ohhh you're absolutely right... Now you've got me wondering about different hairstyles for post toasted ending Nishiki. Absolutely hopping on this rn before the Nishiki brain rot settles.

Below the cut (again), content warning for burns :)) Long rambles too... lots of Nishiki portraits with random hairstyles.... you get the picture.

Despite knowing that his hair would more than likely be gone/in patches, I absolutely agree with you that he'd probably go for transplants. I doubt he'd wanna go that long without hair aklsdfjdklsf- BUT HI ALSO that half-hair loss is valid too- it just wouldn't be as neat as #3! There would also be little strands of hair that manage to grow in between the burn welts too!! He'd be a bit patchy- which is what he should be >:)

But the wig thing? That's such an entertaining idea.... you know. Why settle for norm when you can out and be who you wanna be and then mix it up day to day? The possibilities are endless with wigs... I could just imagine him having so many and then making sure his outfit was on point before going out.

AKLSDFJSD AND I MEAN, you know.... this could happen too,,, he could become Joryu or the cooler nishiki Ichiban. Wig him up...

HMMMMMMMM I've been thinkin' a little about this when I started Yakuza Kiwami recently!! Thank you for making 2am-4am me finally do something about it!!

Not that I'm great dude that can draw detailed and accurate burns and so on, but I'm tucking this under a Read More tab to spare those who might be uncomfortable!!

Also! Major spoilers for Yakuza/Yakuza Kiwami ahead! the game has been out for years- are spoiler notices still worth adding?

Obviously as the "guy who pulled the trigger", he'd suffer the most burns, cuts from shrapnel/physical damage from the collapsing floor.

His hair would have been lost/thinned in result. So while I would love to give Nishiki all his glorious hair back- it wouldn't be the same. So- it's thinned, less controllable.

I've drawn his burns darker here, but obviously over time, they settle down and they're not "as obvious"? In that, they're still present (and always will be) but they're not as deep as the initial burns.

The burns are present across most of his body (with a majority over his face/front of body) but also minimally present over his back. Mixes with his tattoo which makes it harder to see the burns. Examples of the body burns are a little later on.

I can't decide whether or not I think he'd lose his sight completely or partially? So there's gotta be eye damage in there somewhere (and not accurately drawn by me what-so-ever).

From left to right:

Full body burns and injuries. Shrapnel has sliced into him, flesh has deeply burnt/eroded so there's components where chunks of his chest is missing. This needs to be examined better in the future so there's definitely gonna be some better, more accurate details later on.

With his prosthetics!! Think he deserves these after everything. Arms/Legs need to be examined further to draw them accurately. Most/all damage should occur to the right side of Nishiki considering he pointed the gun at the bomb with his right forward.

Body w/o prosthetics. That's literally it ay.

... yeah.... this one's a joke........ I gotta find something that fits his Y0 aesthetic because mwah!!

Anyway, that's a lot! Certainly something I'd love to think about more in the future!!! If anyone has some cool recommendations for Nishiki then please 👀👀👀👀 I'm all ears and would love to see/hear you out!!
