hi! congrats on hitting 1k! <3 could i request Fred Weasley (romantically) please? I chose him because of his personality mainly, just that i really like his personality and find it really attractive
my name is Elodie (she/her), i didnt know if i had to include it or not but i thought so since i like that its quite a unique and rare name
i've got quite long, wavy, blonde hair (down to about the top of my waist) and green eyes and i would say im somewhat tanned
i absolutely love anything history related, i can name every english monarch, almost every single thing that happens in the tudor dynasty and i know so many greek myths and could talk about the ancient greek every day life, mythology or theatre for days tbh. i love going to museums or art galleries and could spend hours in them, i usually drag my friends around them with me as well
i get high grades, usually top or second to top of the class, i wont lie i do usually need academic validation
i love classics, romance and fantasy books sm, some of my favourites are heartless, six crimson cranes, circe and macbeth
pink is def my favourite colour by far
i love slow burns that dont drag on too long and allow time in the story to see the couple happy n stuff and soulmate tropes, they always feel so sweet, i love movies like that - my favs are howls moving castle, little women (2019) and cinderella (2015)
sorry if this was too much, i didnt really know how much you'd want so i just included all that, tysm anyways! <3
hi!
thank you for participating :)
i wouldn’t consider fred a very academically inclined person. it’s not that he’s bad at it, he just think there’s better use of his time. muggle studies is really the only version of history he’d get, and he probably wouldn’t pay much attention to it. so while he probably wouldn’t be that fascinated by history, i do think he’d hyperfixate on things a lot. so he’d think it was really cute when you’d ramble about something you found interesting, and he’d listen to you with a smile on his face even if he wasn’t personally interested in whatever it is you were talking about. he’d also really appreciate that you listen to him ramble on about whatever he’s interested in, so he’d always want to return the favor. i actually do think he’d find mythology interesting. and he’d use any excuse to go to muggle london with you and let you drag him around to the museums and galleries. he’d also sit with you while you studied, despite being bored out of his mind. but he knows how important to you it is, and he wants you to he happy. and plus, it wouldn’t hurt him to get a little studying in too.
i don’t think he’s a reader either, but i do think he’d actually really enjoy the classics and epics. something tells me he’s a sappy romantic, and i do think he also would love the adventures. and he really likes you, so he would really love laying with you while you read to him. honestly, i don’t think he’d really mind what you did together, as long as you were with him.
despite him not really paying attention to academic things, i do think he really pays attention to things that matter to him. he’d notice the little things about you, and all the things like and the things you don’t like. it’s really sweet, he’d show it in little things. when he started developing products with george for the shop, he’d keep you in mind.
one day over the summer, he’d invite you to the burrow. at night, he and george would set off a case of fireworks they developed. the last one would explode into giant pink hearts that twinkled.
you’d smile, watching them sparkle in the sky. “pink. i like pink.”
“i know that, darling,” he’d smile, throwing an arm around your shoulder. “i picked it for you.”
“you did?”
he’d smile, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “i did. contrary to popular belief, i do notice things. i knew you’d like it.”
“i do,” you’d say, wrapping your arms around his waist.
“you gonna help me with the next batch of products? i need your smart little brain, george isn’t cutting it.”
you’d chuckle, nodding. “of course i will, love. only if you don’t use any of them on me, though.”
he’d smirk, shaking his head. “no promises, darling. no promises.”

thanks again for participating! hope you liked this :)

I was looking up flower meanings for a story we're analyzing in class and I decided to look up saffron (crocus) and honeysuckle... babe? Thats so sweet! Everything that comes up for the meaning of honeysuckle is so sweet. But then again Im a slut for love and melt at the word tender. Love to see that honeysuckle is hard to kill! But also that it symbolizes devotion and everlasting bonds. So sweet so lovely. And theres a greek myth about crocus! Its kind of sad but also a little sweet. Also since you keep bringing up the color purple with Saff Im focusing on purple crocus meaning. Which is pride, success, and dignity. Um yes please let my girl have all of that. Love that look for her. But also interesting that it doesnt mean nobility or wealth as purple flowers usually do. Because purple is a rare color in nature it was an expensive dye and associated with the rich. Crocus regardless of color represents cheer and is a harbringer of new beginnings. I just really love flowers and plants and things. Thank you for letting me talk about some flower symbolism. Im also now thinking about how important flowers and their meanings were for courtship in the Victorian era.
Oh wow !! You know stuff like this absolutely melts my heart !! You wanted to look into the flower meanings !!!!
I love giving characters names with meaning behind which is what I did for honeysuckle !! I definitely researched Honeysuckle and the meanings behind that and I feel like it’s helped create the base for what Saff/the story is about !!
I really like the stuff about crocus cos I didn’t catch all of it when I was looking into her name! Purple is definitely the way to go I’m glad you get it !! And nobility/wealth just isn’t her (to me anyway) so that fits!
Thank you sm for being so sweet and dropping in with your thoughts it’s really made me smile!! I will be looking up the Greek myth now cos I didn’t know about that one! 💖
#I very much enjoyed the phrase ‘slut for love’#I am very touched that you would choose to look this up#my heart has absolutely melted#ask#anon#saff#honeysuckle

todayyyyyy my questions are lacking im so sorry but lets hit it!
1. building off the first question of my last message - do you have a favorite ghost/supernatural story?
2. do/have you watched any ghosthunting series on tv/youtube?
3. inspired by the headache im rockin with rn: how do you think danny would take care of you when youre sick or you feel unwell? (if you havent read “where the love light gleams” by maddie over @hearts-hunger i HIGHLY recommend it
as always, remember santa loves u !
🎅🏼
#26
oop ive started a countdown: 8 days !!!
Good morning santa!! Sorry todays response is delayed- I had to go and read that Danny fic you recommended and it was SO FUCKING CUTE I needed time to process.
Honestly, I don’t really know any ghost stories. Growing up ((((as a Percy Jackson/Harry Potter kid)))) I was more into mythology of all sorts. Admittedly biased toward Greek and Roman mythology, because while I was reading the books my brother was taking his first Latin classes so we both kind of hyperfixated on it together. My favorite story was the story of Persephone and the pomegranate seeds. I vividly remember first reading a version that was formatted into a children’s picture book, and I was blown away by the intricacy of the story. I also always really liked the idea of sirens, I forget what origin that myth is from but the idea of them exclusively appearing beautiful to lure men to their deaths always made me go “haha nice.”
I was never really into the ghost hunting shows. On one hand, they always made me super on edge because those kinds of shows rely on jump scares (or at least the ones my dad would watch). Now that I’m older, I don’t watch them because I feel like there’s a lot of pressure to fabricate an interesting story, so I’m a lot more skeptical of everything happening. I know about buzzfeed unsolved (formerly I know, I don’t know their new name) but I was always more of a Worth It gal myself.
This is such an appropriately timed question bc of the way I was rotting in bed on wednesday from my booster shot!!! I think @hearts-hunger does a great job of writing Danny as considerate and compassionate and an absolute angel seriously thanks again for that rec it was such a sweet way to start my morning. If I had Danny here after my booster I would absolutely be asking him to do things like fill my water bottle and turn on my essential oil diffuser. He would probably get on me over how I need to eat something, he’d probably put me on a movie and leave me to rest while he whipped me something up. I’d also just make him lie with me. The weirdest and strongest symptom I had from my booster was that my skin was like HYPER-SENSITIVE to touch- almost like I was sunburnt or bruised. But also I experienced a lot of back pain, so I’d ask him to rub my back or maybe even just lay on top of me. I’m a big weighted blanket gal so I feel like another person just laying on top of me sounds delightful. But yeah. Lots of naps, lots of movies. Probably a few bong rips to help with the pain since I really don’t love taking a bunch of painkillers.
I love u sm santa, I’m sorry if my first two answers are lame- I just honestly don’t consume a lot of ghost content. But you did make me giggle when I finally realized what you meant by fleshpedestrians
Have a lovely Friday (closes app briefly to make sure it is in fact friday) YES Friday have a lovely FRIDAY

Primum Sanguis Sneek Peak
You’ve been waiting for it (I think?), and here it is! The first sneek peak of my DVD fanfiction. I don’t think the scene require much context. Also, it’s fluff.
Enjoy and let me know what you thought of it :) Also, big thanks to @meridianrose for the editing :)
Her ears were still beating like drums, but the fresh air helped her breathing and made her flushed cheeks cool down. There was always a time when she fled a party, desperate for some calm. The music was nothing more than a faint murmur now, and the chatter had almost entirely faded. She sat on the steps, ignoring their coldness.
The cold weather of the day had prevented anyone from strolling in the gardens. A pity; the bushes were covered in frost, shimmering like gems under the moonlight. But it was all for her eyes, and her eyes only. The thought made her smile.
“Here you are! Signora Fanucci was worried that you vanished on her.”
The hushed and low voice behind her back deepened her smile. She turned just enough to face the man who had just stepped out of the mansion.
“Did she sent you to look for me or were you also happy to escape her?”
Riario shut his eyes for a second, before carefully avoiding Caterina’s gaze as he thought of another excuse that might explain why he was standing here. Cat’s playful expression softened.
“I guess there is no reason why I should be the only one escaping society.” As she spoke, she shifted a little, leaving more space next to her on the stairs. Her husband sat down with a sigh, close enough for him to brush against the fold of her dress sprawled out on the marble steps.
“All this small talk, this pointless gibberish…it’s exhausting.”
Cat only nodded in agreement, her gaze focused on the gardens.
“How does it feel?” Riario went on. “When you’ve endured it your whole life?”
Judging from the sound of creased fabric and the sudden weight of his gaze on Cat’s neck, he had turned to face her.
“Less tiring, I suppose,” Cat answered, giving him a side glance. “And yet, I’m fleeing from it.”
She would have said anything to see him smile like he just did. Not tight and false like he usually smiled in public. But soft and genuine. And almost playful.
She wondered if he had already smiled like that at other women. A part of her hoped he hadn’t.
She looked back at the night sky, as always spell-bound by its beauty and quiet majesty. She felt lucky the snow had already fallen: the sky was clear, and the stars were shining brightly.
Just for us, she caught herself thinking. Her cheeks flushed and she bit her lips. How much time did they have before Rosamunda sent someone else to look for them?
“I haven’t done that in years. Stargazing,” Riario explained.
“Are they usually no stars in Rome?” Cat asked, trying to hide her confusion with a teasing smile.
“I don’t remember ever seeing them this bright.”
That smile again. Cat didn’t mind the cold anymore.
She slightly shifted to soothe her numb arms and their fingers brushed against each other’s. Cat’s heart jumped in her chest and her cheeks flushed once more. She risked a side glance; from what she could see, she was the only one flustered. Riario’s quiet and rather dreamy expression as he watched the stars seemed peaceful. It made her wonder if he had touched her on purpose.
The thought made her stomach stir.
Maybe Rosamunda was right: her husband was trying to court her, intending to win her affections one way or the other. And no matter how hard she tried, Cat couldn’t suppress the feelings she still harbored for the Count, no matter how cold and rude he could sometimes be. The more she looked at him, the more time she spent with him, the more she saw glimpses of the man she had met in Milan. The man she had thought she could love. Maybe it wasn’t too late.
“Which one is your favorite?” she asked. “Constellation,” she clarified when Riario turned towards her, puzzled.
He looked back at the sky as he shifted position, pensive.
“I never really gave it much thought,” he said, seeming almost ashamed of his confession. “I use the stars as guidance for travel, nothing more. But I enjoy looking at them,” he quickly added, like if he had caught Cat’s slightly disappointed gaze. “They are a beautiful sight.”
Those words brought back a light smile on Cat’s lips, and she would have sworn Riario’s expression softened as he looked at her.
“Which one do you search for?” she asked.
“Polaris and Sirius,” Riario answered, pointing them as he spoke.
“Grandmother used to tell us Sirius would guide us home.”
Cat bit at her lips, realizing it wasn’t the most sensible thing to say. After what they had gone through the last few months, speaking of Milan seemed unkind. But Riario’s eyes didn’t harden.
“Is this what you yearn for? Home?”
He didn’t sound angry or upset, just genuinely interested. Maybe even a bit sad, Cat thought.
She nodded slightly, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment as she met her husband’s gaze.
“I miss them,” she confessed. “Less now than a few months ago, but still.”
Riario didn’t answer, just nodded and placed his hand on hers, gently rubbing his thumb on Cat’s skin. Cat shivered under his touch.
“Oh! You must be cold, of course, I…” He removed his hand before Cat could object and started to unbutton his coat, draping it around the girl’s shoulders.
Cat smiled in thanks and tightened the cloth around her. It smelled like him – leather, iron and citrus soap – and it increased the warmth in her belly.
They remained on the steps, neither of them speaking, listening to the quiet humming of the party behind them. It seemed so far away, almost from another world.
“You didn’t tell me. Which one is your favorite?”
Cat felt another burst of warmth when she saw her husband’s relaxed expression and quiet half-smile. She felt the corners of her lips lift, and she returned her attention to the skies.
“Andromeda,” she replied after a moment of reflection, her fingers pointing to the two ranks of little stars. “Though the myth behind it isn’t the most pleasant. Andromeda was chained naked to a rock, as a sacrifice to a sea monster, in punishment for her mother’s hubris, who had claimed she and her daughter were more beautiful than the Nereids,” Cat explained, uncertain as to what Riario’s reaction would be. “I don’t think they teach that one in monasteries,” she added jokingly when she saw her husband’s puzzled expression.
“Indeed, they don’t,” he replied, the corners of his lips slightly up. “They don’t teach anything about Greek Mythology, to tell the truth.”
“How do you know those myths, then?”
“Curiosity some could judge misplaced.”
Cat’s smile broadened under Riario’s warm gaze. She wished time would stop and that the stars would shine for them forever.
“Maybe we should go back inside?” she asked nevertheless. She had seen her husband shivering slightly, and he had tucked his thumbs in his hands, as to keep them from the cold.
“No!”
Cat was startled at his outburst. Something flinched in Riario’s gaze and he explained himself more quietly: “I mean…I would love to hear more about the myth, if you don’t mind.”
“We must share your coat, then,” Cat said, the words sounding like an order to her own ears. “You are the one freezing now.”
Riario gave a quick look behind his shoulder before shuffling closer to Cat, squeezing himself under the part of the coat she had lifted from her shoulder. Cat bit at her lips to keep her smile from spreading when his shoulder bumped into hers. Her heart was racing so madly in her chest she believed Riario must be able to hear it.
She explained the story, pointing to Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Perseus, as they appeared in the myth. Her husband listened with rapt attention, his gaze going back and forth between the skies and her.
“Do you know any more tales that I’ve never heard of?” he asked when Cat grew silent.
She slightly twisted her lips, thinking. “I don’t know,” she eventually said. “But I can show you more stars, if you want.”
Riario nodded and Cat ignored the warm feeling in her chest to return her attention to the night sky. She pointed out the constellation of the dragon and the other stars following Polaris, which formed the Ursa Minor.
“It doesn’t look like a bear cub,” Riario noticed, making Cat giggle. “Or it is a very strange one, at least. Look at that.” He pointed his finger to the trail of stars. “I guess that is its tail, but its body…How could the ancients look at those stars and see a bear?”
Cat laughed softly. “Now that you say it…but the next one looks more like a real dragon, doesn’t it? I’ve never seen a dragon, but those stars could be the tail and body, and those ones the head.”
“Those ones?” Riario gestured at the entire constellation.
Cat grabbed his hand and made it follow the serpentine pattern. “See?”
He nodded.
“So, this one is Perseus, this one is Ursa Minor and this one is Andromeda?” he asked, pointing at each constellation with his hand still under Cat’s. She slightly curled her fingers to keep it on his.
“You are a quick learner,” she approved, lowering her hand into her lap. Her smile grew when Riario’s hand didn’t move, resting under hers, his fingers gently clenching the fabric of her dress.
“I have a good teacher.” He gently squeezed her hand as he spoke, and Cat felt her smile broaden despite herself.
The breeze rose, making the snowflakes dance on the frozen ground. Cat felt a chill run down her spine and huddled closer to Riario. He took both her hands in his, keeping them warmer.
“What are you two doing outside? You will freeze to death! Shoo, off my stairs.”
Rosamunda’s shout made them both jump. She shot Cat a mischievous and knowing look before she swirled back inside, already laughing at the jokes of someone Cat couldn’t see.
Riario rose first from the stairs, offering Cat his hand to help her stand. She suddenly felt the cold surrounding her, like frozen swords stabbing her.
“Keep it,” her husband said as she took his coat from her shoulders. “At least until we are inside.”
She smiled thankfully and linked her hands around the arm he was extending.
