u talked about jealousy being an important point in the sequel, and i already know i am going to suffer!!! my question is is it safe to assume that it is all in sirius’ imagination or does remus actually flirt with this person?

this remus would never consciously do anything to hurt sirius or make him feel insecure. he’s most definitely not actively flirting with anyone but he’s also not quite paying enough attention to how a lack of boundaries with a certain new friend can come across to sirius, & sirius doesn’t communicate it’s making him feel weird until it’s too late & they’re already in a pit of distance/distrust/resentment

they’re both veeeeeeery touchy about it for different reasons, and there’s a lot of passive aggressive comments being thrown around & they’re doing quite a bit of arguing over trivial things but not talking about the real problem. but they end up learning a lot ab each other & themselves during that time period and obviously everything turns out fine & they’re stupidly in love forever & ever & ever 🧚✨
