heres ur headcanons hijirihara! i I hope u like them, and if u want anything changed just let me know! also, i have to warn u that im not trans so if that bugs u then pls feel free to ask for these to be redone - mod kiibo - if hijirihara were to choose a favorite type of game, he would have to say that his favorites were games that had plots which centered around the deaths of major characters, since he found them engaging and often thought character deaths could get pretty creative. fujigawa, on the other hand, preferred playing dating sims and peaceful games - one of the main reasons hijirihara bonded with all of his friends was because of a certain game that they all admired, due to all of the different genres it fit under. asano and mekuru liked how cute the art was, juzo and hijirihara enjoyed the action parts of the game, and fujigawa really liked the mechanics and hidden routes. they would all gather around and play together - during their spin the bottle and 30 minutes in heaven mixture of a game, hijirihara and fujigawa actually ended up getting paired together, and this is what led them to start dating. whenever people ask them what happened in there, they just give wild stories and pretend that they dont see the obvious flaws in their story telling - whenever hijirihara and fujigawa have any sort of disagreement, they tend to settle it by playing against each other in multiplayer games, and since they get competitive during those times its just become a thing they do. now theyre just always competitive when it comes to one another - when hijirihara convinced juzo to go in the closet to congratulate them on being a closet gay, he only did it to get a rise out of them and enjoy a good laugh. he did not expect juzo to actually ask how he found out and walk out of the closet when they admitted they were non-binary and pretty gay. hijirihara has mixed feelings about the event - even though hijirihara didnt get to play games with asano or mekuru as often as he played them with fujigawa, he still found them to be really fun to play games with. even though they were fun to play against, though, he couldnt help but feel just a tad bit embarrassed when mekuru would beat them both without even trying - even though hijirihara and fujigawa were dating, they rarely ever actually went out to go on dates. instead, their favorite kind of date was sitting at home screaming at each other as they played games, acting as if their lives were on the line and death would result out of their loss. not even their friends really knew why they enjoyed this so much - when it comes to pda, fujigawa is the main one who gives hijirihara lots of affection. he likes to lean on hijiriharas shoulder whenever theyre at home together, and when they go out in public fujigawa loves grabbing hijiriharas hands and holding onto him. hijirihara does enjoy giving fujigawa small pats on the head, though - one year hijirihara actually tries to have his birthday party in a game stop. they kick him out, of course, but it doesnt really stop him from imagining how a party in there would be. asano has to tell him that he would just be surrounded by a bunch of games and people giving him weird looks all day, and hijirihara tells her that its his ideal type of party - hijirihara isnt the most expressive of people, but hell try to make sure the people he cares about know how important they are in his life. even if he just does small things for them, he wants them to know that he enjoys being around them and having them all in his life
