As the two of you entered the last isle, daichi thought of a great idea to quickly end this trip

He ran to the end and grabbed a sketchbook, ditching the trolley, and running back to you

You quickly examined the paper and frowned

“Daichi, you seriously know nothing about art, this paper is so thin, how is it meant to hold anything? But don’t worry, I’ll teach you plenty about art when we get home~”

You were busy drawing all day and had basically been in your room all day, not even going out to have meals and just getting everything delivered to you by ur boyfie which u were rlly grateful for

Lunch was coming around and you were still sketching out designs or smthing

First u convinced him to take a photo w/ you which was easy cause he’s rlly eager to spend time with u

And then, over the month leading to his birthday, you painted the photo and it was kinda hard to keep away from him

He always came over to ur house after school and the artwork needs to dry but it would be spotted by him

You messed up a few times and there were a few minor smudge marks

Noya became very sus of you since you were rejecting more dates and stuff than usual

You felt rlly bad to see him upset, but u told urself it was for a good purpose

So finally on his b day, you hand him the painting which has sweet words written around the frame

He bursts into tears from joy and hugs you tightly, trying to spin u around like in the romance movies he’s being watching with Tanaka

That failed tho, so both of u fell to the ground

Honestly u weren’t expecting him to be so pouty

“Is that why you haven’t been letting me come to ur house as much?”

“Yeah, sorry bby, I just wanted to keep it a surprise.”

He grinned and held the painting close to him inn appreciation

Tanaka heard that you were going to have a merch store

He wanted to help with the design of the items to appear ‘cool’  as if he wasn’t already cool enough

So he came up with this design of a bald egg with lipstick and a cowboy hat

Honestly, if he wasn’t ur boyfriend, when he handed you his design, you would’ve immediately chucked it out

It was uhm pretty bad, sorry Tanaka

But none the less, you took it to appreciate his efforts and t would be just plain mean if u threw away his efforts like that

So the next week you sold T-shirts with that design

Surprisingly, that design was sold the most out of everything!

So in the future, you forced Tanaka to design more stuff for your merch store

At first he was so pleased

But after a week or so, he realised how hard this job was and how time consuming

So he quit, which you were a bit disappointed about but respected his decisions anyways :D

looking back at it now, i definitely went out a lot more compared to previous years LOL i had some struggles in january, and at multiple points in my life i blamed myself for being ungrateful, for seeking more when i already had so much in life compared to other people. my friends were there for me and i wouldnt have been able to live through it without them. then again, during reading break in february, i got myself into the same hot mess and i was sad about it for a week and i blamed myself for getting so attached so quickly. because of these experiences, my expectations were v low and i didnt really expect anything when i talked to jyang, what they say really is true, you get it the moment you stop seeking for it. it comes and find you (: the 3 most important that happened this year is burbur, co op job & me getting more comfortable around doggs; this is a big deal !! i actually like cuddling dogs and i feel less scared of them as long as i have some time to get used to them!! im proud of myself for making progress with my phobia! after i started my co op job, bc i didnt have a lot to do, i felt like i wasnt actively contributing to my workplace and that i was very useless. i still feel the same way now, but i think i am slowly getting used to it. thankfully, my coworkers are VERY nice and i enjoy working around them. while i did not get a different position for january, im still grateful that i got an extended placement. nonetheless, meeting with the different PIs and sumeet pointed me in the right direction of looking for nserc / volunteering opportunities when i do go back to school. AND ofc burbur! im grateful that we were able to be there for each other for the past 8 months, both the ups and downs and i am so so thankful that we’re understanding and patient with each other, as we help each other learn along the way and help each other become a better version of ourselves. this companionship is better than i have asked for and i always remind myself to focus on the important things rather than the minor inconveniences. this year, in terms of fitness goals, ive been doing really well before asia. but ever since i came back, it all went downhill and i gained back all the weight that i lost this year year LOL so in 2020, one of my biggest goal is to eat healthy again, and workout more consistently. getting a job in sept kinda interfered with my progress too, bc i was so tired after work, even when i wasnt doing anything and i stressed eat bc i felt terrible. a lot of diff factors made me feel super stressed, and the fact that i wasnt eating clean / exercising reguarly made me feel worse about the whole situation ): so in 2020, maintaining a healthy lifestyle will be one of my top priorities and gifting myself a healthy body is one of greatest things i can do for myself. this also contributed to the lack of journalling near the end of the year, it felt like bc i wasnt doing the things i was “supposed to do”, i just felt so bad whenever i couldnt tick off that particular habit whenever i fill in my trackers. but tonight, i watched this video and it talked about habits should be for awareness, not for self-hate or self-loathing. this is something that i need to keep in mind. ever since april really, the issue of leaving my house and meeting up with my friends have always stressed me in fear of dealing with passive aggressiveness with my mom lool everytime i get inviited to plans, i just get anxiety about having to tell her about it LOL and even when im out, having a msg/ call for her freaks me out in fear that she will get mad at me for being home late and etc and fifi really woke me up with her words, i should just care less LOL i need to stop caring so much about what she thinks, bc at the end of the day, this IS my life and if i never make any changes, i will never be able to grow and be independent. i think this pree much sums up all my events and emotions in 2019, the last year of the 2010s. in the next decade, a lot of things will happen as i will be in my 20s - 30s, where new opportunities will arise, and graduate uni, do my masters, find a job, maybe even marry and move out LOL the 2020s will definitely be an impt decade, but just for next year i want to:

1. understand that i am old enough to make choices, and in general, care less about what she thinks

2. at the same time, i want to appreciate and be grateful for what my mom, dad and annie have done for me; a lot of the times, i feel like i take them for granted just bc i know they will always be there for me and this is not how you should treat your biggest supporters

3. trust that everything will workout in the end, while you may not be able to envision what you career / life would be like when youre 30, you can definitely take small steps and move towards your goal

4. be mindful of what i eat and exercise regularly (4x hiit & cardio a week) ; treats & sweets in moderation; use those habit trackers for awareness, not for self-loathing / self-hate

5. create art regularly, read more and at least do 5 duolingos every week! 

every year, time just seems to go by faster and faster and i feel scared at times. as i type this, theres only 8 minutes left of this decade LOL so in 2020, continue to live in the moment, be present, cherish those that are around you, and have faith that everything will come together, one piece at a time. at the same time, always rmb that you can make small changes to be a better version of yourself, whenever & however you want and this is the 1 thing that other people can’t stop you from doing!

In 2017, Jess was introduced to our quiet, oversized, and mainstream lives... Little did we know, that everything was about to change. The winds swirled overhead as she landed and within a couple weeks our loud, mini, hippie-witch-grandma-babe became ingrained in our lives! 

Coming in hot with a list of must-see, -try, -listen, -taste, -climb items for SF, Jess managed to keep us busy trying new things and living our best fun-sized life.

In honor of one chapter coming to a close (and another very exciting one just beginning!!), we want to take a look back at some of the beautiful moments you’ve helped us create! Thank you for being a part of our lives in San Francisco, and we are so excited and proud of you for making big moves across the seas in New Zealand! Let’s take a walk down memory lane back to 2017...

Enter 2017… when some of us all met Jess Tilles for first time. Something we may be too old to do but in our early 20s we were able to stick through 9 hours of drinking. Santa Con was the day into the night we were all obliterated… but Santas and mistletoe and FUN! We all look very youthful, oh what a few years in SF has done to our age. It was also one of the first and last times we all decided to go out in the Marina, and then proceed to eat Italian Homemade food. The beginning of an era!

Meanwhile at work... Jess quickly becomes a driving force of work parties with Holmes (and Eva and Jess discover they are both proponents of Bell sleeves). Of course Jess=where the party @ after having met most of the team at a highly questionable night tearing up the Castro prior Olga’s birthday.

Celebrating big moves to the bay, Jess, Shiri, and Leeza united in the gorgeous SF winter on Hattie St Balcony (a local’s hidden gem). It was then that Leeza and Jess instantly realized they were meant to meet and pursue all the best indie-folk-hippie music together. The rest of the concert saga is history!

August 2018

For many of us, it was our very first overnight backpacking trip that hot summer weekend in July. Leeza had on the heaviest pack and powered ahead of the group (per usual), while the rest of us fumbled behind. We all kept enthusiasm high and it was a glorious moment when we 1) dipped into the freezing cold water at the end of day one and 2) when we finally took our packs, shoes and socks off at the end of the hike, and we all agreed that we would not do that trail again if someone paid us a million fat ones. Such a memorable trip- it was a great shared bonding experience for us to be out exploring in nature, and struggling together but ultimately powering through. Caroline was peeing every 20 minutes of the hike as usual, Leron was making interesting jokes and Shiri and Jess kept our spirits high!

Jess has her first grown woman trip to LA with Eva. They stay in Sunset Junction (Micheltorena stairs pictured) and have a romantic werk wife stay at the legendary Casa Crawford Airbnb, where their room doesn’t lock and they share a bathroom with the elderly spooky owner. Highlights include swan boating on Echo Park Lake, yoga at Equinox, eating at Mh Zh and Sqirl, unwinding at Wi Spa, crashing a mansion party in the Hollywood hills, and celebrating Lauren’s 30th birthday. Jess also very much enjoys catching up with a friend in Venice Beach.

In spring 2018, Jess made moves in the city to make friends and become ~sporty~ with Shiri in the Play Recess league. Striking the perfect balance between minimal coordination and slap-cup, we learned to destroy the competition in what really counts! Culminating in an ultimate scavenger hunt debacle, Spinelli led the group to victory! (Not actually sure if we completed the scavenger, but the memories we do have were definitely winners :) ).

In the spooky month of October 2019, the Fulton Fam got together to throw our first rager - an extravagant Addams family party. Thanks to the creative inspiration of the group, we were able to pull off some spooky vibes, including spider webs, grey hair, ridiculous mustaches, and more. 

Late 2018 marked the beginning of the Fulton house era- too many nights sitting around watching Fort Night, debating Zinc in double-blind tests, and hundreds more conversations that none of us can remember… We will never forget the eclectic energy Jess brought into the Fulton house. The large batches of pasta & pesto she cooked and the lotions & soaps she brewed up. Brew hahah. As the first alumnus of the Fulton house, Jess has since ventured out to #adult in her 2 bedroom apartment in Nob Hill.

Before Jess left us, we had one last BirthRight hoorah with Jacob’s new friends. There was a peculiar guy making brisket in our oven, and handing samples around like a Costco on a Saturday afternoon. Shiri infamously used her photoshop skills to crop the beloved Leron Gil into the house party he missed. Good times!

December 2018

How could we forget the numerous ski trips in 2019 with Jess? There were so many weekends bopping around down the slopes in Heavenly, Kirkwood and North Star. On this specific photographed trip, Jess and Caroline celebrated their birthdays with a weekend getaway to Northstar. Too much Secret Hitler was played. Things got wild. Other board games were forced upon us (lol). But looking back it was a great time hanging with friends, drinking champagne on the mountain and blasting some groovy tunes down the mountain.

Over the holidays, Chinese food is a tradition… a very delicious meal at Koi Palace! While living in Fulton, there was a 2 month hiatus where just Jess, Caroline and Jacob occupied the house. Some like to call that period of time “the cleanest time of Fulton”, others call bullshit. The three bonded over diverging political opinions, bitching about who never cleaned their dishes and doing korean face masks.

Ringing in the New 2019 Year in San Francisco with a large group of our friends was quite the experience! Great to celebrate together together at the boom boom room with some live music (but also not great that the window got smashed 😂)

One of the best Holmes site visits ever!!

Jess and Eva drive up North for a wine country getaway they won a while back at a silent auction. En route they plow through La Croix cans, have a rad lunch in Sebastopol and dip their feet in the picturesque Russian River. Early evening, they taste and tour facilities at Moshin Vineyards in Forestville (shout outs to that delightfully dry pinot noir rosé) before stargazing (ft. skunk!) and cozying up in a cabin suite with the movie Sideways. The next day, they have a beautiful morning walk by the vineyards. By way of Jess’ parents, they land in Ronald McDonald’s home for a private tasting. Jess learns she loves fruit-forward wines!

September 2019

The second infamous backpacking trip! **GIRLS TRIP**!!!! The time we thought it’d be smart to not get camping food and cook kraft mac and cheese with no microwave. What it came out to be was a big bowl of cheese goop, with Ella, Anna, Olaf and unicorn characters drowned in there. A big SHOUTOUT to Marie for pulling through with the fancy face creams and sharing with the group, us talking about waxing *ahem* body parts and again, Leeza leading the charge with Foxy! At night, we laid out on the benches and stared up at the stars - the night was so clear! We couldn’t stop laughing over things I can no longer remember… except about discovering the world was indeed not flat. Once again, Caroline likely peed 20 times total, and was coughing and heaving (sorry for being sick!) 😅

Jess and Eva get weird in Portland! Where they sip rooftop beers, frolick in the Nike HQ ( a mass timber wonderland), meet Big Foot and Krampus, procure free passes to a saucy community event, dance to 80s music at a goth bar/visit crusty dive bars, have a prime strawberry cough (and beanie) experience @ Electric Lettuce, savor prime Bamboo sushi, and Jess gets a cute ass tragus piercing. Throughout the trip Jess wears a lot of black to Eva’s delight #moody #angsty. On their walks to the Portland office, Jess appreciates the changing fall leaves and residential neighborhoods, feeling reminded of home on the East Coast.

OK - San Francisco was filled with challenges… and Tough Mudder was one of them! Although we found out that at the end of the race - you would be electrocuted - we persisted. We - as a team - got through to the finish line. So proud of everyone for completing the race! Although Caroline was the only one who copped out of electric shock. The number of times we dunked into mud baths and climbed 10 ft walls… 

Jess’s favorite time of the year and a visit from Tariq! Jess and Eva decorated the whole office to look super ~spooky~ON ANOTHER LEVEL (featuring creepy clown photos, hella cobwebs and caution tape, bloody stickers, and of course fake plastic bugs) and organized a halloween bar crawl around North Beach (@ Maggie McGarrie’s and Tupelo)!

A big fan of live music, Jess is a great Concert buddy. Always down to explore new music and venues! This was such a fun bonding night where we got greyhounds, beers, caught up on life and danced at Polo & Pan. So fun!

December 2019

One of the best days in December was unexpected. It started out with a simple brunch plan but ended in a full day of activities!!  New spot on polk was where Jess and Maries’ friendship began and continued to blossom!

After having an amazing meal (great eggs benedict) and hours of catching up we decided to walk back to our houses together (since we are neighbors!!). Jess was excited to see Marie’s new couch (that was 50% off hehe) and decided to come over. Kap, Jess and Marie did a long (super difficult) puzzle (connected a few pieces) and watched netflix. We order Thai food (Kap ordered us cookies) and we relaxed all day. It was a special day where the three of us reminisced about San Francisco and all of our time here. It was a day no one wanted to end!!

On one of Jess’s final few Tahoe ski weekends, she SENT IT down a black diamond on her first weekend back of the season. Harrison found a great photo opp for Jess, Marie and Caroline against the Xtreme advanced only sign. The weekend was filled with playing Mafia, jamming to tunes down the slope, exploring Squaw valley, having some nice Apres Ski, and getting fed some good, slow-cooked food (haha!).

100 things Jimin has said or done that has made me believe he’s an angel roaming and existing on earth

Jimin got worried over the fact that dogs only see two colors

Jimin broke apart dog snacks so the dog named Miri could eat them safely

In his birthday vlive when a fan commented saying as long as Jimins happy I’m happy, jimin said no I’m happy only when you’re happy

In one run episode where the game was about keeping your balloon jimin accidentally popped Jins ballon, later on when Jimin had lost his ballon he found another one which he then decided to give it to Jin because he popped his previous one

At the LY tour Jimin stopped singing for a moment to check on a fan who had passed out, he crouched down and watched on as people helped the person and didn’t budge until he got a signal that the fan was for sure doing alright

At GMA a little girl got to meet bts, she started to cry when meeting them. Jimin went immediately to comfort her, he hugged her, he caressed her head he even carried her across the stage because she wouldn’t let go of him

When asked in an interview who the best dancer Jimin did a whole show, jumping out of his seat, getting down on his knees and pointing at Hoseok, having Hoseok smiling and laughing at him

The owner of the calico cat (Curry) that was in the serendipity video said that before shooting the video Jimin wanted to get closer to Curry so that Curry wouldn’t feel nervous during the shootings

One of the staff members even mentioned that Curry might scratch him but jimin said that it’s okay even if she scratches him

Jimin heard if you kissed stingrays they will grant u luck so he kissed a stingray multiple times to grant enough luck for all of us

At the soribada awards one of camera men accidentally bumped into Jimin  even though Jimin was in the middle of perfoming, he stopped up for a second and  made sure the camera man who bumped into him was doing okay

Jimin once said said because Jungkook’s room is close to Jimin’s and because Jimin is the type to go to bed very late he tends to walks past Jungkook’s room to make sure he’s washed up before bed or turned his light off for him if he’s fallen asleep and forgot to do it

In a run epsiode where bts were to make kimchi, after struggling with making it Jimin commented on how he didn’t realize how much work was put into it and how from now on he’ll buy his mom kimchi instead of having her make it

Behind the scenes of the idol mv Jimin found a bug that was missing its leg he told it its a dangers place for it to be here and put it to the side so it wouldn’t get crushed 

In a vlive Jimin said how Hoseok told Jimin he could play games at night if wanted to because as mentioned earlier Jimin tends to go to bed late because he can’t fall asleep for some reason and he tends to get bored of just being on his phone but Jimin said he doesn’t want to do it he doesn’t want the sounds to wake him up especially if the day’s been rough and Hoseok has made effort to go to bed in time

Jimin believes aliens exist and said that even though it wouldn’t do much for him if they existed the thought just makes him happy for some reason

Jimin always makes sure to go to each member’s solo project schedules no matter how early or how late the hours are to support them

During a run game where they were supposed to pick clothes for a member Jimin made sure to choose two pair of outfits one for a smaller frame one for a bigger frame (as well as a third one as a special)

During the promotion week of the Answer album Jimin got barely any sleep to the point where people could hear members encouraging Jimin to fight on before a performance yet you can’t see in the performances if he was tired or not because he always gave every performance his all

Whenever a member gets a punishment in run bts Jimin is more likely than not the person to offer himself to go with them: example he offered himself to go with Namjoon to climb a mountain when he seemed apprehensive about it, 

he offered to even go with Jin in run bts when Jin said he’ll walk his way to the house they were staying in if it meant the rest got a treat

In the same run episode Jimin noticed Jin was getting tired of walking up the hill so he gave him a piggy back ride although jimin obviously got tired from it,  when Jin asked him if he was tired he denied it

Not only that but in that same run episode Jimin had tried multiple times to play games to win drinks for bts

He even offered himself in the same run episode to peal Yoongi’s egg who said he really liked the egg but it was hard to peal it

In another run episode Jin joking said I’m upset because he was losing a game jimin heared him and asked him are up upset hyung, even gave him a finger heart to make him smile

At a recent performance Jimin saw Jin standing off to the side quietly so he quickly went to him and spread his arms out to hug him

Jimin said that the reason as to why he started to take Polaroid picture is because he wanted to save moments and memories with the members when there weren’t cameras around

When they first started out and struggled with money Jimin still got Hoseok a pair of very good shoes and it’s still a present Hoseok cherishes and keeps today

He also got Jungkook a bag so he wouldn’t have to carry around such a heavy one as his previous one was he even got Namjoon clothes because it seemed to be his style

K media even pointed out how Jimin is always giving thoughtful birthday presents to members and putting their tastes into consideration (like a bag for Jungkook, cardigan for Namjoon, hoodie for Jin etc) They also pointed out how Jimin was always the one who is holding a cake on their bday videos

In Taehyung’s birthday bangtan bomb when eating Taehyung’s cake JImin knew that Hoseok doesn’t like sour flavors and since the cake had sour toppings on it Jimin seemed concerned about whether he’d be able to eat it. Hoseok looked really touched at the comment but said it’ll be okay but Jimin still told him which one’s he should eat to avoide the sour flavors

In a Bangtan bomb Jimin checked up on everyone and went to each members bed and wished them a good night, he even stroked Jungkook’s hair lovingly while wishing him a good night softly  

Because Jungkook recently injured himself he wasn’t able to dance along with the rest during the performances, at one point while they were performing Jungkook got so upset he started crying, Jimin who was all the way across the opposite side of the stage stopped performing and ran to Jungkook to comfort him

Jimin also said the same day in regards of Jungkook’s injury  “ I know you all are worried about Jungkook, but if Jungkook goes home like this today, all he'll do is cry. on three, everyone say I LOVE YOU JUNGKOOK”

Jimin stayed by Jungkook’s side during the concert where he was injured comforting and cheering him up for more than a minute and leaving only when Taehyung came to make him company

Jimin stood with Jungkook when he was injured, he sang for him and with him, he made him laugh and smile he held onto him while he was crying with the most endearing look on his face to exist

In a bon voyage episode Jimin and Namjoon had to walk uphill Jimin made a comment on how he felt bad for the staff because they had to carry heavy equipment  up with them

In a bon voyage episode Jimin and Jungkook bought slushies for the staff that were with them, Jimin went up to the staff and made sure everyone got one by asking them mupltiple times about it

In a bon voyage epsiode Jimin said that as a child he wanted to be a pirate and he promised his mom he’d be the number one swordsman in the world, he didn’t know pirates were bad back then and felt embarassed confessing it

Jimin said if he could have any job he’d be a cop

Jimin once took pictures of graffit art that said things like fuck you and literally went and changed it so it would say i love you he even went and cropped out an inappropriate  part of another graffiti picture

When Jimmy Fallon fell down to the floor from laughing Jimin quickly made sure he was’t hurt and asked him how he was doing (albeit such a simple thing I found it endearing he’d do this when this is one of his most common habits) 

In one run epsiode even though Jimin solved most of the puzzles for his team at the end of it he said teamwork is the most important thing and gave his team all the creds for it

In a run episode where they were to make and drink coffee Jimin knew Taehyung doesnt drink coffee and he made sure that everyone knew about it. he even asked the instructor if Tae could make a hot chocolate instead

During an episode of Bon voyage Jin was too busy cooking  food to eat  Jimin quickly called him over when he noticed it and told him to have some even made sure to feed him some pieces before it was all eaten

In a episode of bv where Taehyung had yet to arrive there, when someone said something about how this was  a friendship trip Jimin got upset and  asked how is this a friendship trip if Taehyung is missing he said Taehyung has to be here for it to be a friendship trip

When Jin and Jimin were ordering sandwhiches Jin ordered first 7 until he remembered they were 6 and you could clearly see Jimin got upset over the fact that Taehyung wasn’t here he even graoned and said come on Taehyung

Because Yoongi had a private emergency while they were filming bv he had to leave. Hours after Yoongi left bts were back home playing their own songs, when Yoongi’s part came on Jimin quickly went out his room and said Yoongi hyung i miss you 

When Taehyung asked what the biggest room is in the bon voyage house they were staying in Jimin got too excited and quickly told him which room is the biggest  even though the rest of the members agreed to not tell him got really embarrassed and made the cutest face to exist

Jimin didn’t take any sides in tae and jins fight that happened in burn the stage instead he showed them both what they did wrong and adviced them how to go from there 

Later on, before their concert, Jimin noticed  that Taehyung was visibly still upset over the fight before so he went up hugged him and even gave him a pep talk

In burn the stage when Jin and Taehyung were fighting everyone left them to talk in private but Jimin stayed although hidden in the back and out of view for them, once they were done he walked out and offered to get food togeher he even microwaved the food for them

when Jungkook neeeded paramedic assistance Jimin stood to the side and let them do their job but he wouldn’t leave until he knew Jungkook was doing better

Jimin kept talking about how he was thankful they choose to go to Malta for Bon Voyage after he had seen how pretty the moon looked there

In one epsiode Jimin even kept talking excitedly about how he spent a whole afternoon just talking with the cats in the area of Malta

During Buzzfeed’s puppy interview they got a puppy who was quiet shy and timid Jimin soon took him in his arms he played with him for most the interview and gave him kisses and cuddles when he put him down to go to other members the puppy wouldn’t budge and went back to his arms even when the interview was ending and he was putting him down the puppy went back to his arms

Even though Jimin first said in the summer package that when he first heard they were going to see stingrays he was kind of scared but  he still felt he wanted to pet them and kiss them and he found it endearing how sweet they were being when you tickled them

Jimin said whenever he does a vlive he feels like he has to prepare himself before doing it and that’s why he takes so long to come on there and apologaized for it

In an episode of run bts Taehyung got  sad after hitting the ball in the wrong direction when playing badminton, he started to walk away. jimin saw it and quickly called him and held his hand to comforting him 

Someone once called jimin perfect on vlive he genuinely looked confused and asked perfect? how?

whenever jimin falls on stage he’s quick to brush it off and move on from it but whenever someone else falls on stage like tae did for example in the recent concert he wouldn’t take his eyes from him until he was assured Taehyung was doing okay

In a vlive Jimin did with Jin, when saying goodnight he made sure to say goodnight to fans in as many different time zones as possible

When arriving at the Billboard music awards, while the rest were in awe of all the fans that were waiting outside for them, and even the signs that were there for them, Jimin was concered over the fact that they were out waiting in the heat and how it must’ve been like waiting

Jimin also once went to apologaize to all fans who were waiting outside for them to perform, he said it must be hard for them and that they should’ve hurried to get ready and perfom faster, he felt bad and felt like he keeps having fans wait for them

May 7

I had been up since about 7:40 AM. Today was busy and pretty exhausting.

I went to the facility, and one of the first things I did while there was the DD. 2′ leg extensions with EC (I call them donkey kicks, pffft.) A bit more awkward using that MP3 player as a timer for this one- but doable and enjoyable! I also counted 106 reps done by the end.

Then attended Seeking Safety (and received a job recommendation that I’ve been leaning toward accepting), worked more on that drawing (getting close to finished with the line art), and socialized (got some new stuff for my music library from Jo).

Got home, poked that idle game, and went with the family to my grandparents’ place for my bro’s BDay dinner. I helped a bit with making food (sauted some zucchini, partly to keep some distance from grandpa). The meal was nice (thankfully no real interpersonal moments of tension, this time). And grandma made him a peanut butter and chocolate cake from scratch. I’m just going to copy over some tweets.

And my gawd, that frosting was rich/heavy. 1-2-3 punch of pb, cream cheese, and condensed milk.

On top of PB's mouth-sticking power made it a challenge to scarf down. orz

For real... there was a moment where it stuck around in back of mouth that I made myself gag. :S

It was a good cake... I just asked for FAR too much. Stomach and pancreas probably hates me (for overeating & all the sugar.)

Got home, played more of the game and watched YouTube before taking a nap (had to wait till that cake went down some more... but I was so damn tired at that point). After the nap, and kind of really late, I did the rest of my exercise (I’m determined to stay on schedule).

First, Day 10 of the YCal. Today’s video was “Yoga For Change & Drain“. I rather liked this whole sequence (the foot pattering thing was a lot of fun)! Even the surprise elbow plank work, after a lot of more gentle moves. I think the meditation she prompted was very relevant, “How do you react to change and drain? How do you react to challenges or things that you may not want to do?“

Second, Day 10 of the PWC. 5′ march steps. I counted 450 reps, by the end. Pretty simple and fun to get through.

Last, Day 10 of the 1′MC.

Been up since a bit before noon.

Did the usual, but I did get in my exercise early today.

First, today’s DD. 20 jumping lunges with EC. Pretty winding and not a big fave, but done. Whew. :U

Second, Day 11 of the YCal. Today’s video was, “Yoga For Focus & Productivity“. This was another fun yoga workout from YwA, quick too. But oof, my quads were getting pretty tired from them chair & warrior poses stacked on that DD. Was a good force to grounding and I felt worth a revisit down the line! (Esp since my concentration ability... hasn’t been great.)

Third, Day 11 of the PWC. 2′ march steps. I counted 187 reps, by the end.

Last, Day 11 of the 1′MC. I did feel a bit more fidgety, because I have a lot of things I need to do today.

I then did some dishes and worked on some therapy HW (it was pretty difficult to get through), before going to bed.

May 9

I had been up since a bit after 7AM. Early enough to scramble some eggs for breakfast.

Got to pick up my meds and went to the facility. The first thing I did there was the DD. 30 ninja lunges with EC. Did wake me up a little!

Then I finished up the HW (I kind of wanted to draw, but this was higher priority), attended WRAP Group, socialized, and went to my therapy appointment (it was pretty cathartic).

Got home, poked that game, watched some YouTube, and made the family dinner. Was too tired after that to go without a nap for a couple hours.

I then got to the rest of my exercise a bit late.

First, Day 12 of the YCal. Today’s video was “Intro to Yin - Yin Yoga“. And my gawd. This was a delightfully cozy practice. I loved every minute of it! Wrapping my feet like that was so comfy and yeah. Super nice, definitely going to be among my top faves from YwA thus far! =w=

Second, Day 12 of the PWC. 5′30″ march steps. I counted 513 steps, this time. At this pace and in trying to maintain height, it did get the calves and quads a bit tired!

Last, Day 12 of the 1′MC. Pretty simple breather.

First thing I’ll do when I’m back in Japan is go to a convenience store and buy a haagen dazs sandwich haha. Japanese/Asian convenience stores are like the antithesis of grungy X’D they’re almost sparkling in comparison to the ones here in North America. Are there any convenience store snacks you might want to try?
