what is your favourite canon muse?
i um. i can't choose. i can't choose sdlfkjf there are definitely some i would reach for first to answer this question over others, but i have? so many favourites?? i'm going to discount tp zelda because i've talked about her enough, i feel :'D
can i just cheat and say all my little guys? i have many, but most notably tulin ( and the crowd goes silent with non-surprise ), toothless from httyd, and young link from oot/mm ( i know i haven't spoken a word of him but he's my og son! at least in terms of the zelda series! i have no muse for him the way i have no muse for my queen, but if given the opportunity to write him again...! i'd take it! )
also, he's not a little guy, but honourable mention to revali for taking up a ridiculous amount of brainspace since i saw him and finally wriggling his way into a muse slot after all these years asflkdfj there is just so much to him. i actually don't read zelda fics ( don't ask me why when i clearly love writing for these games, i just don't ), but he and tulin are the sole exceptions to this rule...in that i have read like one (1) zelda fic involving them since totk dropped afkljsd but that means a lot coming from me!
who is your favourite OC?
i reached for kido immediately, but that may also be because he's the only oc i'm actively writing as of the moment? would dineli count as an oc? i mean. i've swiped him from nintendo at this point, he's mine now sfkldjfl i did used to write a zora oc for an affiliated group that i was fond of — that i would translate to vah ruta's first champion if i were to write him now, in an independent muse context...
ultimately, i think i'd stick with kido! something about your average kid being touched by world-ending tragedies that don't actually end the world, just his, and learning to heal from them, because there is more to life than what was first given to him. it's just very freeing to write with him, plus i've talked before about how i like seeking out the quieter narratives in any given media. it's also exciting to have him still be developing! it's very slow-going development, and i hope to stick around long enough with this blog to see it go somewhere, but i'm happy that it's there at all.
thanks for these, blue!! ♡
