the thing with shri'iia is that she's actually very scared.. very paranoid. i think living in menzoberranzan just makes you develop stress as a state of well being and the fact that lolth likes her worshippers fearful! and paranoid of each other! and she was the no. 1 lolth stan to the point that being in that state of fear and distress is actually comforting for her bc its just like home ! but now that she's in the surface away from that environment and away from lolth i think she realizes that that's actually not normal lmfao and you can live without fearing someone is out to get you.

anyway i was wondering when in act 3 ill make her take the astral tadpole bc i want that for her first and foremost and i think after the vampire ambush is a good spot bc that's like, the second time their camp has been infilitrated and in the first time minthara was kidnapped so her paranoia and anxiety is in an 📈📈📈📈📈 all time high. and shri'iia is very much the type to sacrifice anything just as long as she wins, or gets the power to climb on top at the end i mean she literally signed her whole autonomy away to be one of the top's matriarch's lap dog bc she was born without any power herself. and if there's a special little worm in her pocket and a special little squid in her brain telling her to eat that worm so she can be strong enough to defeat their enemies - and she HAS been using the other tadpole powers and its been pretty useful to her - i think she'd take that insurance out of panic.
