In PDH I was sort of focused on how freaky Aaron is (he still is) and sort of ignored some major issues Gene had.

He groomed Zenix and Sasha.

Like no matter their ages he's groomed them to be dependant on him, as adamantly shown by the fact they fall apart the moment he graduates

As in I don't think Sasha even shows an interest in bullying, and while Zenix is mean spirited his bullying attempts are.... well he got bullied by Zane.

He literally gets them to photograph Aphmau and give him the photos (they failed but its the thought that counts?)

Look I said its grooming regardless of age but like. Zenix is definitely, like, 14 too right? These are behaviours he's going to carry into adulthood.

For Aaron its way worse since he's the protag and hero of the story but these are still treated as insignificant by the narrative.
