I've been watching doctor who since I was like 5 so I decided to characterize exactly what every era means to me:
9th/10th: faded memories, stories told before bed before you can truly understand them.
11th era: coming of age, childhood wonder. love and safety and fairytales
12th: my deep thought/creative mind. yearning, not sweet but disgusting, painful yearning. grief and death and a love undoing
13th: new beginnings and beautiful change. a feeling of finally.
#wish i had more to say about 13 but unfortunately the biggest impact she had on me is still just that first episode#that being said spydoc is one of my favourite dw ships lol but still#anyway#doctor who means a lot to me#each era is timeless to me in a way#like i get so transported into it i feel like im there again#u can imagine the shock i had when i realized how old matt smith is now right after i finished rewatching his era#man.#also idk if its obvious which is my favourite akdndnbd#(its 12)#doctor who#mal talks
