idk if many ppl are talking about this (im sure they are) but it’s kinda scary how american megachurches essentially start to behave like a franchise corporation

#like ok what i mean is in the past you’d have denominations with some sort of centralized structure #and you’d find churches of that denomination in various towns #but lately these ‘non denominational’ churches spring up with some sort of snappy name #like ‘elevation’ or ‘hillsong united’#and i stg it starts to become its own denomination but in a much more corporate way #also if you’ve ever been inside a huge mega church building that is also terrifying #the kat diaries
