Very much introverted and aloof, usually prefers the company of books or his forge to people. The Ironwoods were notoriously known as a werewolf-hunting family at odds with the Greybacks, Cled being the seventh son of a seventh son with a much greater heightened perception of beings with malicious intent or dark origins was supposed to be considered a super soldier against such creatures.

At the age of eight, tensions with the Greybacks boiled over, resulting in the death of most of Cled’s family. This resulted in resentment from two of his three surviving brothers. Just a note Cled is in a bit of an on/off relationship with Gareth Farr (@whatwouldvalerydo​) but the relationship is not designed to last.

Marigold is very much extroverted, coming from a rich family of aurors, hit wizards and ministry officials. The family has a secret, they’re all Maledictus (think Fantastic Beasts era Nagini), Marigold herself can transform into a fox.

Marigold sees the curse for what it is, while some advantages can be provided, the thought of being trapped as an animal forever offsets all of the pros. Thus her goal is to find a way to break the curse on her family.

scream au (death, murder tw) where billy and stu’s (any fcs can be used for those two) plan worked and they successfully killed sydney and framed sydneys father for all of the murders. life went back to normal and it’s a few years later and one of them starts dating someone new. the new romance blossoms but after awhile together the partner starts to suspect that something weird is up and slowly starts to uncover the truth, but they’re in too deep and are already in love and in a serious committed relationship with the boyfriend who they now know is a serial killer.

gossip girl au where are muses are either a part of the original friend group, they’ve finished university and are just living their lives OR our muses are children of the original characters, they’re nearing the end of university or have just finished and are joining the world and are falling in love, but as their relationship blossoms, they start to learn more about their parents teenage and young adult years and it complicates things.

ok so boy is a middle child through and through LOL. his dad is a writer who also works as an english professor at new york university, meanwhile his mom works in human services helping people who have fallen off their track in life and stuff.

alex is essentially a male carbon copy of his mom in appearance but his personality is 100% his dad’s lmao

his dad was really into rock music and playing the drums when he was younger cuz wow the 80s and really wanted at least one of his kids to have good taste in music, so he kept the drum set and all the old records despite the fact that they were just collecting dust in the garage . . . until alex came along !

first was the drums, then it was the guitar, then it was being dual-enrolled in both the band and choir classes, and then, finally, it was starting his own band with 2 friends at only 11 years old

his dad got real lucky cuz alex clearly loved music, and he considers the 80s to be legendary. 

i'm gonna revisit his music in a moment cuz we gotta start getting into the tragedy that i mentioned ! so alex was like a really chill dude when high school started. he was a bit of a pretentious hipster bitch, but he was chill. he didn’t really say no to things ? like if something or someone just fell into his lap, he’d roll with it and didn’t really think too much about the consequences ? he was a big stoner and lost his virginity and probably way too young of an age because of it. he just didn’t really Care too much lol

he was essentially that quiet stoner that played his guitar in the courtyard and didn’t pay much attention to anything going on around him 

. . . unless he overheard you talking about something that was stupid or he didn’t agree with. then he’d butt in to be like “l o l that’s wrong !”

then he met molly ! if you’ve read chloe’s intro for bobbi you know molly ! we love molly ! molly was cute in that girl-next-door way and she was funny with good taste. it was hard for alex not to fall in love with her, really. they were friends first before they started dating, and it was through her that he met all of his current ride-or-die friends. he had never been good at making them, so she was a blessing for his social life. she was amazing. he loved her, his parents loved her, they were good. she was good and then she was gone. just like that. a car accident in which she wasn’t even the driver.

to say the loss devastated him would be an understatement. he shut down completely. he stopped hanging out with friends, stopped playing guitar in the courtyard; his presence in class was like that of a ghost. nobody ever knew what to say to alex before, and it was twice as true now. he just sort of Existed for the remainder of junior year, throwing himself into his studies instead of ever really taking the Time to Deal with it all.

it really hit him like a truck when summer hit and it was at this point that his parents forced him to start seeing a therapist.

his therapist recommended he use his band and music as an outlet, since that seemed to be his healthiest coping mechanism. ( see, i told you we’d get back to that ! ) taking this advice, he threw himself headfirst into it. like, he got really into his band. it’d been a bit of a hobby between friends before, and sometimes they worked small gigs, but now alex was also trying to produce them on a bigger scale. this helped him through his grief tremendously, especially because if felt like he was doing molly proud.

alex was 18 and had graduated when all this hard work paid off. after releasing a self-made ep entitled after molly, the band started gaining some serious traction. we’re talking getting featured on spotify’s indie hits lists and their fanbase skyrocketing in size from the couple hundred monthly listeners it had been. suddenly they were getting booked sold out indie gigs left and right all across the manhatten area. it was nuts and it is still nuts. they even have a well demanded

they’ve put out a 2nd ep since the initial takeoff and are now working on a full blown album ! exciting !

so, yeah, that’s definitely an exciting exchange for being utterly heartbroken i suppose. its been years since molly passed now, so he’s okay now for the most part. he still gets sad sometimes, and he still has all the pictures they took together and all the cheesy playlists they made for each other saved. she’s always gonna be the first girl he was ever in love with,, and i don’t think he’s yet to have a serious relationship since her, but don’t worry about him just being a clay jensen 2.0. my boy is faaaar from that and he’s had his grace period, y’know ? he good.

as far as prompts go, i think that it would be great to see your thoughts on the way that george handled what he saw as his sister’s betrayal and those complicated feelings of love, hurt, and anger. his friendship with fawna is also so important to his character, so i’d love to read a bit about what that friendship means to him. another interesting aspect of his character to touch on would be all of george’s different dreams, his after graduation plans, and whatever that secret between him and the ashes was !

 Tyler Green. Tyler’s popular, popular within the marching band anyways, which seems considerably less impressive but was still pretty great for his high school life considering he went to a large suburban high school where the marching band and color guard reached over 200 students. There are pros to being on top like getting to study with some of the smartest kids in his grade, first pick at the color guard girls when it came to homecoming dance season, and even just being looked up to and respected by others. There were some trade offs too though, after all he was near the top of the latter but he wasn’t all the way at the top so that meant hanging out with the cooler kids and ignoring his middle school friends when the other’s were around. It was a trade off he hardly noticed though so wrapped around in his new glory, upsettingly enough it’s not something his older friends haven’t noticed though and the megaphone (french horn during concert band season) player’s developed quite a knack at hurting them. He also has a strange obsession with Harry Potter and Emma Watson but lets not talk about that.

                     OUT. || YES. Let me talk about this! So, sometimes I can’t find someone with resources that are extensive enough who are the EXACT right age, so my goal has been to just get LOWER than they are now. The issue that I’ve taken with TVD, TO… and pretty much every show out there right now is that the use of people who are TWICE or more their character’s age is it weakens the impact that the plots in the show can have. 

SUPER QUICK DISCLAIMER that I do not dislike the actors who play the Mikaelsons. I think they do fantastic jobs. I do not, however, think they should have ever been cast in the first place. Since they have been, I totally accept them as their characters, but in RP, we’re able to play around with these elements the way we deem acceptable. This is in no way me hating on the actors. OKAY. Here we go!

So the TVD wiki used to have the ages of the Mikaelsons on them, but they have since taken Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah’s ages off. However, Finn and Elijah’s are there, and you can use those to figure out what makes the most sense. 

As far as Freya goes, we know that Dahlia began to slow Freya’s age when she was about fifteen, and she’s aged one year for every hundred for the last thousand years, making her physically around twenty-five. Riley’s twenty-six currently, so I think she’s totally fine as an age-appropriate cast. 

The wiki says that FINN is meant to be 27-28 years old. Casper is 41 years old: a fifteen-year difference between the actor and the character he’s meant to play. A few actors with generally-similar coloring who are  currently in or have resources from when they were in their late-twenties are Kevin Zegers, Ben Barnes, Brenton Thwaites or even Nathaniel Buzolic. 

ELIJAH is meant to be 23-24 years old. Daniel is 41 years old, almost twice the age of Elijah. Daniel has a fairly youthful face, I will admit, but not THAT young. Not early twenties. My favorite fancast for a younger Elijah is JEAN-LUC BILODEAU. There are a few others I could see, but he’s aways screamed Elijah to me, so??

They took KLAUS’ age off of the Wiki, but it used to say 20-21, and that makes sense considering Elijah would be a few years older than that, so I’ll stick with just getting into his twenties. Joseph is 35 years old, meaning he’s fifteen years older than Klaus is meant to be. DOUGLAS BOOTHE, ANSEL ELGORT, or JACK O’CONNELL could work!

Now KOL is hard for me, since he’s my own character. The Wiki used to put him at 17-19, and I think that’s fair. I usually play him closer to 19, which gives Rebekah the chance to be a smidgeon older as well. Nathaniel, as much as I love him, is 33 years old. He was already too old to play Kol when he first appeared in 2012. There are a few actors I think could work really well for Kol and be closer to this age. KJ APA, for one, has a LOT of Nathaniel’s looks and is exactly 19. Dylan Minnette is also around that age. I’ve used Nick Robinson, and I currently use Jonathan Whitesell. He is, in fact, older than I want him to be, and I am still on the hunt for the PERFECT younger Kol. 

REBEKAH used to be listed as 15-16, and I have always rounded that up to SIXTEEN. Now, CLAIRE does in fact have extensive resources from when she was that young if you exclusively caps from her H2O days, and she’d be great. Another actress I could see for her is AnnaSophia Robb.

Again, I’m not hating the casted actors. Do I think they’re too old for the characters they play? YES, but I do think that they do a fantastic job with the opportunity they earned.
