not to warriorcatspost but something i really wish they did in omen of the stars was emphasize dovewing and lionblaze’s mentor-apprentice dynamic. i know lionblaze is like, just as edgy and disgruntled as jayfeather sometimes but out of the two i would’ve liked to see him warm up into a gentler character. maybe he unwittingly starts treating dovewing like hollyleaf and being way too overprotective and he has to learn to overcome that for dove’s sake. that would’ve been a way better arc for him than whatever was happening between him and cinderheart! and i wish dovewing had at least one close healthy connection in her thunderclan family 😐
