Maybe… maybe fandom needs more romance adjacent content. Like… I’m tired of couples. I want unrequited crush but it’s just normal and not throwing up flowers. I want exes to besties or even worsties. I want “we kissed once and decided never to do that again and moved on with it”. I want break ups and unrequited love that isn’t treated like failure. I need more of this.
#i was talking about Zelda ships with my friends today#and I think my favourite botw link ship is revalink but I think I might prefer unrequited crush from revali more#and it’s all silly about it#my other fav zelda hc is that windwaker link and tetra are both bisexual pirates#and due to them being experimental kids stuck on a boat together for long periods of time leaving them with a rather small dating pool#it makes sense they dated eachother at some point#but it lasts less than a month and it wasn’t really anything serious anyways bc they’re kids#but they end up being besties who help set eachother up with other people in the future#that’s my vision#also kai and jay Ninjago read as exes to besties also to me
