my dad asked me what I wanted for my bday a while back, and me, not even remotely aware of their prices at all, told him I wanted one of the satoshi kon movies on dvd, didn't matter which one (except for paprika, which I already own)

he spent. 75 BUCKS. on the dutch edition of millennium actress (new and STILL IN PLASTIC) on dvd.

he accidentally got me a polish version of perfect blue. (he's returning that one because it was too expensive to justify keeping)

and tokyo godfathers only cost him like. 17 bucks. (it was the english version)
