This is a commemorative post for my 50th (technically 51st) MCYT playlist! Emperors, Hermits, and of course Traffic Life. I can’t believe I’m at 50 already! 😅

This has been such a fun time for me over the last few months! I’m adding to them everyday and always listening to them! I think I’m most proud of Boat Boys, Scarian, and Flower Husbands for groups/duos and for individual characters, I would say Mumbo, Pearl, Lizzie. Jimmy, and Joel! These characters and groups mean so much to me and I can’t thank the CC’s enough for all that they do.

This post would also not be complete without a thank you to you all for helping me add to these playlists! Specifically for Flower Husbands, it wouldn’t be as incredible without the song suggestions I received, so thank you! ♥️

Now for some stats!! : The longest one is Grian’s at 338 songs, and 4 of these playlists made my top 5 most listened of the year! (Granted these were started at the end of July-Now so that’s- actually insanity)

Life Series Solar System- a Winner's Symbolism Ramble

So we all know the winners of a life series get assigned space motifs, right? We've got sun, stars, and moon solidly covered. What about the planets?

I'm Mleem, I go feral about symbolism in an unscripted block people series, and here's the list of which lifer I would assign to each of the planets. This list does not contain all lifers. I do not have ideas for all lifers. I have planets and I'm a space nerd.

MERCURY- SCAR

All planets but Earth are named after Roman deities. Some domains of the god Mercury include trickery, thievery, and commerce. Sound like anyone? GoodTimesWithScam himself is right at home with all of that. It's also the closest planet to the sun [gestures at desert duo] and its very high temperature seems fitting for HotGuy.

VENUS- SKIZZ

Venus is the goddess of love. Love is stored in the Skizz. He's been the kindest person throughout his series, and puts his love for his friends over all else. Plus, Heart Foundation. Venus as a planet, however, is an extremely brutal and deadly place, just like how Skizz can easily succumb to bloodlust. He may be loving, but he is not harmless.

EARTH- GEM

Gem is extremely associated with nature, with her cottagecore aesthetic being one of the reasons. But Gem also embodies the darker parts of nature- she is deadly and predatory. She is life in all its parts, fitting for our living planet. She's also a great duo with Pearl, our local moon!

MARS- MARTYN

Listen, I know Martyn's cosmic motif is debated, but I really think Mars fits him. First off, his name means "devoted to mars". Secondly, the hand of dogwarts and the victor with the most brutal win works very well with the planet named for the god of war.

JUPITER- IMPULSE

The biggest planet, named for a god of storms and lightning. Electrical impulses, perhaps? True to its name, Jupiter is a stormy planet, with its very well-known Great Red Spot being a storm that never stops. Seems fitting for the guy who never, ever lets a grudge go. Also, fun fact- Jupiter has a nearly identical composition to that of a star. And they're both Scotts.

SATURN- BDUBS

Yes, I know he built the earth, but hang on a second. While Saturn, in Roman mythology, is most well known for. uh. something horrible, he was also the titan of time. Something Bdubs is very, very associated with. Saturn as a planet is known for it's beautiful rings, which. Just feels very Bdubs to me. Maybe it's the canonical marriage in Double Life.

URANUS- JOEL?

This is the one I'm least certain on. The Joel association is mainly vibes, pulling from the fact that Uranus in mythology was a sky god (the first one, before Jupiter showed up) and so was Joel in Empires. But really, it's mostly because he'd find the name funny. Someone had to be it.

Uranus is also sideways. The planet is on its side compared to everything else in the Solar System. This doesn't help the Joel vibes, I just wanted to mention it.

NEPTUNE- LIZZIE

What better lifer for the planet named after the god of the seas, than the Ocean Queen herself? An incredibly distant planet, and a player that hasn't joined many series, Neptune also has a very interesting trait to its orbital path- very rarely, it will cross that of Pluto, making Neptune the most distant. And that brings us to...

PLUTO- JIMMY

Who else but our canary in the coal mine, first to fall all but once, to take the (dwarf) planet named for the god of the underworld. Death, and the underground. Demoted once-planet with cringefail swag, yet still beloved by many. The furthest away from the center of our solar system, and perhaps thats why he's so vulnerable to dying first. Maybe Lizzie and him crossed orbits, and that's why she fell first instead.

oooh. i've had some ideas for a traffic/wof crossover, but those touched a lot into other games and also a completely separate series. so this post is just in terms of third life (as far as the games go, this one is definitely best fit for a wof au. you already have the kingdoms all set up).

grian is a sandwing, for obvious reasons. and his name is ridiculously perfect.

scar is a sandwing, also for obvious reasons. i don't really see them as the sandwing king and his advisor. they're more like the business-savvy, slightly corrupt leader of the scorpion den and his long-suffering right hand man. also, his name seems exactly like the kind of nickname someone from the den would have. if i would give him another name, it would be basilisk.

jimmy is a silkwing! i thought it was fitting bc flower forest, and he's not very dangerous. his name is arthemis, after the red-spotted admiral.

scott is a leafwing. i really like leafwing/silkwing duos, i think they're fun. he would have pretty strong leafspeak, and he would love growing flowers for jimmy. his name is foxglove, after a poisonous flower.

tango is a skywing, and a firescales. he's almost always depicted as a blaze hybrid, so i couldn't really make him anything else. i named him pyre.

impulse is a nightwing. he's sneaky, and isn't above lying to help his 'tribe'. his name is duskbringer.

etho is a mudwing, because swamp. i named him alligator.

ren is an icewing, for red winter. he's probably an important general camping out near other tribe's territories or something. gives his men passionate speeches. his name is lavan, the hebrew word for white.

martyn is also an icewing, for the same reasons. the general's right hand man, who gets really into the speeches. definitely the brains of the operation. his name is frost.

skizz is a sky/night hybrid! he has skywing vibes but i wanted to make him a nightwing because of the enderman stuff on his skin. and i always have to have at least one hybrid, so yk. i named him obsidian.

bdubs is a skywing. the crastle kinda reminds me of how i first imagined the skywing castle. his name is kite.

cleo is a hive/sky hybrid. i cannot even begin to describe my thought process for this one. if ykyk. their name is mantis.

joel is a leafwing. i was really struggling with him. i named him wolfsbane.

I’m playing Pokemon Emerald cause I was never able to play a Pokemon game when I was younger.  It’s going great aside from me randomly naming my Pokemon after Minecraft Youtubers and starting an au.

Here’s the most current screenshot of my team, and now I shall share some of the thoughts about the au I accidentally made that I’m also using for my in game lore where I basically don’t really exist, but that’s another thing.

How the team formed.

Tango first met Skizz on Route 102, and after basically knocking the crap out of each other, they laughed it off and became friends.

They later found Impulse and Etho in the forest before Rustburo.  Impy and Etho were basically just chasing each other around a tree, and thought the duo were cute and asked them to join.

They found Joker in the cave on Dewford Island, but it took a while to even talk to him cause Joker just kept on poking Skizz and making dumb comments replaying to him and running away.

They finally find Zedaph in the desert on Route 111 fighting a Glalie and a poacher all on his own after the Glalie knocked out all the Vibrava and Flygon.

And now for some random facts about them.

They built a tandem bike.  Skizz handles the front pedals, and Tango handles the back ones.  Joker sits on the front handle bars holding the Pokenav so they all have a vague idea where to go.  Zed sits on the back handle bars so if someone tries to attack them close range, Zed can hold him out and have him chomp them.  Etho and Impy sit in a baby bike trailer in the back.

Tango will not stop raising the bar.  Like he’s highest level, and every time he steps up to give the others a break from battling, he only gets stronger and raises the bar even higher.

Etho’s natural eye color is blue, very out of the norm for Poochyeans/Mightyenas, however his left eye is red, and he has a scar over it.  Most people who first meet him think he got that scar in a cool way.  Impulse will tell you that Etho tripped and hurt his eye on a sharp rock, and he had to take Etho to the Pokemon Center.

A lot of people think Etho’s a lot more intimidate than he is.  He’s not.

After joining the team, Skizz saved him once, twice, 5 times, at least 10 times.  Etho is waiting for an opportunity to save Skizz once.

When Skizz evolved into a Lombre, a patch of blue stayed around his right eye.  Most of the younger Lotads he’s run across think it’s the coolest thing ever.

Impulse is wary of Sevipers because one named Helsknight decided to use him as basically a poison tail paddle ball.  Impy’s shed skin helped him from being physically hurt too bad, but the mental and emotional hurt hit full force.

The usual red and blue sections on Impy’s wings, and his eyes are purple.

Joker used to steal stuff from campers back when he lived in the cave.  It’s how he got his jester hat.  He stopped after joining the team.

He also has a section of the cave full of stolen tripods, and he forgot where it was when he left home.

Zedaph stubbornly refuses to evolve stating he does not want to gain a 4x weakness to ice.  The only reason he might consider it is if Groudon, Kyoger, AND Raquaza were all fighting, and there was no other way to stop them.

Despite refusing to evolve, he has these little pink bumps on his back.  Etho teases him by saying they’re his little wing bumps.

Zed’s eyes are basically what I’m calling Dragon Type Purple.

Tango is the only one who can fully speak the human language, and as such has taken it upon himself to not only shop but advocate for all his friends.

Joker and Zed can partially speak human, and they have been taking lessons from Tango.

As the local hc x dsmp madlady I have done a lot a lot A LOT of crossover concepts and I have decided "hey i wanna see how many I've done" and so I have discovered I have done... a considerable amount lol and have decide to compile them here because why not? Some are just one post, some get expanded either way it was fun re-reading them :3

Canon reloaded au and OWV: the big ones!! the main ones even! Canon reloaded au is my attempt to reimagine the entire mcyt scene as a cohesive universe. I have done tons of post about it and also is the setting where Off-World Vacations for the heartbroken and desperate happens (if u don't know what is that is a fundy goe sto hermitcraft while the dsmp decends into chaos fic you can read here)

Rendad au: hermit fundy au but fundy was found and raised in Hermitcraft, mainly by ren, this one's cute :D

Herobrine family au: grab all the herobrine coded characters and make them relatives, funier because dsmp gets to experience the Joe Hills difference and also TFC

Hermit! Rivals duo: Techno and Dream in Hermitcraft what will they do? The False goes to dsmp au: just what it says in the tin dre x hc: my take on what woud happen if evil blob man gets a "goes to hc for therapy" story... the post and a wip fic about it the sally debacle/sleeping with the fishes au: a mess of a crack au that proposes cutout sally and sally the salmon are the exact same person, aka a mermaid that is both ren and wilbur's ex girlfriend. And then the au spiralled into a sitcom

Hc x dsmp but they are the jetsons and the flintsones: just an idea proposing both servers exist in the same planet but hermitcraft is up in the sky

Redstone sheep au: hermit! Tubbo au but also i make him Zedaphs nephew

Hermit!quackity time: big Qgoes to hc because man seemed sad at the time and i wanted to send him there

HAV au: heroes and villains au (i am GREAT at naming things) and it is hc x dsmp but hermits are the villains and dsmp folks the heros

alien hermit!purpled: just an excuse to have Purpled talks with Xisuma bedwars himself

helsmite tommy au: hermit Tommy but he is found and adopted by the hels! Hermits instead

mcc but dream fears the dreamslayer because he can see grian is a watcher: exactly what says in the tin! also a ficlet

iskall and hbomb try to bankrupt las nevadas so they can take fundy and tubbo back to vh: exactly that

Hc x dsmp. But is just a demon convention: skizz, impulse and bbh all are demons and often see eachother in demon conventions. Watch as impulse and Skizz with Scar's help try and figure out what is up with bbh (he possesed by the egg)
