today I was like I think I'll take a break from writing my paper to look up the history of the Archie comics and i emerged from my hyperfocus two hours later with the knowledge of (1) there exists an Archie and predator crossover in which various characters literally get killed but the art style is still regular degular Archie comics style, (2) there was a Sabrina the teenage witch and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG CROSSOVER (3) these mfers loved crossovers, (4) there's like a million AU series such as one where Veronica is a vampire (titled Vampironica) and a separate (?) one where everyone is some sort of supernatural creature (NOT Archie's weird mysteries although that show was my fave as a kid), (5) they tried rebooting the art style in the 2000s but it was very uncanny valley so they changed it back, (6) as far as I can tell there are no comics where Betty and Veronica are dating so brb, going to become a comic artist so I can change this
