Aquapark HCS - MHA Boys x Reader

A/N: I dreamed about going to the aquapark last night and got these ideas lmao Bakugo, Shigaraki, Dabi, Hawks, Shinsou, Deku

KATSUKI BAKUGO

Doesn't really like swimming but will go with you if you ask

DOESN'T want to lose you in the crowd so he follows you around like a puppy

He wants to try something that you don't want? Like those horrifyingly huge slides? He'll tell you EXACTLY where he's going and will want you to do the same but he knows he can't stop you if you get distracted so he won't leave your side often

He really doesn't want to lose you in a huge place like this, what would he do without you?

You know that calm river with donuts? You both hold hands and you both have fun pushing your donuts under the small waterfalls along the way

He also likes the wave pool

You two are holding hands the whole day and he helps you dry your hair in the hotel room

If you ask him, he might invest in a pool for your house

SHIGARAKI TOMURA

He doesn't like water but he'll go because you asked

He doesn't know how to swim, but again, he'll go because you asked

You want to teach him, of course, but he doesn't want to when there's tons of people

Shigaraki's considering to break in a pool in the middle of the night just so you can teach him and just so he can spend more time with you

He's kinda scared of the slides so he didn't go but he cheered for you

hes a night owl, so he stays up well into the break of dawn most nights. only once the sun starts to crest will he drag himself off his game and tumble into bed.

he gets really whiny when he's tired. you notice that if he stays up too late, he speaks a lot less and when he does, it's mostly mumbling.

drinks a LOT of monster/redbull to keep himself up all night

he likes to deny he's tired, but if you ask him to nap with you, he'll immediately stop what he's doing and lay down with you (he always falls asleep first)

doesn't really snore but talks in his sleep sometimes, usually saying things as if he's talking to an animal? he says "fetch", and "baby" a lot. (im so sorry for this one)

takes a lot to wake him. even with the loudest alarm setting, he'll sleep right through it.

extra clingy in the early morning. he'll keep grabbing at you if you try to get up, grumbling about "five more minutes" and "cuddles" :-:

always asks you to rub/scratch his back.

prefers being little spoon, because he feels safer that way.

sleeps in the weirdest fucking positions. one time you woke up to his feet in your face and his head hanging off the end of the bed.

blanket hogger for sure. he gets cold at night

has frequent nightmares and will wake up multiple times, only to see you sleeping there, and he'll move right in and lay on you to comfort himself.

before you, he had an anime body pillow, but you made him throw it out (he was only slightly mad).

has a secret stash of plushies under his bed of his favorite video game/anime/cartoon characters (your personal favorite is the bmo plushie) (you make him put it on the bed)

has minecraft pjs and actually loves them

however he rips his clothes off after about twenty minutes of laying down because he starts to "feel tangled".

when hes reaaaaally tired, he'll go silent and just make weird hand gestures at you. youve learned what each gesture means by now.

his sleepy voice is raspier, but also higher pitched. he also says some WEIRDO shit when hes tired.

definitely gets zoomies pre-bedtime

Hands down the cutest thing to watch

like, not only is he obviously gonna be protective af

but he’s also so soft when it comes to his kids

Tenko in a suit has to be the funniest thing you’ve ever seen. ‘’It's just a drive-in movie theater.’’ You tease and he scoffs.

‘’Yeah well I can’t win, can I? Tracksuits are too casual, I remind you of a busker, remember? And what’s wrong with that by the way, you wish you had their talent–’’

‘’Enough, we’re running late.’’ You cut him off but can’t hide your smile when he’s all annoyed lecturing you in a fucking suit.

The movie chosen was cliché, borderline comical especially when you’re accompanied by a tall man with questionable appearance. How you even convinced him to join you is beyond comprehension, most likely because you promised him to play Nintendo Switch, his latest obsession. You’d play with him regardless, a man with a childhood lost, robbed from things you experienced firsthand at a younger age but Tenko couldn’t really see it. You on the other hand recognized it, and through small acts (annoying as such because for some inexplicable reason he always lost to you) you showed him everything he’d missed.

‘’I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you everyday for a year!’’

Ryan Gosling says as you feel a hand squeeze yours tightly, shoulders touching as the night sky glows above the projector. You turn to look at him confused, The Notebook was one of those films you’d seen a million times, failing to evoke powerful emotions after some time but it was still a very satisfying rewatch. Tenko turns his head.

‘’What’s wrong?’’ You say, anxious he might be having another panic attack. You knew how to calm him down but never the extent of it and that scared you.

‘’It’s nothing’’ He whispers, his voice is composed, you note, good.

‘’Yes... it wasn't over, it still isn't over..’’ Gosling continues.

‘’Can you believe he wrote to her all this time? This is so fucking cruel!’’ he almost shouts, as a couple of heads turn to look at him annoyed.

‘’Oh my god, are you crying over the movie right now?’’ You want to burst out laughing but the stares warn you otherwise, both your tones too loud. You can’t believe what a sucker for romance he is, he always acts all tough but ends up being hungry for love anywhere he can find it. You kind of get it, it also kind of breaks your heart.

‘’I’m so posting this.’’ You tease as he wipes his eyes clean with a tissue he had in his pocket.

‘’I swear to god if you don’t shut the fuck up.’’ His voice is shaky but his eyes are glued to the scene, anxious for what’s coming next. Will they make up? Maybe even make out, have sex? Poor him, he’s unprepared for the bittersweet end.

The drive back home is silent, you take it he’s still thinking about the film, contemplating its ending, unsure whether he likes it or not.

‘’Sooo.. did you like it?’’

‘’It was okay.’’ He feigns indifference and you don’t continue. You allow him to ponder before speaking up, he almost always adds something on his own.

‘’I just think it’s funny she married the other guy, you know.’’ He says.

‘’What was she supposed to do? She didn’t know about the letters, remember?’’

‘’Still, if she really loved him, she should’ve waited, should’ve been alone, grieved on her own. How could she do this?’’ He asks as you sigh.

‘’It’s just a film and people make mistakes. You never know until you tell them.’’

This time he doesn’t continue.

‘’So what do you want to do?’’ You ask once you’ve arrived home, it’s already past midnight but both of you are too lively for sleep.

‘’You promised Nintendo.’’ He reminds you and you sigh. Not your favorite part of the day but you silently take a seat next to him on the couch.

3 rounds of Mario Kart racing on the Nintendo Switch and Tenko is losing consecutively as he whines frustrated: ‘’Enough!’’

‘’I just don’t understand why you’re always losing.’’ You tell him, as far as you know he was unlocking the game levels with ease on his own.

‘’I don’t know, shit, you ask way too many questions today’’ he complains, ‘’I’ll go change, this suit is itching the fuck out of me’’ he continues as you get up.

He finds you scrolling on your phone, a towel wrapped around him, droplets falling from his hair, which he must’ve aggressively ruffled (in failed efforts to dry) as he literally drops his body onto yours, scaring you and making you drop your phone.

‘’Tenko, fuck agh!’’ You groan, ‘’my phone!’’

He was so annoying and on top of that soaking your shirt too.

‘’I’m sorry.’’ He smiles, he wasn’t really sorry, he missed you, he thought. Even though you were together the whole day, he still missed you. So much. He couldn’t get enough of you, any moment shared only made him more anxious for your next departure, he wished he could somehow glue you to his skin forever.

You playfully slapped his arm and he retaliated, pinching your nose as you pouted.

‘’Don’t pout.’’ He warns, ‘’I'll bite you.’’ But you don’t listen. He brings his mouth to yours as his teeth sink in your lower lip, pulling at it and letting it out softly.

‘’Ouch, you douche!’’ You fake pain but he knows he didn’t actually hurt you, he could never.

There was a moment where neither of you did anything, must’ve been less than a minute, before he leaned closer, mouths in close proximity as he noticed your eyes shut.

I want to kiss her, he thought and he did. Soft lips brought to yours, as you immediately kissed him back, cupping his wet neck and bringing his face even closer, deepening the kiss. His arms quivered, threatening to make him lose his balance and fall on top of you, he lost himself every time you kissed him.

His hand slid down your waist, positioning you higher on the couch as your hungry mouth searched for his again, needy breaths escaped your lips, a sight that made him feel the all too familiar pain in his groin, a towel was still draped around him and you were still in your outside clothes.

A peak across the room showed him the window curtains open.

‘’Give me a minute, baby.’’ He said as he got up to close them, returning to you with his arms stretched out, ready to move this somewhere more comfortable.

He was awakened by an asleep arm, your weight had fallen on it and he felt numb.

He gently tried to remove it but you moved around and whispered in a raspy voice, god, how much he loved that voice.

‘’What is it?’’ Your tone sounded anxious, were you afraid something was going to happen to him? Could it be that you cared that much?

Without a word he shushed you.

‘’It’s all right, go back to sleep.’’ He said moments later, a pain in his chest since he couldn’t tell you that actually yes, there was something on his mind.

‘’You know, you have to tell people how you feel, remember?’ You spoke so wisely, even after an interrupted slumber and he couldn't help but smile.

‘’I know baby, goodnight.’’ He said as you sighed and turned around.

For Tenko could not tell you that nothing compared to this, nothing like doing nothing with you and to admit this to himself was a big liability. He would tell you eventually, maybe he’d write it down, he found it easier, but on that day he chose to wrap his arms around you again, risking numbness, than to speak the words.

Ideal Valentines Day - Omega! Aizawa, Mic, Toshinori, Dabi

A/N: For the anon who asked <3 I wasn't vibing with Shiggy today, so I left him off. I feel like these all ended up being home dates, but I think being a hero or villain makes those easier lol. There are hints of n-sfw, but it's non-descriptive and very tame.

Aizawa

Actions speak louder than words for Aizawa, and I think his preferred love language for receiving affection is Acts of Service.

He has no need for material items, and that goes doubly for anything covered in hearts. I don't think he's a massive fan of chocolate. And flowers are just another thing that he has to sort out and try to keep alive as long as he can. No, he much prefers practical care on Valentine's day.

He wants you to pick him up from UA after work so he doesn't have to drive, a warm cup of his favourite coffee, far sweeter than his image would suggest, ready for him.

He wants to go straight home of course. When he walks through the door, he would love to see the house sparkling clean and tidy. It lifts a burden off him that he didn't even know was there.

There's no fancy outfits with him. He wants to immediately get changed into the comfiest clothes he has, and he would love if you did the same.

Dinner should 100% be his favourite takeaway, eaten on the couch, of course.

I don't know why, but I don't get the vibe that Aizawa is that interested in sex on Valentines Day. I think he'd prefer the intimacy to come from a shared bath or a massage.

And ideally the night ends early, so he can face tomorrow well rested, for once in his life.

Mic

Hizashi loves cheesy romance, he lives for cheesy romance! He eats, sleeps, and breathes it!

I think receiving gifts is something he loves, so get him a pink teddy bear, get him a comically oversized chocolate bar, get him a sappy card filled with cheesy love poems (bonus if you write them yourself.) He loves it all.

He also wants to be at home, because he's worried about people recognising him and interrupting the date.

He would love, love, love if he came home to a trail of rose petals to follow, he's always wanted to do that!

I think he'd enjoy cooking dinner together, just making a mess, playing around, listening to music.

Please pull him to dance with you, he will melt.

Once the food is eaten and the mess left for tomorrow, I think he'd want to do some sort of activity. A board game, a video game, painting together, anything! He's having fun as long as he's with you.

Toshinori

His idea of romance is old school. He developed his taste mostly from films, rather than experience, after all.

He wants roses so badly. He can't decide if it's more romantic to get a dozen roses, or just one, so he'll let you decide.

I think something private would be more meaningful to him because he's spent his life in the spotlight.

He wants you to meet him at the door with a rose/bouquet of roses, and then lead him into the living room of your home, where you've laid out a fancy dinner.

He wants the fancy dinner table to be set to the nines, he wants candles, champagne, and some food that he can eat. He wants classical music playing in the background.

And then he wants you to pull out his chair for him and wine and dine him until he's completely smitten, not that that's hard.

He doesn't mind if you order the food, but he'd prefer if you either made it by hand, or had it ordered from a special place as opposed to just off a food delivery app. He wants everything to feel special.

The best way to finish the night after dinner is with a movie. One of his favourite films, probably a ridiculous American action film or terrible romcom.

He needs some good old fashioned cuddling at the same time of course.

And because he's getting old, he wants to spend the final moments of the day tucked up in bed, talking about feelings and the future, and all the fuzzy things you're both looking forward to in your relationship.

Dabi

Dabi is softer than he will admit, which means Valentines Day with him involved tricking him into feeling loved.

You can't do things that are too typical, because he'll get spooked. If he comes home and sees heart shaped balloons or dozens of roses, he will flee the scene.

Luckily, he is utterly weak for pizza, so if he comes home and you've ordered his favourite pizza and got a video game/film set up, he can't resist.

"This isn't some weird Valentine's shit, is it?"

"It's just pizza, Dabi, but if you don't want any, I'll eat it all."

"What? In your dreams, knothead."

Once you've lulled him in with pizza and games, you can start putting the moves on him.

He's almost always down for sex, so that part is easy. The hard part is stopping him from escalating it into something rougher, and keeping it gentle.

He gets frustrated at first that you're being too soft on him, and it's at this point that you start lavishing him in praise and body worship. His frustration turns into bashfulness and Dabi gets kind of shy.

Let him know how much you love him.

He loves gaming with you. You tend to play Mario Kart or random arcade games on console for your dates. He’d love to go to an actual arcade with you, but that’s not really in the cards rn so virtual arcade it is!

Boo! – How do they feel about surprises, giving and receiving?

He’s… not really sure how to feel about surprises? Like he’d be open to them? But he’s not really sure how to react if he’s the one receiving. He does like giving you surprises, but he doesn’t dress them up or make them a big deal. It’s more like: “Here, I got this for you.” *Hands you the trinket*

Comfort – How do they comfort you when you’re upset? When the tables turn, do they come to you, or try to handle it themselves?

Feelings are weird, man. He’s not really sure how to comfort you if you’re upset. It kinda depends on why you’re upset. Did someone hurt you? Not to worry bc he’ll end them. Your feelings doing a thing? Idk, he’s a little more lost on this one so he might just try to distract you with a game. If you’re really not up to anything then he’ll cuddle you quietly, a soft blush on his cheeks. He, on the other hand, does not want to be comforted. He will handle this on his own just like he always has

Dance – Do they like to dance with you? How good of a dancer are they?

Nope. No no no. He is not a dancer. He is a terrible dancer. Don’t ask, he will immediately refuse. You’ll be stuck dancing with Mr. Compress, Twice, or Toga, (maybe Dabi if you really sweeten him up)

Excitement – How do they act when they’re excited? What excites them?

He does like… a little… moan? When he gets excited? He stops scratching his skin, a small smile forming on his lips, and depending on what’s getting him excited, he may also blush or run his hand through his hair so you can actually see his whole face! There are a great many a things that you can do to get him excited: getting a new 2-player game for date nights, sometimes even flustering him (but only in private, he’s the boss afterall) He also appreciates when his plans go his way, or something works out in his favour

Future – What are their plans for the future? Do they see themselves getting married, having kids?

He’s got a world to dominate, broski. Stick with him at your own risk (I say this lovingly ofc). I don’t see him getting married, but there’s potential for a long-term partner. I also don’t see him having kids. His childhood was too problematic, plus his quirk? No thanks.

Gifts – What do they give you as presents? How often do they get you gifts?

He doesn’t get you gifts often, but he does like to gift you little trinkets when he happens upon one he thinks you’ll like. He prefers gifting you things you can do together, like multi-player games. He’d also be open to getting you a new hoodie (or more likely, acquiring a new hoodie for himself that you always end up stealing)

Hold – How do they hold you? Cuddling, sleeping, holding hands…

If this is pre-controlling his quirk, then he likes how fearlessly you hold his pinkie. Regardless, he prefers being the little spoon or having you sprawled out on top of him when sleeping if you’re cold natured

Gaming together! Besides, he’s trying to destroy the world as it is currently so… there’s not much he can do out and about

Jealousy – Do they get jealous easily? How do they handle it?

He does not get jealous easily. Not to say he doesn’t get jealous, it just doesn’t happen easily. He… does not handle it well. He can be quite short-tempered with you when he’s jealous. It can go one of two ways: 1. He lets it simmer and fester for a while before blowing up at you or 2. You notice he’s acting different and bring it up shortly after

Kisses – How do they like to kiss you? How frequently do you kiss?

He looooooves kissing you. It’s a way to show you attention and care without needing to use his hands. I feel like he loves to kiss the top of your head. And also your fingers, like your fingers are so soft compared to his!!! Kisses happen fairly frequently in private. He doesn’t like PDA, but the once in a while kiss on the cheek makes him feel soft

Love – How do they show you that they love you?

He loves to touch you. Your skin is so soft and he loves how velvet-y it feels beneath his rough fingertips. When he is having trouble going to sleep, he’ll lay next to you quietly, gaze fixated on your sleeping face while he traces your features softly. His fingers always linger on your cheeks or your waist (depending on how he’s holding you) As stated previously, he loves holding your pinkie finger, it’s just such an intimate feeling

Melt – What do you do that absolutely makes them melt?

Just the fact that you seem to genuinely care. You don’t try to change him or make him something that he’s not. You’re tender, perhaps a little shy yet straightforward with him, which I think he appreciates. You’re not afraid of him, or maybe you are but you’re good at hiding it. You… accept him

Nicknames – What do they call you, and what are their favorite things to be called?

He calls you “sweetheart” or by your name He really loves it when you call him by a shortened version of his name, like “Tomu’,” and he really loves it when you use “Tenko,” he might even like it when you call him “baby” ;)

Obvious – How obvious do they make it that they like you?

Not very obvious that he likes you at all. He expects to be rejected so he keeps his feelings to himself. If you happen to bring it up however, he’ll admit them

Pets – Do they have pets? Do they want them?

No pets, he doesn’t want any. He’s very traumatized about pets so… it would take a LOT of convincing

Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?

He’s pretty chill tbh. Relatively quiet, prefers to listen to whatever you have to say, but doesn’t mind chatting if something is on his mind. He likes sitting in the room with you, you could be doing your own thing while he games and he’s perfectly content

Romance – How romantic are they? What are their go-to ways of being romantic?

Not very romantic and very confused about what that means??? Might get an idea or two from some rom-com you make him watch, but he’s very clumsy about romance

Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?

He won’t really be in a relationship with you if he doesn’t feel safe or comfortable in some capacity. He likes that you listen to him talking. Not just hearing his words or doing as he says but actually listening to him, asking him questions. The fact that you put zero pressure on him to behave a certain way or react a certain way is also reassuring. He enjoys spending time with you, you make him feel loved

Tend – How do they act when you’re hurt or sick, and vice versa?

If you’re hurt, his reaction depends on how you got hurt. If someone hurt you, they’re dead meat, make no mistake. If he accidently hurt you, I think he’d feel… absolutely awful and wouldn’t be able to forgive himself. He’s not really sure what to do if you feel emotionally hurt? Like, do you need a hug? If you’re sick he tries to remember how his mom would take care of him when he was sick, but it was so long ago… He does appreciate when you take care of him. If you make him some soup while he’s sick, or tend to whatever wounds he may have. You always treat him so tenderly

Unforgettable– What’s something you do or have done that they’ll never be able to forget?

Something he’ll never forget is the first time you gamed together. He barely knew your name, and he definitely didn’t peg you to be a gamer like he is. You’re so… pretty? And smart? Likeable even? Neither of you really talked while you were gaming either. Maybe a playful insult or some competitive banter here and there. That was the first time he’d ever lost a game, and he’d gladly lose again if it meant seeing your face light up when you win.

Variety – Do they prefer to keep things the same, or spice it up?

I think he prefers consistency. He’s a villain and he gets enough ~spice~ from his lil missions and whatnot. He just likes to game, leave him alone :(

Wash – What’s it like taking a bath with them, or helping them wash up after a fight?

He loves bathing with you. You’re so sweet the way you wash his hair for him. He’ll try to wash yours, too. He’ll lather up some soap to rub delicately over your skin. Yes, Tomura is an octopus. Honestly, I hadn't even considered taking references from existing sea creatures, but now I think it's a giant Pacific octopus.

My original idea was that Dabi and Shigaraki met when Dabi was 13-14 and living with his family. Tomura got stuck in a fishing net and was dragged to the pier, where Toya practiced his transformation. They became friends when Todoroki brought little merfolk home and nursed him back to health. The ring Tomura wears is made of black jade and was given to him by Toya.

Despite the fact that Dabi found Shiggy when he was the size of a tiny octopus, the age difference between them is 3 years.

Merfolk, such as Tomura, undergo a slow development until they reach 10-11 years of age, typically dwelling near the coastline. They spend this time concealing themselves from predators and subsisting on prey that corresponds to their body size. Upon reaching maturity, they venture into deeper waters to pursue larger prey. 

Tomura is also venomous. Depending on the concentration, his venom can induce either numbness or mild paralysis, accompanied by swelling in the affected area. This venom is contained within his saliva and the mucus secreted by his tentacles.

Shigaraki's body length from the top of his head to the tips of his tentacles is 3 meters. On the ground, he is usually 1.58 meters tall because he has no bones below his pelvis. Tomura can stay out of the water for no more than 4 hours, otherwise he is in danger of dehydration.

His scars came from hunting prey larger than his size, hostile interactions with humans, and territorial disputes and duels with other merfolk. Due to a mutation, his chromatophores are useless, so he is quite noticeable to enemies, but he does have advantages in speed, strength, and agility. His skin is pale and his octopus part is almost black, though you can see dark red shimmers in the light.

Tomura prefers a solitary existence within a den, which varies in sizes and substrate. He currently occupies a cave with interconnected underwater tunnels providing access to the ocean.

Although Shigaraki is a solitary individual, he maintains connections with the merfolk community, participating in fairs to acquire or exchange items. He is fluent in the underwater languages and proficient in certain regional dialects of his homeland.

He is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, both in the water and on land, wielding a spear, sword, and harpoon. He applied for training to become a guardian or a hunter. He was not accepted into one academy because his clan was treated with caution due to past troubles, but was accepted into another where his clan was highly respected by the founder. Training under the AFO's auspices, Tomura gets to know the members of the League.

He graduated from the academy at 19 and met Dabi again two years later when he was checking out his old den.

I don't touch on events and conflicts from the manga as I don't know how to relate them to my ideas, since I only came up with something for three characters, lol
