#but it feels like the writer didn't really get that she wasn't 'making a choice' either#ds9#i need a text post tag#also kira failing the 'if you go back in time you always kill hitler' test#like she had to. for the entire show to not become non canon#but i was still like lol why are you saving him#(also i know dukat isn't a 1-1 parallel to any real person but like. he feels like an equivalent 'you kill them if you go back the time')
