Just rewatched Temporal Edict and gods, Mariner telling Ransom that he reminds her what Starfleet is all about is actually sooo cute when you think about her background and how much she's struggled with her role in Starfleet. Like is there anything sweeter than someone who, just by being themselves, reminds you to uphold your own ideals?
