The overall, underlying CONCEPT of the Lodge of Sorceresses is actually something Yennefer might have been interested in being a part of. A group of powerful, intelligent women setting aside their own loyalties + biases for the advancement of magic ? Very up her alley. 

However, the execution was so overwhelmingly bad ( in her own opinion ) that it turned her off to the idea completely. If things had been different – if they’d made other plans, if they hadn’t involved Ciri, if they’d treated her better during that first meeting – who knows ? Maybe she would have stuck it out. 

But that first meeting taught her that it was the same manipulative, power-hungry game she’d played in the past && left behind. It shed a harsh, bright light on why her own past involvement in schemes like that had been a terrible mistake. 

So, that being the case, joining the Lodge definitely isn’t at the top of her to-do list.
