not to have an extremely giant inflated ego when it comes to my playlists bc at the end of the day compiling a bunch of songs to suit a character or a fictional ship is purely abt fun and ppl with like regular jobs and stuff don't usually start up stupid discourse over a topic as inane as this but i do consider myself to be somewhat more skilled than the average character/ship playlist maker simply bc where the average playlist maker will put hayloft by mother mother i will put stuff like House of the Rising Sun in Old French

#also i have an impenetrable method to always have a supply of thematically relevant songs without directly copying anyone's playlist #of the same ship or character #bc once i get stuck i'll think of other characters or ships from media i know that ultimately have the same or at least similar dynamic #or like fundamental internal conflict as whoever i'm creating the playlist for #so like . don draper -> michael corleone or . peggy & pete from mad men -> kendall & rava from succession idk im just making stuff up now #and then i will search for those playlists made my other ppl and take songs which i deem fitting for my personal uses from them #which means to the simple naked eye i'm not copying anyone from the same league as me bc i simply understand the themes.#this got so long im sorry im very passionate abt playlist making & it is such a scientific but ultimately detached & logical process to me #mp
