“Did I really get to shag you last night?”
Jimin x Reader (or oc)
Word count: 2.5K
a/n: Holy moly wow! Over 600 of you babes follow me now! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks for hanging out with me on here and reading my overly fluffy writing. Here is a silly Jimin drabble for you all, and I really don’t know how I feel about it, but I hope you enjoy! Thanks again for reading! I love you babes sooooo freaking much, you have no idea how much you all mean to me.
The glow from the early morning sun flooded the room, creating a warmth across the sheets you were smothered in. When a sleepy yawn sounded in your ear, the man’s breath tickling your skin, you smiled, the memories of last night rushing into your mind.
Pulling the mess of blankets from your face, you peeked over to see a messy-haired Jimin biting his lip at you. “Good morning, Dear,” he said sweetly as heat flushed his cheeks.
“Good morning, Handsome.” Your compliment disguised as a pet name made him smile bashfully as a giggle escaped his pretty lips. You smiled widely at his reaction, rolling over to wrap your arms around his bare waist, nuzzling yourself into him. Placing his arm around your shoulders, he pulled you in even closer.
You both let the clock tick away as you melted into each other’s embrace, no words spoken. Jimin eventually broke the silence with happy humming. Running his hand through his hair, he looked down at you, a giddy grin spreading across his face. “So last night was… wow,” he chuckled.
Burying your face in his bare chest, you giggled. “It was definitely wow,” you whispered fondly. Rolling your bodies over so he was positioned overtop you, he smiled happily at you, his eyes in the shape of crescents.
“You’re so pretty in the morning,” he said as he kissed your lips gently. “Wow,” he smiled teasingly, eyes scanning your features as he admired you.
A blush tinted your cheeks as you smiled up at him. “You’re very pretty too,” you said shyly. “Very wow,” you giggled. Threading your fingers through his tousled bed hair, you pulled his face down to yours again to kiss him for the second time that morning.
Deepening the kiss, he pushed your frame into the mattress. You swallowed each other’s quiet moans, both still trying to hold back your sounds a bit due to the newness of it all. Before he could get too carried away with you, he suddenly ripped away from the kiss, checking the time on the alarm clock.
“Fuck,” he exclaimed under his breath. “Fuck, fuck, I’m gonna be so late,” he said as he jumped off the bed, fully naked. You couldn’t help the giggle that slipped out as you observed his panicked state. Shooting you a wide-eyed look, you bit your lip. “What?” he said as a smile appeared on his lips.
“I just like the view,” you said seductively. Looking down at his nude body, a moment of embarrassment flashed through his face, his whole body heating up. “Wow,” you said sincerely.
‘Really?” he asked, a cocky smirk replacing his previous shy one. You nodded as you dragged your eyes up and down his frame, taking in every morsel of flesh.
“Did I really get to shag you last night?” You said in awe.
Jimin erupted into a fit of giggles as he searched for his clothes. “Did you really just say shag?” He chuckled as he found his bottoms and slid them on, immediately making you pout. “Stop,” he laughed at your reaction. “I already want to stay here, and you’re not helping.”
“Sorry,” you smiled innocently. “When will you be done?”
As he searched the room for his shirt, he hummed in thought. “I’m not sure. We’re starting to learn a whole new choreography today. For a new song,” he smiled.
In excitement, you crawled towards him, sitting on your knees. “Ooh, now that I’ve slept with the lead dancer and singer, do I get sneak peak benefits?”
Smiling fondly at you, he walked towards you, cupping your face to place a soft and sultry kiss to your lips. “You always had sneak peak benefits, Dear.” Looking around the room, he huffed. “Where the fuck did you throw my shirt last night?”
Laughing at his question, you scanned the room. Spotting a white shirt messily sprawled across your dresser, you pointed  in the direction. Following your finger, he spotted the shirt and let out an “ah!” Turning to look at you again, he kissed your forehead. “Thank you,” he whispered against your skin. “Thank you for last night. We’ll talk about it later, ok? I promise.” You simply nodded with a sweet smile.
Stepping away from you, he grabbed the shirt, pulling it over his head as he exited the room, looking back at you one last time to flash you a dazzling smile. “Good luck at practice!” You shouted after him. As soon as you heard your front door shut, you fell  back onto your mattress with a sigh of contentedness.
Dozing off into a light snooze, you were awakened several minutes later by your phone dinging. Reaching to check the device, you discovered a text from “Chiminie”.
Chiminie:“Seriously, last night… wow. If you want a sneak peak of the song, come to the studio today.”
Smiling down at the phone, you crawled out of bed, scooping your t-shirt off the floor. As you threw it on and started making your way to your kitchen to make some coffee, you noticed the shirt hung down to your thighs, making you looked down in confusion.
Picking at the material in your fingers, you smiled. It was Jimin’s. You could even smell him in the material. Returning back to your task of preparing coffee, you suddenly gasped, followed by a breathy chuckle.
If you were wearing his shirt, he must be…
. . . . . . . .
“What. the fuck. is that?” Yoongi gawked at the shirt on Jimin’s body. Hoseok was preparing to scold Jimin for his tardiness before he noticed the shirt and burst into a fit of laughter, Jin following suit as he pointed at Jimin and cackled.
“Huh?” Jimin looked at his elder member with wide eyes. “What’s what?”
A laughing Jeongguk suddenly pointed at Jimin. “Nice donut boobs,” he teased. Jimin looked down at his body, taking notice of the t-shirt that showed two donuts overtop where your boobs should be. Fuck.
“Where did you even get that shirt?” Jin asked between laughs.
Suddenly, Hoseok's eyes popped wide open, his laughter abruptly stopping. "Is that a girl's shirt? Did you hook up with someone last night?"
“Wait, what?” Yoongi asked in surprise. “Did you?” Jeongguk's laughter also stopped as he gawked at his older friend in curiosity. Namjoon and Taehyung, who were talking across the room, were suddenly very focused on Jimin, the two men wearing two very different smiles—an impressed and proud smile from Namjoon, and a knowing and giddy smile from Taehyung.
“What? No, guys, stop. I'm sorry I'm late, but can we just start practice, please,” Jimin begged, wanting the attention away from him. You and Jimin had been friends for ages, and he did not want to have that discussion with his members before he even had that discussion with you.
Namjoon appeared in front of Jimin, putting his hand on the frustrated man's shoulder, saying a simple, “that's my boy,” with a big grin, before walking away to begin practice. "Let's start guys." Taehyung, however, was not ready to start practice, as he knew exactly where that shirt came from. The three of you were always very close, so Tae had seen you wear that exact shirt around your house several times. In fact, he knew your house was the only place you ever wore that shirt.
Tae nonchalantly made his way to Jimin, smiling slyly. Raising his eyebrows at his friend, he waited expectantly. Jimin decided to play dumb. “What?” he asked his knowing friend.
“How long has this been going on,” he asked Jimin as he placed his hand on Jimin’s shoulder and tugged on the material of the shirt.
Jimin sighed, knowing he was busted. “Last night was the first time," he whispered so no one else could hear.
The biggest grin overtook Taehyung’s face as he patted his friends shoulder. “The first time?!” He yelled, earning a harsh glare from Jimin accompanied by an angry shush. "Sorry," Tae looked around at the members to make sure they weren't paying attention before he continued. "That's just, that's big," Tae said with a big grin.
"Yeah, I know it's big. And we haven't had a chance to talk about what exactly that means for us yet, so I would appreciate if you would keep this between us for now," Jimin warned, and kind of pleaded.
"Oh yeah, of course. I won't say a word,” Tae said seriously and sincerely. Then a big smile graced his face again. “But dang, it's about time you two got together,” he said happily.
"About time?" Jimin looked at him in confusion. "What does that mean?" Tae shot him a look, as if to say, really? "I don't even know if we're together," Jimin added, stress overtaking his features. Taehyung immediately noticed his best friend's worried expression.
"Hey, you guys will talk and figure it out, don't worry about it. This is y/n we're talking about. She's not going to take this," he gestured at Jimin and the shirt, "lightly. It meant something to her, you know that." Jimin nodded, knowing that Tae was probably right, but he still couldn't help but worry that things would not be ok between you and him now.
"Guys, let's go," Hoseok called out to the two boys, making them snap out of their discussion as they hurried over to begin dance practice.
. . . . . . . .
As you made your way into the dance studio a few hours later, carrying bags full of takeout, you couldn't help the grin that was plastered to your face. You also couldn't help the anxious feeling that was making your heart beat out of your chest. Pushing on the door to enter the room, you heard Jeongguk's loud voice giggling and taunting. "We just want to know who she is." Oh fuck.
Entering the room quickly to take the attention away from your poor... whatever Jimin is to you now, you held the bags in the air yelling out, "Your savior has arrived!" All eyes shot to you, smiles appearing on their faces one by one as they noticed the bags of food. They were all stood by the stereo, meaning they must be taking a break.
"Oh thank god, I'm starving," Jeongguk said in relief and happiness. Setting the food onto the table, the boys all thanked you as they dug in, but you were looking for one boy in particular. When you spotted him, a small smile was set upon his lips, his eyes watching you fondly. You returned the smile, but suddenly, another body stepped in front of your vision as arms wrapped around you, lifting you off the ground, spinning you in circles.
"Tae," you whined. "Put me down." When he set you down, you saw the massive, very knowing boxy grin he sported. You bit your lip as your face blushed. "Stop looking at me like that," you warned with a shy smile.
"I'm not looking at you in any way. I'm just very happy to see my friend," he teased. "My friend who happens to make my other friend very, very happy." Groaning in embarrassment, you shoved him towards the food. "Go eat." Taehyung giggled like a little boy as he made his way to the table.
As soon as Taehyung was gone, Jimin was there, flashing you an apologetic smile. "I didn't tell him," he assured you, making you chuckle. "He figured it out because of," he gestured to the shirt.
Nodding you smiled. "The kid is observant." Looking over at the boys who were digging into the food, you looked back at Jimin. "Does anyone else know?"
Immediately shaking his head, he looked at his members briefly to make sure they weren't listening. “They don’t know it’s you,” he sighed. “I wanted to talk to you about us before I told them anything. I'm not hiding it, though," he quickly clarified, making you giggle. “I don’t want to hide it.”
"Obviously you're not hiding it," you pulled on your shirt that he was wearing. “How did you not notice?” You asked with an amused expression, making Jimin smile bashfully.
"Yeah, I fucked up," he chuckled. "Now these guys won't leave me alone about it," he gestured to his members.
“Yeah, I heard,” you laughed. A moment of silence came over you both before Jimin cleared his voice and prepared to speak.
“Are you ok with what happened last night?” He asked, concern etched into his features.
Cocking your head as you scanned his face, you nodded. “Of course, I am.”
“Ok, good. So, what does it mean for us?” You watched Jimin chew on his lip as he awaited your answer. His nervousness made you giggle, making a small smile appear on Jimin’s face. “Are we like, together now?”
“Do you want us to be together?” You asked with a smile. As he quickly nodded, his eyes widened in anticipation of your next words. “Then that’s what it means for us,” you said simply. Jimin’s lips turned upwards once again, making his eyes turn to crescents.
“Really?” He asked more out of relief than surprise. You nodded happily in response. As Jimin grabbed your hand to pull you into a hug, Jeongguk’s voice called out to you both, halting Jimin’s movements.
“Jimin-ssi! Come and eat. You need to replenish your body after exerting yourself last night.” The comment earned chuckles from the other members, with the exception of Tae who stood there smirking like a mischievous school boy. “Y/n, did Jimin tell you he hooked up with someone last night?”
Rolling your eyes, you smirked at Jimin before approaching the maknae. “Did he? He didn’t tell me.” You said playfully, popping a piece of food into your mouth as you made direct eye contact with the maknae.
“Yeah, didn’t you notice the ridiculous donut boobs?” He laughed.
“Hey, I like that shirt,” you defended. “And it looks good on him,” you smirked in Jimin’s direction. Your comment made Taehyung snicker as the others started realizing what was happening.
“No fucking way,” Yoongi said with a shocked grin, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Seokjin quickly catching on, leaving Jeongguk alone in his confusion.
Reaching into your bag, you pulled out Jimin’s shirt, holding it out to him. “I personally like the donut boobs, but here,” you handed your now boyfriend his own shirt, making him smile as he whispered out a soft and bashful ‘thank you’. “So, this morning you promised me a sneak peak of this new song…”
Jimin pulled you into a hug, giggles slipping out of his mouth as he kissed your temple. “You’re unbelievable,” he whispered into your hair, leading you across the room to the stereo to follow through on his promise.
As Jeongguk watched you and Jimin giggle in each other’s embrace, realization made it’s way to his face, his eyes nearly bulging out of his head, thoroughy shook.
“Th-they had—they hooked— y/n and Jimin are—“ he stuttered to his members as his mind comprehended the news. With big innocent eyes, he finally sputtered out, “She’s donut boobs?!”

Don’t Go To Bed Angry
Hi Anna ( @jaspertown ),
Here is your fic gift. Luckily you like ‘lovey-dovey’ since it is pretty much impossible for me to keep the fluffiness off the page whenever I come up with a story about these two characters. I hope you like this Future Fic about Oliver and Felicity’s family at the holidays. There is a bit of conflict at the start, but we do need a reason (somewhat contrived) for them to kiss and makeup by the end.
All the best to you and your family. Merry Christmas!
@laureningall (Lauren)
Rating: T - No warnings
Summary:  A last minute change in plans leads to some sharp words between our happy couple. A few days apart leaves plenty of time for each of them to regret their words. Will Oliver be able to keep his promise never to miss a family holiday?
Characters: Oliver Queen, Felicity Smoak, Future Smoak-Queen children, William Clayton, Donna Smoak, Thea Queen (mentioned), Barry Allen (mentioned).

Wednesday Morning - Star City
On the surface, this day appeared to be just like any other day in the Smoak-Queen household. The morning was filled with sleepy children, hasty breakfasts, and periodic nagging - they were always on a very tight schedule. Felicity just could not focus due to the discussion, well, argument if she was being truly honest with herself, that marked the start of her day.
She had just stepped out of the shower to see a rolling suitcase open on their bed. Oliver returned from the closet to drop a garment bag alongside.
“Going somewhere?”
Oliver looked up at her, “yes, I just got the call. Ruby is sick, high fever. Thea can’t make the Urban Renewal Conference in Central City. I need to go. We’ve worked too hard on the presentation to skip it. I’ll be back on Saturday.”
“But Friday is the first night of Hanukkah.”
“I know Felicity.”
“Can’t someone else go in Thea’s place?”
“Thea’s already contacted most of the staff. I have no choice. It’s December, vacations are already scheduled. The kids will just have to understand.’
“Oliver.”
“Felicity, please, I need to pack and get to the airport in less than an hour.”
“You promised when you took the position at the Foundation that you wouldn’t miss any important family events. You said you had staff for that…”
“Right, just like you said once you went back to work full-time that there would be no late nights. Last week you missed dinner three times.”
Regret settled into the pit of his stomach. He retreated to pull some other clothes out of his dresser.
“You know that was different. I told you in advance, its not the same. I’m disappointed in you Oliver, in a way I haven’t been in a very long time.“
Felicity turned on her heels to head back into the bathroom, pulling the door closed quite forcefully behind her.

Friday afternoon - Central City
“I’m disappointed in you Oliver, in a way I haven’t been in a very long time.”
Her words echoed in his head. They hadn’t had an argument this petty in their nearly dozen years of marriage. They vowed never to go to bed angry, but this was worse. He left town angry, right before the start of a family holiday, Hanukkah. So much for holiday spirit.
Oliver shifted in his chair in a vain attempt to find a comfortable position. His knee always bothered him when he sat for a long period of time. The presenter droned on about various urban renewal initiatives and the relative time for return on investment. There were still two more speakers before his turn to present the foundation’s initiative. After all these years he still disliked these gatherings. At least when he was Mayor of Star City he had staff to pay attention to all the details from the other presentations so he could focus solely on his own.
The worst part was that after his presentation he had to attend a networking dinner, alone. He leaned forward on the conference table and rubbed his temples. It was going to be a long night.

Friday evening - Star City
“Mom, is it time yet? My tablet says that the sun will set in exactly 6.75 minutes,”  announced the curly haired boy. He looked to his Mom and added, “is Dad back?”
“No sweetie, remember he won’t be back until tomorrow. But let’s wait a few minutes before we get started, okay.“
“Okay Mom, I can wait,” as he walked out of the kitchen.
A few minutes later Elizabeth made a grand entrance, gliding to a quick stop in her hot pink fuzzy socks.
“Beth, how many time have I told you not to run in here, especially in just your socks.”
“But Mom, I wasn’t running, I was sliding. These socks are the BEST for sliding. I’m practicing. Softball season will be here before you know it. “
“Is all your homework done?”
“Yup, done, well, mostly done. Can I at least pick out my candles?”
“Sure, then go get your brother and we can light the candles.”
Beth skipped to the bookshelves in the living room to grab their two silver menorahs. She carefully placed them in the center of the kitchen island.
“Tommy, come on and pick your candles, Mom said we could,” she yelled.  In a moment Tommy barreled into the kitchen to join his sister.
“Mom, get the matches.”
‘I’m coming, hang on just a sec kiddos.”
“Beth, why don’t you help your brother with his candles and the blessing,” said Felicity as she lit the bright blue candle in the center of her son’s menorah.
Tommy frowned, “but Mom, I can do it myself, and I’ve been practicing.”
“Okay, why don’t we all say the blessing together.”
Baruch ata Ado-noi Elo-heinu melech ha-olam, Asher kid-shanu bi-mitzvo-sav, Vi-tzee-vanu li-had-leek ner shel Hanukkah.
They each lit their first candle and then replaced the shamash in the center of their menorahs.
“Well Beth, I think it’s time you slide on back to your homework.”
Beth rolled her eyes, “Geez Mom,” as she left the kitchen.
“I wish Dad was here,” said Tommy as he snuggled into his Mother’s side for a hug.
Felicity pulled him close, “I do too, but he’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Yes! Do you think he’ll make latkes for dinner?”
“You can ask him when he gets back, but remember he was going to make them on Sunday when we go over to Grandma Donna’s for lunch. After lunch we’ll go pick out our tree. William is coming. Can you wait until then?”
“I guess so.”
>>>>———————–>>
Felicity curled up on the couch and pulled the green afghan snugly around her body. She watched the reflection of the flickering candles in the windows that ran the length of the wall.
“Right, just like you said once you went back to work full-time that there would be no late nights.”
His words echoed in her head. There had been too many late nights, he was right. “If only I had had responded to just one of his texts or voicemails,”  she thought. Felicity knew it was way too late to call him now. “I’ll have to wait until tomorrow morning. So much for not going to bed angry,”  she pondered. This would be night number three.
Her attention turned as she heard a key turn in the lock.
Oliver emerged from the darkness as he entered the room, bathed in the fire light.
“I thought you weren’t going to be back until tomorrow.”
“Since I was in Central City I called Barry and asked for a huge favor. I asked him to run me home so I could grovel for my wife’s forgiveness and hopefully sleep in my own bed.”
Oliver took a few more steps toward the couch. He winced a bit and shifted his weight off his right leg.
“Is your knee bothering you again? I can ask Curtis to run some diagnostics on the implant tomorrow.”
“Felicity, it can wait. I’ve been waiting over two days to say I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry too, I shouldn’t have ignored your messages. I can’t believe how silly I was. Come on, sit down so you can rest that old knee of yours.”
Oliver slid onto the couch and Felicity pulled over the coffee table to allow him to prop up his leg. He smiled as she slid a throw pillow under his knee, “you’re too good to me.”
“Is this the beginning of the groveling Oliver? If it is I want to get comfortable, because you have quite a bit to do,” she laughed.
Oliver took Felicity’s hand. “I know I broke our cardinal rule to never miss a family holiday unless I am, and I quote, ‘in a coma, kidnapped, or trapped on an alternate earth.’ I’m hoping my very understanding wife, will let this one go, since I am home before the candles have burned out. Besides, there are still seven more nights of Hanukkah to go,” looking up at her with his best puppy-dog impression.
She grinned, “well, maybe I can let it go, just this once, since you are back, but you are so on the hook to make latkes for me and the kids tomorrow night for dinner.”
“I thought I was making those on Sunday over at your Mom’s?”
“You may have made it home before the candles are out, but the kids are already asleep, they really missed lighting the candles with you. But I’ll bet that one batch of latkes and you’ll be back in their good graces.”
She snuggled closer to his side and pulled his already loosened tie free from his neck.  “You were right you know, I have been spending too much at the office since I went back full-time. We agreed that if I went back to a full schedule that I’d also make family time a priority.”
“As much as I love hearing you say I was right,”
Felicity leaned in for a kiss. “Oliver, I missed you, and the kids are asleep.”
He shifted to face her and lifted his hand to caress her cheek. Felicity closed her eyes briefly and leaned into his hand.
“Do you remember our first Hanukkah together?”
Eyes still closed Felicity broke into a wide grin and nodded, “Mhmm, I remember.”

December 12, 2017 - First night of Hanukkah
“Felicity, Oliver and William, this was great. Let’s make it a new tradition. I’m so glad I could extend my visit through the beginning of Hanukkah.”
“Definitely Donna, we can host next year, and I’ll cook. Do you have any secret family recipes to share?”
Donna smiled, “I may be able to find a few, but gosh knows, I’ve never made any myself. What are you guys doing tonight?.”
“Tonight, Mom, nothing really.”
“Well do you think William would want to hang out with me for awhile, maybe spend the night. I’d love to spend some extra time with him?”
“Mom, maybe another time. It’s been a long day and William might have some homework to finish.”
“Nope Felicity. I’m all caught up on my homework. Dad, can I go?” asked William expectantly.
“Come on Oliver, we’ll have fun, and,” Donna dropped her voice a bit as she leaned towards the couple, “I bet the newlyweds could use some more time alone, right.”
“Mom,” glared Felicity, a strong blush rising across her cheeks.
Oliver squeezed her hand beneath the table. “Donna, that would be great, ride back with us and William can grab a few things.”
William rose from the table and headed over to link arms with Donna as they headed out of the restaurant.
“Hey, are you okay?”
“When will my mother stop embarrassing me, never obviously.”
“You’re blushing, it’s cute,” as he leaned in to kiss her cheek.
Within seconds of the saying goodbye to Donna and William, the door was shut and Oliver took three giant strides to reach Felicity’s side. Next his hands were around her waist. Felicity wound her hands around his neck to pull him closer. He walked them backwards to the couch and in a well-practiced move he spun them around so that he landed on the couch pulling her right along with him.
“Oliver, wait, shouldn’t we…”
“go to the bedroom… “
“What about Raisa, won’t she be stopping…”
“Nope, I texted her on the way over, told her William was staying with Donna tonight.”
“Oh…”
>>>>———————–>>
Beth peered over the railing across the loft that overlooked the living room. Even though the room was only lit by firelight, she could see her parents huddled close together on the couch.
“Is Dad back?” whispered Tommy.
“Shhh Tommy, be quiet, yes, Dad is home, but he didn’t come up to check up on us yet.”
Tommy moved closer to peek through the railing. “What are they doing?” he asked his sister.
Beth put a finger to his lips in an attempt to silence her curious brother. “Grown up things Tommy. I think this is the perfect time to look for Christmas presents in the hall closet,” she whispered. “Stay quiet come on.”
He looked down into the living room again. His Mom was laughing, and then he saw his Dad grab her and push her down under him on the couch. Beth had already begun to crawl down hallway, anxious to search for the gifts that were likely hidden in the closet, but her brother grabbed her foot to stop her progress.
Tommy was quite confused about what he was saw unfolding on the living room couch. He forgot Beth’s warning to be quiet.
“Why is Dad squishing Mom like that?”
Beth froze, pleading with the universe that her parents hadn’t heard her brother’s question.
Oliver moved off of Felicity and lifted his eyes to the balcony above, “Elizabeth, Thomas, we can hear you, what are you doing up?”
“Your Dad will be up to tuck you in and say goodnight in a minute - back to bed both of you,” added Felicity.
“Jeez Dad, you and your super-ninja hearing,” announced Beth as she pulled Tommy to his feet and pushed him down the hallway toward their bedrooms.
“Well, so much for the kids being asleep, it’s probably for the best, your hearing may still be ninja-like, but your knee not so much,” said Felicity as she patted his knee and rose from the couch.
He moved quickly to join her at the foot of the stairs. “I’ll just be a minute tucking the kids in and then I’ll show you just how ninja-like I still am.”
Felicity smiled and planted a quick kiss to his lips before heading upstairs. Oliver was glad they wouldn’t be spending another night apart. Arguments did happen from time to time, but they were always resolved. If he was being honest, he would probably admit that he looked forward to the occasional argument, especially when it would be followed by making up. That never got old.

Notes:
I know there are multiple candle blessings for Hanukkah - but the one listed in the the story is the one we do in our house. Hanukkah is a great family holiday - it is soothing to watch the candles burn - you can make yummy latkes (basically fried potatoes) - and play dreidel (yes, a game of chance).  Some years it gets hectic at our house when Hanukkah and Christmas overlap since we celebrate both holidays. The shamash is the ‘helper’ candle. It is lit first and is used to light the other candles.
Translation of the Hanukkah candle blessing: Blessed are You, the Lord our God, King of the universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to kindle the Hanukkah light.
Happy Holidays to everyone!
