Trying to rank the performances in the breaking bad universe would break my brain in a million pieces cause like. I have been going through the clips of both shows (bb and bcs) and the thing is - not one performance is better than the other. All these characters are so different and unique with such distinct personalities, and demand such different things from the actors performing them and then they all play that to fucking perfection.

All of these characters have layers and layers and layers of motivation in them and even if the motivation of two or more characters is the same their philosophies and actions for them are different. And each actor has to interpret and bring those layers to life and no actor is doing the same thing as or copying any other actor on the show. Each character and performance is different and has little to nothing in common. Like seriously, who should I put on number one? Bryan or Rhea? Putting anyone below that rank would feel disrespectful to the actor and to the character cause i mean damn they are all so PERFECT. Could Jesse have been played better? Cause Walter have been played better? What about Kim and Jimmy and Mike? Is there any way their portrayals could be improved?

Like sure I have preferences when it comes to the CHARACTERS but when it comes to the actors? How am I supposed to choose which actor did a more flawless job when all of them did the absolute best for the character they had to play? Bryan Cranston is not better than Bob and Bob is not better than Bryan and Aaron is not better than Rhea and Rhea is not better than Aaron and Jonathan and Michael and McKean and thank you my brain hurts

(also people who hate Skylar can fuck right off cause Anna Gunn is an actual goddess)
