thinking of the good old 2014-2016 female manga protagonists. all of them iconic...... rukia and orihime and karin and rangiku and yoruichi and hiyori from bleach, shirayuki from akagami no shirayukihime, hiyori from noragami, lucy and juvia and levy and erza from fairy tail, naho from orange, kaori from shigatsu wa kimi no uso, yona from akatsuki no yona, mirai from kyoukai no kanata. queens all

#half of them are off their rockers but queens all nonetheless #like. you wouldn't want to be in the same room as kaori yona AND the fairy tail/bleach girls in one go. but they're lovely and i love them #songbird again #looking at my old myanimelist account and being absolutely staggered that some of these mangas are STILL ONGOING #like bro how ???? what ????? why ?????????#(mangakas DO need food on the table i recognise this. but also some of these mangas have been running since 2013 or before that #also it could wander into bleach territory where the story just gets worse and worse because the mangaka keeps stretching #the darn thing past its expiration date. that one went on for 15 years and the guy didn't have a plan. but i digress)
