just wrote a 30+ page mumscarian mermaid au with scar as the mermaid and the whole premise is hes pretending not to know english bc initially it was funny and then he realizes oh shit these people really like me and i like them too and he gets too far into the bit to go back and the whole moral of the story is “dont get too invested into the bit lest you ruin your chances with the hoes”
