okie so hyrule’s hyrule has my favorite pokémon of all of the boys in my au and there’s a little bit of it in the pokedex entry but god i have so many thoughts about how pokémon ecosystems would exist in his hyrule

Leafeon #470, the Verdant pokemon. Leafeon’s cellular make-up more closely resembles that of a plant rather than an animal despite its outward appearance. This allows it to photosynthesis and produce clean air around it. It’s smell from its leaves is also a popular perfume scent. When it’s young, Leafeon smells like fresh grass and with age will begin to smell like fallen leaves. Overall, this pokemon does not like fighting and would much rather explore nature. The Hero of Hyrule’s Leafeon is an anomaly in its time. Grass type pokemon are rare due to the post-apocalyptic wasteland that has become of Hyrule. No one knows when it evolved into a Leafeon much less how. However many rumors say that it evolved somewhere between the hero’s first and second adventure (Zelda I and Zelda II). Leafeon is never far from its partner, always ready to travel right at his side and protect him from any monsters should they attack first.
