that poll is making me absolutely insane. back when I had a tiktok I made a post about how you should be careful of cultural appropriation when making OCs based around angels from Jewish folklore and 50% of the responses I got were "wow I didn't know Ophanim and Seraphim were Jewish" (around 50% of those thought they were Christian) and the other 50% were saying "shut the fuck up I can do whatever I want also no they're not"

Like. please. tell me what Seraph means. Tell me what Ophan means. In what text did these words originate. Who wrote that text. Who was it written for
