cane corsos are a dog breed i've genuinely become very interested in but i feel like i can't trust like... any videos on youtube or a bunch of other resources about them because so many (mainly white right wing men) make all these claims about how "aggressive" they are and "how terrible and bad they are" and "you shouldn't own one unless you're prepared for the dog to kill someone!!!" and it's like hey maybe let's not do that

#thinking about the corso i met at the dog show #she was a puppy and her name was kitkat and she loved being pet even after her owner said she was still getting used to people #like man i don't think any of those dogs had an aggressive bone in their bodies #and again there's differences between show and working line dogs what breeders breed their dogs for #and what owners/trainers are training their dogs for #so yeah i'm sure you could get a corso w civil aggression fit for personal protection or guard dog duties if you really wanted to #but like... that's definitely not ALL of them lol #this is a callout for american standard dog training on youtube #i hate that guy lol #if i ever decide i want a corso that's definitely gonna have to be a breed of dog i get after spending time with people who have corsos #for like... normal dog/dog sports reasons lol #me'ira barks #also i do know that cane corsos are a naturally protective breed/guardian breed. that isn't my issue
