also fun fact: milo’s name was actually sam when we adopted him, but we changed it to milos on the adoption paperwork, with it being milo for short and the lady was like “oh! like milo and otis!” and i was like “no! like the greek island :)” and she didn’t understand what i was saying :/

#sam doesn’t even suit him like No that’s Not my baby :(#also fun fact: the vets rules w getting a kitten was ‘first come first served’ and we got there before this couple that reeeaaallllyyyyyyy #wanted milo. so they showed up literally right when we finished signing the adoption papers #and the vet was like ‘sorry but there’s two other kittens from the same litter to choose from!’ and they were like no we wanted him #specifically. and they left. and then we left #and as we were talking to the car with my newly acquired baby……we heard them complaining #calling me a spoiled brat and selfish and saying i didn’t deserve him #and it blew my mind that they wanted him but didn’t even give his siblings a passing glance :(#like if they’d shown up before me and adopted him first i would’ve just gone with one of the others???#like i wasn’t there for a Specific Kitten i was there for a kitten and he was the one that i chose #it turned out they wanted him bc he’s part ragdoll and LOOKED like a ragdoll #so like….#anyways looking back i think it was probably a good thing that they didn’t adopt one of the others bc idk if i’d trust them to treat him #well yk??? they wanted him for his breed (which would make sense if he were a hypoallergenic breed but he isn’t) not for HIM #so now he’s my precious baby and he’s spoiled rotten and also healthy and happy and loving #my cat tag
