cant believe i started the golf docuseries on netflix as a background type show and am now invested because it's got such interesting topics (either overtly or not) about the different types of jock personalities, class differences, the cultural differences / expectations esp with individual success vs family for a pacific islander on tour (!!!!), ethics in sports funding, these guys risking forever being banned in the pga for literal generational wealth. like wtf i feel scammed!!! but yeah shocking, sports are interesting bc of the human elements. god.
