i wrote this in 20 minutes. help. seele (from hsr) brainrot is present 24/7 it’s not even a joke anymore. i love her so much.

“You’re coming with me.” 

It’s a cold voice. That’s all you know. It’s the voice of someone who has no mercy, no kindness, and no paitence left. A voice of someone who’s only been exposed the dark side of the world. 

That sounds about right. That kind of person.

And it didn’t take you many guesses to figure out who it was. You could tell, even if your back was facing her. You’d know her presence from anywhere, and everywhere. The girl you had tried to avoid for so many years out of your own petty dislike for her. It wasn’t any kind of dislike either. For her, you had always felt a gruelling disdain towards her. A kind of contempt you couldn’t even explain yourself. Perhaps it was the way she thought, or how simple-minded and innocent she could be, despite the tainting conditions she was put inside. 

Seele. You had always hated her. 

It wasn’t like you were anything above her either. You were about the same age as her, you lived in similar conditions; albeit slightly better. But it still didn’t change how you used to quietly observe her, and scoff at her attempts to survive, while starving yourself. It was irony in its sheerest. No other words could describe it. Yet, Seele would just snatch whatever she wanted where she wanted. She’d never think twice. And when she couldn’t get whatever she wanted, she’d draw as much blood as she needed, to do so.  

And as the years passed, you managed to escape the underworld through less than peaceful ways, and started your life over again. Free from suffering, free from crime, and generally as a freer person. You had eventually educated yourself and became a respected person. 

So... when you looked back at Seele, you saw the same girl she always was. A child at heart. A child that never believed in the light of day. A child that had fought day in, and day out just to live. A child that stayed innocent despite being in a terrible place. A child that gave up on miracles and hope before most could even dream.

Yet you, yourself. You weren’t that child who would watch Seele from a distance. A child that would consider themselves above others, anymore. You had been through your own share of hell. You grew up, you changed. You were a different person ever since you left the underworld. 

All because you had never gaven up hope. You trusted miracles would happen, and you’ve always believed so.

But that all ends today. 

You knew Seele was painfully observant as well. She’s likely a lot smarter than you are. Even still being the simple-minded child at heart she is, she’s still much stronger than you will ever be. And right now... you don’t know what she wants from you.

Seele’s never changed. She’ll always take things that she wants, she’ll always take things that she needs. She doesn’t care how much of a fight she needs to put up to get what she wants. Even if the aftermath of doing so portrays her guilty. She’ll learn, but she’ll never change.

And it seems like you’re her next target.
