i finally called my dad out on him constantly calling me lazy and saying i’m not doing enough and how it was making me feel bad abt myself and it actually allowed us to have a conversation and i think he understand me a little better now… wtf expressing your feelings can actually get you positive results did yall know about this????

#i know this probably seems like a small silly thing but i have never once been able to be honest abt how his comments make me feel #bc i thought if i did i would just get yelled at #but instead he explained himself and where he was coming from w those comments and when i told him they upset me he backed down #idk im so used to expressing emotions equalling punishment from my last relationship #so these little moments where i can do that are really big to me #em.txt #also hi guys sorry i havent been on all day :( miss uuuu
