i think straight up everyone at the office is in a relationship and it's honestly so awkward at times bc most of these people are just 3-5 or more years older than i am and they have a long-term partner or are even married and they talk abt their relationships a lot in a casual way (which is all right ofc! i understand that this is the person you share a life and often a house with they're just part of your day all the time like, it would be harder not to mention them) and they go out to parties and festivals and events and i have absolutely nothing to say. hi im 23 and i live alone in an apartment and i do not leave the house except for work, sports and volunteering. this is not an issue to me but i have nothing to contribute to any of your lunchtime conversations
