thankyou so much for asking!

Instead of running a Detective Agency, Vector, Espio and Charmy are in a band together called Chaotix! It's mostly for fun, because none of them are very good at it. The three of them are pretty much a family, each other's ride or dies. Thick as thieves.
Espio, taking Amy's place, is actually pretty important!
Tumblr media
As an aspiring ninja, he finds himself on Little Planet in hopes of training there over the month, only to find that it has been taken over and chained to the mountain by Robotnik. Despite his skill, he is captured by Robotnik, and eventually saved by Shadow. It's at this point that he's inspired to improve, not just to become a strong ninja, but also to pay back Shadow for saving him. He reckons he has lots to learn from the hedgehog- his affinity for wielding Chaos energy is impressive, after all.
Tumblr media
At a later date, Espio meets a blue flicky with a green locket and, as good at names as he is at poetry, calls it Birdie. Recognizing that the flicky is in trouble with Eggman, decides to protect it. Shadow doesn't have time to look after lost flickies, after all.
(Eventually, the two break onto the Egg Fortress, and are able to escape. Espio does help destroy Gamma, but is careful with the flicky inside it, freeing it, and helping it free the rest of its family.)
Tumblr media
As both Espio and Shadow take their freedom-fighting seriously, his talk with Sonic aboard the Ark goes very differently. Sonic may feel guilty for his involvement in helping Eggman, who Sonic considered family, fulfill his goals to collect the Chaos Emeralds, that doesn't mean he can just mope around and let everyone else fix his mistakes. He may have been betrayed by the only blood family he had left, but the family he's found, particularly Tails, need him to help save the day.
Espio is kind of one of the only people who will tell it to Sonic straight. Shadow doesn't have the patience Sonic's theatrics on a good day and Tails is a little too lenient with him. Surprisingly, Sonic appreciates Espio a lot.
Tumblr media
As for Team Rose, technically they're Team Big! Big runs the Big Detective Agency with Amy Rose and their protege Cream the Rabbit. With Big and Vanilla being close friends, Big is somewhat of an uncle to her.
(Somewhat irrelevant, but Cheese is swapped with Chocola, if only because brown chao cute. Froggy is Froggy but with a detective hat! because he deserves it!)
Tumblr media
Sonic thinks they're neat.

Into, Across and Beyond! Cast: Superstars Amy
Origin: Sonic Superstars Replaces: Anna-May Parker / Spiderling
Tumblr media
"It doesn't matter what challenges they try to slow me down with, for I'm ready to give it my all to save any dimension! You can count on me to do it right!"
Another iteration of Amy Rose herself, this time from a familiar voyage to the North Star Islands. Though of course, it stretches quite past that.
Her tale begins just as you'd expect; while enjoying time over at Green Hill Zone, she caught sight of Sonic and Tails flying by in the Tornado after Fang the Hunter, and knew this was the call for another adventure. She followed them straight to Bridge Island, where she discovered the usual heinous plan on Robotnik's part to enslave the island's critters.
Things went just as you'd expect for the first couple of zones, with Fang and Trip trying to interfere with the team's actions while they sent ol' Eggy up and packing each time. However, when they got to Sky Temple Zone, the team had to split up to cover more ground in the huge area, which soon led to Amy getting pulled into a portal generated by Hellsin.
She found herself in an altered version of Hill Top Zone, where Hellsin attempted to kill her using the lava within the mountain, alongside his own attempts to make her fall. However, thanks to a unique ring she found, she could neutralise him long enough to make her first escape.
As it happened, she wasn't alone in having been pulled into this world. She was also joined by five other girls; the Sonic X counterpart of Cream, Sally Acorn from Sonic SatAM, Tiara's Sonic X-Treme self, the Honey the Cat native to the universe, and OMT!Mina. All six of them had the common goal of getting back to their home universes and stopping Hellsin to ensure he couldn't continue his reign of terror.
Tumblr media
(X!Cream sprite by FroggyMudd, SAT!Sally sprite by E-122-Psi, XT!Tiara sprite by AkumaTh, and DΩ!Honey sprite by Xeric)
However, when they reached the depths of Hidden Palace Zone, Hellsin caught them by surprise and warped them all to differing realms he had summoned, each with their own themes that they had to escape from.
X!Cream wound up in a sub-universe known as Asymmetry Acres Zone, a land based on all the crazy memes that are abound in the Sonic community. Compared to the other girls, she got it off easiest.
SAT!Sally found herself in Deception Depths Zone, a world reflecting some of the more classic Sonic creepypastas outside of Sonic.exe. With some of the cases, like Cyber City and A Frozen Trap, she found herself sympathising for the victims of those troubles.
DΩ!Honey uncovered Fearful Folly Zone, a land with iterations of the more classic Sonic.exe entities that she had to survive.
OMT!Mina ended up in the Crazy Creations Zone, with numerous YouTube-based Sonic works showing up in those lands. Some goofy, like the Hues of Metal or Scamic, and some an absolute mess, like Secret History Tails.
XT!Tiara fell into Analog Abyss Zone, also known as the world where Sonath resided. It took her wits and a little help from a replica of James (the victim of Lost Cartridge's first season) to escape.
And finally, SS!Amy was in Terror Towers Zone, based on the more recent Sonic creepypastas and horrorbrews from the New 20s; examples including Fatal Error (who's still so big a threat that a mass protection system is keeping him out of Sonic worlds until there's a definitive way to stop him), Eclipse and a new iteration of 2017 X.
Of course, one of her encounters before she escaped would change a lot later on. Whilst traversing through a parallel Hidden Palace Zone, she encountered an alternate Sonic standing on one of the crystals, who soon revealed himself to be none other than Crimtake before smashing through the crystal into the tube below.
Tumblr media
SS!Amy pursued the killer hedgehog, knowing she had to fight off at least one of those freaks before her escape was available. She eventually cornered Crimtake in an altered Wing Fortress Zone, and the two engaged in direct combat. Needless to say, she lasted MUCH longer than the Amy who perished to Crimtake beforehand did.
Tumblr media
Eventually, Crimtake was forced to retreat, making a leap out of the airship to continue his killing spree off-screen whilst Amy left. And after the six girls banded together to overpower Hellsin and restore the world he tarnished, they all returned home safely.
That said, the whole multiverse crossover did set off Lost Memory Sonic's ire, since it now left opportunities open for foes from different universes to end up in the wrong universe, and he felt angry at having to be part of cleaning up the mess before, in his words, "time and space collapsed".
Once Amy returned home, she arrived at Lagoon City Zone, which was full of giant fruits to get past with her hammer. She even retrieved a small apple from her entry, holding onto it for a little later on if she needed it.
During her trek through, she found Trip sobbing alone in the tunnels, having fallen into one of her own traps just a few minutes prior. Amy was really quick to sympathise with her and offered to carry her back out. Once they were out, Amy shared her apple with Trip, fully accenting that this was just the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Trip even cleared a special route for Amy to take where the rest of Team Sonic couldn't access.
Once Team Sonic got to Golden Capital, Fang decided to steal all of the Chaos Emeralds for his uses, but was soon cornered by the team and Trip, who had finally had enough of his constant abuse. Once Fang's mech fell, Amy and Trip well and truly accented themselves as besties, and Trip could now call herself a member of Team Sonic, though she was shy on the first introduction.
With that, the five heroes worked together to continue after Robotnik and take down his space station, and a few hours after, they banded together to take on the Dark Dragon, who awoke of its own volition, and seal it inside a special gem found in Bridge Island, well and truly saving the day.
Tumblr media
Over the next few days, Trip's feelings began to grow for her new friends. She was most comfortable around Amy and Tails, and felt hilariously embarrassed by her universe's Mighty giving her lots of gifts and flirting with her. Amy was most happy to help guide Trip on a potential love life while they remained simply friends for now.
Some time later were the events of Into the Sonic-verse, when Trip ended up being pulled from the Superstars universe. This worried Amy immensely, which made her more relieved once she came back safe and sound, thanks to the efforts of the Blur Gang and a few Sonics from other worlds.
After sorting out Robotnik again in Press Factory, everyone had to flee before Dr. Finitevus erased the Superstars universe outright. Fortunately, they escaped safely, though Amy was deeply saddened at losing the home she loved. Fortunately, her friends were there to comfort her, and she made sure it was personal for Finitevus during the final encounter.
Once Finitevus was defeated, and the other villains gave themselves up (save for Scourge, who needed another pummelling), Superstars Team Sonic were welcome to stay in Dimension EV-2019, and both Amy and Trip were especially happy to have this as a new home for them both. They were essentially a non-timeline-damaging version of the classic cast. Errorverse Eggman must've had a headache from having another version of himself present all the time, though. XD
Trip felt very comfortable around her new Blur Gang friends and decided to stick around with them as the eighteenth member, whilst SS!Amy applied to be a member of the Quill Society to gain some new friends. She enjoyed hanging out with other Amys, and felt comfortable in the company of Milly, though her relationship with LM!Sonic was rough from the get-go, especially since him insulting Trip just earned him her frustrated scoffing and refusal to associate with him.
When Crimtake's threat returned in Many More Heroes, after the Chimera Virus broke loose from containment in Nega's base's destruction and corrupted a Powerless counterpart of Fleetway Sonic, LM!Amy and OMT!Mina were both dispatched to go after him and aim to capture him the second his power wore down. Whilst OMT!Mina spent some time with OMT!Tails, SS!Amy surprise-ambushed Crimtake, but just couldn't stop him from building his mini-energiser and increasing his strength.
The two continued their pursuit after Crimtake, arriving at Dimension BK-2009 while OMT!Tails secretly followed behind, knowing the hedgehog still had beef with him. They did their best to stop Crimtake, with a little help from BK!Amy and Pana Der Hejhog, but just couldn't stop his power boost in time, his energy levels now off the scales. While he escaped, the five worked together with BK!Sonic to help keep the surrounding area safe and avert what would've been BK!Amy's canon event.
Once they got back to Gust Planet, they began their tour of the place, which included a small visit to Sector 16; the prison area, where villains being prepared for a trip back to their dimensions were temporarily being held. Pana and SS!Amy had worked together to catch Speedy, being one of the interdimensional Emerl threats, who apparently tripped, if Speedy's comment is anything to go by.
Tumblr media
After the tour, and OMT!Tails and Barry working together to rat out LM!Sonic, SS!Amy met them at the meeting hall in Sector 3, where LM!Sonic was forced to reveal the reality of his canon event theory, AND the fact that OMT!Cream was scheduled to die at Crimtake's hands in the next 12 hours. SS!Amy was one of the first to jump on the call to stop this from happening, and accompanied OMT!Tails the whole way to the Transport Hub while evading LM!Sonic's insane fury.
Once they made it through, they got to where Crimtake currently was; Dimension ZONE-ANTI-1994, or Moebius, where OMT!Tails had been prior. The two took some time to breathe after the kid was under a lot of stress, and hugged it out to show they had each other's support. Alicia Acorn and Anti-Miles were on the scene as well, and both agreed to help stop Crimtake, the former out of sympathy for Tails's losses, and the latter reluctantly.
Tumblr media
Once they got to the depths of the tower that Crimtake was at, OMT!Tails and SS!Amy began their combined assault to stop the now-very powerful monster before he could escape again. And here, the Anti-counterparts of Sally and Tails sealed the chamber to stop Crimtake from slipping out, meaning he HAD to take them on.
Tumblr media
In this final encounter, Crimtake's fatal flaw came through; his belief that everybody was predictable. When he dared Tails to take the Chaos Emerald from the podium, he didn't expect him to refuse, as he had sworn an oath to NEVER use a Chaos Emerald to his advantage again. And Crimtake's bigger mistake was taunting SS!Amy about Trip, which got him a full-on battering from the business end of her hammer, which happened to be enough to burn out all that excess power.
Unfortunately, Crimtake was NOT planning to come quietly.
Tumblr media
He started overclocking his body as a self-destructive approach to finish the two young heroes once and for all, and while they survived, the attacks were enough to send OMT!Tails flying to Dimension BL-2017, whilst SS!Amy watched as Crimtake's body dissolved into nothing, his threat gone for good.
She returned back to Gust Planet where LM!Sonic was apprehended and banned from ever coming back to the Quill Society, and mentioned about what happened to EV!Sonic, alongside Trip, SS!Tails and SS!Mighty. You gotta hear what she said about Crimtake's fate, though:
SS!Amy: Sir, I did not murder Crimtake for insulting Trip like that. I simply healed him, but in reverse. UvU SS!Mighty (baffled): Amy, that's NOT helping! It's making Trip even more scared! SS!Amy (annoyed at Mighty): Well, what other way am I to explain it?! Trip (simply trying to defuse the argument while smiling sheepishly): Er, guys... SS!Mighty: Healing in reverse is basically saying you've got rid of his energy source! Trip (smiling): Erm... How about we have pancakes? SS!Amy (smiling too): Oh, sure! SS!Mighty: Hmph, fine. But make them strawberry-flavoured, because it really fits your pretty face~. ;) (Trip hides her face with her helmet in embarrassment) SS!Tails (snarking): Wow, what a real charmer you are there, Mighty. SS!Mighty: Save the sarcasm for later kid, I'm starving like a very hungry caterpillar. Trip: Don't worry, I'm on it! SS!Mighty: Make it snappy! I'm dying to bite into something sweet! Unless I'd like to do that with those precious lips of yours~. SS!Tails: (faceplams, finding that really corny) Oh, brother...
Afterwards, Trip made it a promise to help the Blur Gang track down OMT!Tails and bring him back to Gust Planet for safety, which SS!Amy was happy about. She also giggled when hearing about the side bet Mini Sonic and Mr. Needlemouse made during that time. Once OMT!Tails returned in Cosmic Discoveries, she learned about the early signs of him catching some of Crimtake's DNA and got him quickly cured to keep him from being corrupted like Powerless Sonic was.
Once that was sorted, they got a picnic sorted out in the gardens in Sector 24, where OMT!Tails and Blitz!Tails introduced Skye and Melody to the team and SS!Amy. SS!Amy was happy to meet them both, while SS!Tails was surprised at the thought of a version of himself being a dad. The last act I can recall SS!Amy doing for now is lending OMT!Tails one of her spare hammers to help him out against LM!Sonic in the finale, and the two have gone their separate ways for the time being.

Okay okay thanks :3
So for Team Heroes:
Sonic is autistic and has adhd, transfem and doesn't think much of her sexuality, she just falls for who she falls for in her mind.
Tails is also autistic, transfem, and a lesbian. She is Sonic's little sister and admires her a whole lot
Knuckles is autistic, but he doesn't know either about gender or sexuality so he just kinda is okay with being reffered to as anything.
Team Dark
Shadow is autistic and has ptsd, nonbinary but uses all pronouns, sometimes they present as femme, sometimes masc, and sometimes andro. She is bi.
Rouge is a cis woman but her gender has a lot of flavor, autism, she is a lesbian and normally hits on woman despite having many male admirers
Omega is a robot, that's it :3
Team Rose:
Amy is autistic and adhd, cis, she has some SERIOUS comphet but eventually realises that she can like both men but ALSO others, she is pan.
Cream doesn't think about anything at all except for cake, she is completely okay with any pronouns, very polite kid.
Big is Big, what more is there to say?
All very epic

ok so people wanted to hear my kingdom hearts au ideas so here goes
first off, this is building just on the keyblade weilder lore. maybe we could add disney stuff later but it’s mostly just keybladers
so i thought it’d be best for the storyline to start with knuckles. he lives on a relatively quiet world in his pretty small tribe. not sure if tikal is gonna be his big sis or his cousin but i’m gonna refer to her as “sister” for now. anyway we have the normal pachacamac drama but knuckles is SUPER close to his big sis. so when suddenly a metric fuckton of shadow creatures appear and kidnap her, he is obviously PISSED. follows after them and falls through a portal or two. he passes out and ends up in that nice tutorial world and after doing all that stuff he wakes up with the ability to summon a keyblade. he’s not super enthused about it, because he’d rather be punching things, and also he awakens in a confusing dark world all alone and desperately trying to find his sis. he does find out that the keyblades can kill the shadow-creatures tho so that’s nice
he eventually runs into a person to fight, only for that mysterious dude to convince him that it’s all the blue boi’s fault, sending him off in a portal to fight this dude named sonic. after trying to kill sonic a few times, he finally is like “bro. bro you’ve been tricked” and knuckles is like “oh shit u rite” and they team up
so knuckles is now on a traveling party with fellow keyblade weilders sonic and tails. sonic has the more traditional kingdom hearts story, as he tries to find his missing friends sally and shadow; the “heartless” creatures took sally away, and he and shadow were split up while trying to find her. tails is being trained by sonic as they travel, which is a bit hard bc sonic is also incredibly new at this keyblade shit. they’re all trying to learn this together while finding their besties
on the path, they end up with some more party members, but more importantly extremely-trained weilder amy rose, who is also looking for a kidnapped friend, her foster sister cream. the heartless tried to take her, too, and for a little bit her master locked her up to keep her from getting captured, but now amy has escaped and is furiously trying to kill as many heartless as she can until she gets cream back.
so at this point they’re all like “okay. there’s quite a lot of kidnapped girls here. what the hell is happening” and then shadow shows up and tries to fight sonic and then says some cryptic shit about “princesses of heart” and “the door to darkness” and all that jazz.
so it’s a fight to find the world where the lost girls are being held and figure out what’s going on before the heartless can get all seven princesses of heart. and they have a lot of heartless to work through, considering they’re all following them to try and kidnap amy

“Her Name”
(SHADAMY ONE-SHOT FAN FIC)
(1k~ words)
Summary: After Team Dark battles their way through the Egg Fleet, Shadow the Hedgehog reunites with a certain pink hedgehog. (Takes Place Between Team Dark and Team Rose Endings, But Before Final Story)
FanFiction.net Link
Ao3 Link
Also can read below:
Her Name
By ShadAmy Writer
“All this for what? Nothing!” Rouge shouted, as she approached her ebony teammate. “I might as well go look for that Master Emerald, since that irritating echidna is here.” She grumbled, as she began to turn and walk away.
A smirk appeared on Shadow’s face, as he crossed his arms. “Ha, something’s never change, do they?” He asked, before following behind his comrade. The events of his past were still unclear. There were large gaps in his memory, but he would get these gut feelings about those he was meeting that he could just tell were correct, whether it be for Rouge, or that blue hedgehog and his friends they had fought in the forest.
“What’re you saying?” Rouge looked over her shoulder, a grin on her face. “What else is a famous treasure hunter supposed to do?”
“I suppose you’re ri-” Their conversation was cut short by the sound of two pairs of footsteps rapidly clanging against the metal exterior of the ship. Before the two could even turn around, an azure blur ran past them, speaking to them in a familiar voice.
“Hey Shadow!” The blue hero shouted, as he sped to the opposite end of the ship.
Shadow gripped his fist tight. “That blue hedgehog.” He said to himself, as a smirk spread across his face. It’s a race he wants, huh? Shadow took a step forward, about to chase after his rival, but stopped as he felt Rouge tug on his arm. “Huh?”
“Shadow, look.” Rouge’s voice sounded uncharacteristically serious, only adding to the black hedgehog’s confusion. He soon realized that he was so excited by the possibility of a race that he didn’t think about the second set of footsteps. He turned his head, only to lock eyes with a pink hedgehog.
She stood there, almost frozen, mouth agape. As he turned towards her, she quickly moved her hand over her mouth. Her body quivered slightly, as she wrapped her free arm around her chest, seemingly attempting to stabilize herself. Shadow definitely recognized her, but like many others he was meeting for the first time again, he was having trouble placing a name. He felt something, but he couldn’t tell what that was either. All Shadow knew for certain was that it felt warm.
“S-Shadow?” The pink hedgehog finally spoke, her voice shaking terribly. Shadow’s eyes widened as she took a step towards them. The ebony hedgehog was no good at reading people’s emotions. The nuances of social interaction not only escaped him, but usually thoroughly disinterested him. For some reason though, his mind was racing trying to read her tone of voice. Was she scared? Sad? He couldn’t be sure. Had he hurt her in the past? If so, he wished he hadn’t. She spoke up once more, drawing his full attention. “You’re… alive?” That phrase was probably the last thing he had expected to hear. A confused look was plastered over Shadow’s face, as he turned his head to look at Rouge. The bat shrugged, letting her ears droop as an awkward smile appeared on her face. She hadn’t been exactly forthcoming with details regarding his past. She had promised that Eggman would provide him all the answers he needed, though the doctor appeared to be absent. Shadow turned his attention back to the pink hedgehog, who was still shaken.
“Of course I am.” Shadow finally said. He still had no clue exactly who she was or what she felt about him, so he opted to handle this the best way he knew. Through a cocky facade. “After all,” he spoke, running his hands over his quills. “I am the Ultimate Lifeform.” It was dead quiet for a moment. After what felt like an eternity of silence, Shadow heard the pink hedgehog begin to sniffle. The sniffles grew louder, until eventually the emerald-eyed hedgehog burst into tears. Shadow swallowed hard. Well, this could’ve been handled better, he thought to himself.
Much to his surprise however, the pink hedgehog burst into a run towards him. Shadow didn’t know what to do. Should he run away? That’s what the blue one did. Was that the correct move in this situation? Why was she running towards him if he made her cry? Shadow was so lost in his own thoughts, he didn’t realize she had already reached him. He inhaled sharply as he felt her arms wrap around him in a tight embrace. He heard his teammate let out a slight giggle. He found her laughing at him a little annoying, but at least it served as some type of indicator that what was happening was okay.
“I-I t-thought we’d never see you again!” The pink hedgehog stammered through her tears. Shadow slowly began to realize what these tears were. They were relief.
“Well, uh,” Shadow put his hands on her hips and moved her slightly away from him, so he could look her in her eyes. “I’m here now.” He said again, through a sly grin. He moved his hand to her face and wiped the tears from her eye. “So, no more tears, alright?”
The pink hedgehog sniffled once more, and nodded, releasing Shadow from her embrace. “So, how did you do it? How did you survive?”
“I-”
“We came here to ask Doctor Eggman the same thing.” Rouge said, cutting Shadow off.
“Doctor Eggman? What does he have to do with it?”
“I don’t know for sure.” Rouge shrugged. “All I know for sure is sleeping beauty here was in a pod in one of Eggman’s bases.”
“Hmph,” Shadow grunted loudly, displeased at the nickname. He went to cross his arms, but quickly found his hands being held by the pink hedgehog.
“Well, I’m glad you’re back.” She smiled sweetly at him. Shadow felt a warmth grow in his cheeks. After the long fight he and his team had gone through, attempting to make it through to the Egg Fleet, it felt nice to see someone who seemed happy to see him. “Does Sonic know you’re alive?”
“He-”
“Oh, of course he does!” She interrupted. “He just said ‘hi’. Oh, I’ve gotta introduce you to Big and Cream! They’ve heard tons about you!.”
“I-”
“I’ve got to take you around Station Square after all this is over. There’s so much for you to see! I can’t imagine missing fifty years of the world.” Shadow began to realize he wasn’t going to be able to get a word in. She could talk as fast as he could run. He felt a smirk spread across his face. He normally found this type of prattling an annoyance, but this was okay.
“Darling, I’m sure Shadow would love to join you on a trip around Station Square,” Rouge interjected, “but isn’t your hero getting away?” She gestured to the far end of the ship.
“Oh my gosh, I totally forgot!” She gave Shadow a quick hug before running off. “I’m sorry to leave like this, but I can’t let my Sonic get away! We’ll talk soon, okay?” She called over her shoulder as she raced out of sight.
Shadow lifted his arm and waved good-bye. Even after she was gone, he continued to stare in the direction she went. He eventually spoke. “Rouge…”
“Yes, hon?”
“What was her name?”
Rouge let out a slight chuckle. “That was Amy. Amy Rose.”
“Amy…” Shadow repeated under his breath. “I’ll remember that.”

domestic ship gaaaame - our boys david and patrick :)
Yay! Amy! Thank you! Of course, we have to start with them--our already super domestic, casually intimate boys!
who reaches out to new neighbors
Patrick, obviously. He has plenty of friends we don’t even know about. They’re probably on his baseball team or in community theater with him already. David Rose will make the coffee, and welcome them over in staggered intervals with a prearranged agenda, list of activities, and various failsafe measures in place in case the vibe doesn’t work or if Roland/Bob wants to come over.
who remembers to buy healthy food
who remembers to buy junk food
If they were both single, they would buy both for themselves. But because they’re married--David goes hard for the treats and Patrick does everything he can to make sure his beautiful husband stays alive for as long as possible.
who fixes the oven when it breaks
Patrick. David stands by and ogles/teases Patrick about not wanting to call Ronnie and ask for her help (which he will inevitably have to do because David is distracting).
who waters the plants/feeds their pet(s)
This one’s tough. I would definitely say Patrick, he’s much better at sticking to a schedule. Patrick will definitely create the schedule and assign David to certain times (that he will have to remind him about/check on). But David’s the one who buys Patrick plants when he wants to make his plant-dad husband feel better. And the cat likes David’s side of the couch better.
who wakes up earlier
Patrick. We all know that David doesn’t want to talk to anyone before 10am.
who makes the bed
Both. They’re both neat-nicks who luxuriate in a clean, organized, beautiful space. David might try to get out of it, except he likes the way he does the corners better than the way Patrick does them.
who makes the coffee
Patrick, because even though he mostly drinks tea, he gets up earlier and is a service top. But also, David had to teach him a few times to get it just right.
who burns breakfast
David, in the beginning. Patrick’s determined to teach him, though, and he eventually gets it. David is very motivated by good food. And after he learns how to make a really good quiche, a delicious scramble, and eggs benedict with fresh ingredients from their store, he has trouble justifying going to the cafe for overcooked scrambled eggs/french toast.
how do they let each other know they’re leaving the house
David: already on a tirade about something has to cut himself off to say, “anyway, I actually have to go now. See you later, honey! Love you!”
Patrick: looks all over the house to find David and when he does, gives him a soft kiss on the cheek/forehead/temple, “I’ll be back later. Love you.”
how do they greet each other when one of them gets home
Patrick and David, because of their lifestyle (a million projects going on at once) always have something in their arms that they have to put down. Then, when Patrick/David’s arms are free, he’ll go up to his husband for a smooch and a hug, and a “Hi, how was your day?”
who brings home little gifts like flowers/chocolates more often
David. He’s big into spontaneous gifts. He’ll bring home a treat from a meeting with a vendor, a plant from the store, a skincare/haircare product he wants Patrick to try, Patrick’s favorite ice cream... he’s a strong believer in treats.
who picks the movie for movie night
Historically, David. It’s one of the foundations of their relationships. Patrick’s a take-charge guy though and insists on picking every once in a while. It’s important to broaden David’s horizons. Even more often, though, he enjoys teasing David with movie picks that will horrify him and offend his sensibilities. “I know you’re just teasing, but I’m not watching 2012, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.”
their favorite kind of movie to watch
David: “all the rom-com ladies,” true crime documentaries, lush and sexy period dramas, female ensemble cast movies, most Steven Soderbergh movies and related
Patrick: emotional sporty ones, movie musicals, anything Tom Hanks does, documentaries about feats of human ingenuity, anything queer, biopics
who first suggests a pillow fort
Patrick. David doesn’t know what that is. Patrick shows him.
who builds the pillow fort
Patrick. David supervises and styles afterward.
who tries to distract the other during the movie
Oh jeez. It depends on the movie and circumstances. They’re both horny and they’re both trolls.
who falls asleep first
David’s more of a night owl, but once he gets to bed, he knocks out faster whereas Patrick stays up reading.
who is big spoon/little spoon
David, usually, is the little spoon because Patrick loves making his hubby happy. Sometimes, though, Patrick knows he deserves it and makes David be the big spoon. Sometimes they fight over it.

Yay! Thank you for playing.

Analyzing the IDW Sonic Issue #24 cover
Cause it actually gives us a pretty good insight on which characters will/allowed to appear in this series! (or at least I assume)
Ok so just to give some general context, Ian Flynn has said in a previous interview that classic era characters won’t appear. IDW Sonic, (at least for now, is strictly Modern Era)
So we can expect to not see these following characters in the IDW Sonic comic-verse for a good while.
Classic Versions of Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Eggman and Metal Sonic
Segasonic the Hedgehog (Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel)
Sonic the Fighters (Honey the Cat, Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Bear)
Sonic Triple Trouble (Fang the Sniper/Nack the Weasel)
Tails’ Sky Patrol (Carrotia, Focke-wulf, Bearenger, Witchcarter)
Sonic R (Metal Knuckles, Tails Doll)
Silver Sonic
Battle Kukku Empire (XV, Speedy and Doctor Fukurov)
Chaotix (Heavy and Bomb)
But in IDW Sonic Issue #3, Sonic mentions The Hooligans, so at the very least they can mention the existence of classic characters.
Tumblr media
But this restriction of characters does beg the questions though? What is and isn’t off limits in IDW Sonic?
Apart from Classic Universe, there are three other universes that come from the sonic games. Boom Universe, (though quite loosely-considered as a universe) Storybook Universe and (a more sketchy, loosely considered as a universe) Chronicles Universe.
In the case of Boom!Sonic, given the design of Sonic and the rest of the cast, we can outrule Sticks the Badger and Lyric from appearing, not sure if they’re allowed to reference them though.
In the case of Storybook!Sonic, they’re allowed to reference the storybook games (as shown in IDW Sonic Issue #16). However using characters such as Shahra and Merlina is also unclear (but I’d guess they won’t appear).
Tumblr media
In the case of Chronicles!Sonic, given the whole Ken Penders thing, I bet that Shade and the rest of the characters won’t even be given an allusion to.
Well how about one-off characters? Characters that appeared once or a few times in Sonic’s adventures?
Well, this is where this cover helps! See, as of the current issue, IDW Sonic Issue #22, a generous amount of characters has appeared.
The Main Cast (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy)
Returning Cast from Forces (Wisps, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Silver)
Antagonists from Forces (Eggman, Metal Sonic, Orbot, Cubot)
IDW exclusive new characters (Tangle, Whisper and her former Squad, Rough, Tumble, Jewel, Dr. Starline and others)
Returning cast not in Forces (Cream, Vanilla, Cheese, Chocola, Gemerl, Blaze, The Babylon Rouges (In a spin-off comic))
Returning Villains not in Forces (Zeti)
That’s almost everybody we see in this cover... except for a few characters.
That’s right, some previously unseen characters like Big the Cat, Froggy, and Marine the Raccoon of all characters, are seen again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Big’s case, it isn’t as jarring. He was bound to appear sometime, being apart of Team Rose, appearing in Sonic Adventure, his role in the Sonic games is far too big to skim over. In fact we actually may have an idea on where he is in the current arc. In IDW Sonic issue #22, page 5, we see a speech bubble, “Froggy?! Where are you?!”.
Tumblr media
While Big is not explicitly shown in the actual issue, he is most well known for this phrase and his love and concern for Froggy, his pet frog. This suggests he may be present in the Restoration HQ...
Tumblr media
... His fate, however, whether he got infected by the metal virus or not is undetermined.
Tumblr media
After scanning the room for people who has not been infected Gemerl stated that every one in there are already in different states of infection. So unless Big has somehow escaped (which to be honest, his character seems to be the type to pull surprises)...
Tumblr media
... Big is already infected and left behind with Vector, Charmy and Vanilla.
Now for Marine. Blaze originally came to Sonic’s dimension because she felt something was wrong.
Tumblr media
She is introduced to Tangle as a princess from another dimension who wields the Sol Emeralds. She eventually joins the fight against Neo Metal Sonic and taking back Angel Island.
Tumblr media
At the end of IDW Sonic Issue #12, she says her work is done and decides goes back to the Sol Dimension.
Tumblr media
In the Sonic 2019 Annual Issue, there is a story that involves Blaze visiting Silver’s Garden.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And according to David Mariotte, the 2019 issue takes between issues #12 and #15. So Blaze was still in Sonic’s universe until at most before the Metal Virus arc started.
Tumblr media
In the Metal Virus arc, Blaze is absent, most likely already having returned to the Sol Dimension. So with the appearance of Marine, does Blaze return back to Sonic’s dimension in this arc? Does she bring Marine along? Why?
And the presence of the Babylon Rogues and Jewel in the cover coupled with the solicitation description for IDW Sonic Issue #24:
“The Last One Out" As the Metal Virus spreads, Tangle's hometown of Spiral Hill Village stands as one of the last strongholds of the uninfected. Sonic, Tangle, and the remaining heroes of the Restoration make a stand, but will it be enough?
Tumblr media
And the fact that the last time the Rogues and Jewel were last seen was during the jewel heist at Mineral Museum suggests that they will appear there once more.
Does the appearance of Marine, who’s only appearance in the game series is Sonic Rush Adventure, and the Babylon Rogues, who only appeared in the Sonic Riders spin-off games, suggest that other one-off characters will reappear in this continuity? Like Tikal and Chaos from Adventure, Elise from 06 and Yacker from Colors?
Speculation:
Yeah remember when I said that Big is the type to pull surprises? I bet that in a later issue it will be revealed that Big got on the ship safely. However, Froggy is infected, Big, who cares for Froggy too much, couldn’t bare to leave him behind. I mean, that one throwaway dialogue could be a clue for what’s to come. He compromises the safety of the ship, spiraling the mood of the heroes down further. I think that someone of note is gonna get infected, other than Big. And that would send Cream’s mood to be even more desolate.
It can’t be Tails cause he’s working on the cure, he’s got plot protection cause he needs to bounce back from his mistake (dropping the cure, and it’s incomplete). Sonic is plot protected as well and Knuckles is on Angel Island. Espio needs to avenge the Chaotix so he has a flimsy plot shield. Tangle is needed because something is definitely gonna happen in Spiral Hill, where Jewel is currently in, so she’s protected.
I think it’s Amy. Just think about it, she’s one of the main 4, she’s the head of Restoration, she’s been doing so well, handling everything that comes at her, She is the face of the restoration and who many people rely on. She is Cream’s role model. And she promised Vanilla that she’d protect Cream. When you take her away, everything seems more hopeless and desolate, one of the main pillars of the sonic franchise has crumbled, and now the metal virus seems more dangerous than ever.
It can also be Whisper, Whisper and Tangle’s spinoff series ends exactly before issue #23 will come out. And in the spinoff, one of it’s main themes is the friendship that Whisper and Tangle have. They’ve become close to rely on each other. And as much as I hate to think it, Whisper may be “fridged” to boost Tangle’s desire to save her friends in issue #23. A setup for issue #24, where the metal virus goes to Spiral Hill, where Jewel is.
Now why am I mentioning Cream’s role here? Well it’s because Cream is the hidden star of this arc. Think about it. Charmy’s infection is the catalyst for Sonic to check up on Cream and her family. Gemerl’s main purpose is to protect Cream, and he is currently the protector of the uninfected, given that all other “protector” characters, are currently unavailable (Sonic is infected, Shadow has turned, Silver is busy, Blaze is not yet there, Omega is ripped, Vector is infected, Amy will soon turn). Chocola and Cheese, her friends, compromised Tails’s cure. Vanilla turned in front of her eyes. So many of the events are centered around Cream, and there will definitely be one more catalyst for her big role.
Enter Marine and Blaze. Cream is friends with Blaze, finding friendship with one another in Sonic Rush. And in the cover, we can see Cream holding hands with Marine. There will definitely be an interaction between the two of them considering that
All characters in the cover are posed in a way where all interactions have meaning. (Babylon Rogues are together, Chaotix are together, Dark are together, etc.) Why pose Cream and Marine like this when they’ve never interacted before?
Both are related to Blaze in a way, mayhaps a humorous introduction may happen between the two “Oh Hello Ms. Blaze!” “I’m her real bestfriend!” etc.
If Amy does turn, Cream, for once in her life will be alone, Amy is gone, Vanilla, Cream and Chocola have turned, and if I’m right, Big is already infected as well. Even the more minor friends she has like Sonic is infected, Tails is busy, Knuckles is MIA and Vector (Sonic Riders), has already turned. Blaze will be the only person left, a sister figure that Cream can cling onto.
And as a final catalyst, A few more people will get infected, whether it will be Tails, or Sonic or Blaze, I can’t guess. But what I will guess is that Cream will definitely have a big role in this arc’s ending.
Aurgh! I’m just so excited for the upcoming issues, and seeing this cover definitely made my brain churn!!

So, I just finished up my Forces AU. Here’s the entire cast:
Heroes:
Sonic the Hedgehog: Takes after his games self, is the wildcard and ‘The Hero’ of the Resistance. Best friends with Miles ‘Tails’ Prower and Amy Rose, and good friends with Ovi and the group of fighters. Is rather polite despite living with his uncle. Loves adventure, is terrified of being restrained by anything—this includes greedy billionaire sons and bratty princesses. Tries to be friends with everyone, but people like Antoine can get on his nerves. Descendant of Soundbreaker the Blue Ancient.
Miles ‘Tails’ Prower: Takes his Adventure self, where he wants to showcase to everyone that he too, can be a hero. Is ‘The Inventing Hero’ of the group. Is shy around new people, but is a brave soul. Can get scared sometimes, but is quite brave in fighting. Tends to overexplain certain things and can accidentally spill into when cornered. Best friends with Sonic, friends with everyone else. Descendant of Twist the Yellow Ancient.
Knuckles the Echidna: Takes after his Adventures/Sonic 3 self, where he’s a goof ball that’s able to think things through, but also a bit rough around the edges. Called ‘’The Guardian’ of the group, and is the main Resistance leader out of everyone. Is more of a ‘set traps, and wait’ kind of guy, which is why his plan—“Operation Big Wave”—ends up falling through. Is intelligent enough to understand that people need to be guided in these trying times. Descendant of the Red Ancient of the Knuckles Tribe.
Amy Rose: Takes after her Adventure Self, where she decides to win Sonic on her own merits. Loves adventure and sweets, and hopes that Sonic can see her as his most prominent friend. Is ‘The Heart’ of the group. At first, she didn’t like how Sally treated Sonic, but after Sally mellows down and she realizes why Sally act the way she does, they become good friends. Best friends with Cream. Friends with Sonia and Ovi, too. Descendant of Bloom the Pink Ancient.
Jullian ‘Ovi’ Kintobor: Is a lot younger than this Fleetway/Sonic Bible counterpart. Considered ‘The Runaway’ of the group. Loves being with members of his crew, and does not realize the importance of personal space. Will recognize it with Sally, whom he has a sitcom type enemy relationship with. When not trying to co-lead with Sally, tends to get lonely and will try to hug anyone who gets near him. Has a load of gadgets that allows him to keep up with Sonic and the rest of the group. Likes anyone in the group. Descendant of Knight the Orange Ancient. Replaces the Custom Hero.
Princess Sally Acorn: Takes on a modified version of her SatAM self. Is head strong and stubborn when she can be, which clashes with Ovi and Sonic at points. Her ability to lead is second to none, which helps that she’s a princess of the Acorn Kingdom. Is ‘The Princess’ of the group. Is not fast, but carries with her an advanced AI computer called ‘Nicole’ with her everywhere. Best friends with Bunnie, friends with Sonic, Tails and Sonia, and eventually becomes friends with Amy and Ovi. Likes Lewis. Descendant of King Alluminous the Auburn Ancient.
Bunnie Rickshaw: Takes on her Archie self. Was originally not robotomized, but became able to lift 5X her weight when Ovi and Sally managed to hack the machine she was in. Is brave despite it, and while she wishes to be not robotomized, prefers her powerful capabilities. Considered ‘The Weapon’ of the group. Best friends with Sally, and has an attraction to the swordsman Antoine. Also, friends with Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Ovi, and hopes everyone gets along soon.
Antoine DePasseur: The no-nonsense swordsman of the group. Uses his portrayal in Archie. Called ‘The Swordsman’ of the group. Tends to dislike Sonic and Ovi’s plans, and is usually the one to denounce them. In truth, can get easily spooked if you try hard enough to spook him. Likes Ovi, Sally, Sonia, and Amy, despises Manic and Sonic.
Rotor Aiviq (Eye-vick): Takes his post-reboot Archie form. Called ‘The Weapons Expert’ of the group. Formerly son of the Cheftian named Tundra Aiviq, he left his father when the man demanded perfection from him. Likes Ovi and Manic, and finds Tails to be the better inventor than himself. Tends to suffer from an inferiority complex, thanks to his upbringing. Also likes Sonic, Sonia, Amy, Sally, Bunnie, and Antoine. Best Friends with Lewis. Descendant of Flow, the Purple Ancient.
Lewis Porker: Takes his StC self. Called ‘The Voice’ of the group. Tends to be the shyest of the group, staying away from people like Ovi and Sonic. Has no combat experience, but makes up for it in being the ‘eyes to the sky’ for everyone. Prefers Sally and Amy’s gentle voices over the rest o the group, and considers Rotor his best friend.
Johnny ‘The Lightfoot’ Casey: Takes his StC self. Called ‘The Frontman’ of the group. The kindest of characters behind Sonic, and bares no ill grudge against anyone. Uses a bo-staff in battle, and tends to use energy kinesis to blast away anyone. Is the oldest of the group, and the literal grandpa watching over everyone.
Techno the Canary: Takes after her StC self. Called ‘The Researcher’ of the Group. Is more closeted than either Rotor or Porker, and tends to be dismissive when working on her projects. Will hang out with Amy, Sally, and Bunnie, and finds Nicole a fascinating computer does not get along with Sonia.
Shortfuse the Squirrel: Originally ‘Shorty’, Uses a modified version of his StC self. Once a thief that tried to mug Sonic and Tails, became a ‘participant’ for the Cybernik project by Grimer and Aperis to create a robot more powerful than the current Badniks using live Animayans for batteries. Instead, he became fused with the suit, and became far more powerful thanks to them. Lashes out at everything and is cynical, and has shouting matches with Bunnie with how they treat their condition. Is ‘The Cybernik’ of the group. In a will they won’t they with Techno.
Sonia the Hedgehog: ‘The Master of Stealth’ before Espio joins, and ‘The Elegant’ after, she’s one of three wealthy people that joined the Resistance out of her own violation. While she does not like dirt or messiness, Sonia eagerly joined when she found out that she could help them fight back. Is a huge fashionista, and loves Tails and Amy to bits. Descendant of Soundbreaker the Blue Ancient.
Manic the Hedgehog: Called “The Thief”, he’s the one person that’s able to enter and exit Dr. Eggman’s bases with all the stolen loot not even Ovi can afford. Major goofball despite his appearance, and is excellent with kids. Loves Tails to bits, but finds that Amy not in love with him is sad. Annoys Antoine for the heck of it. Descendant of Soundbreaker the Blue Ancient.
Shadow the Hedgehog: The Ultimate Lifeform, partner to Rouge and E-123 Omega in GUN, and the oldest known Resistance member (Johnny’s the second oldest). The edgiest of edgy that had ever edged (just don’t tell him that. He’s not too keen on being CALLED ‘edgy’). Likes kicking people’s butts and making sure they stay down. Tries to mentor Ovi, though he wonders if he’s trying too hard on that front. Is taken out just two months before Sonic and Ovi are.
Rouge the Bat: The Spy of the group, and the best thief all around Earth (don’t say that to Manic, though). Pesters Knuckles about his position, and demands that he try to act like a better leader. Likes jewels of all kinds, but would abandon them when there are more pressing matters at stake.
Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao: A young rabbit girl (and chao) who got caught in the war when trying to find her mum. Hates violence, and wants the war to end, but knows that fighting back is necessary for an edge to come through. Ends up fighting the big fight along with the rest of the group later. Friends with Amy and the girls, and good friends with the boys too.
Team Chaotix: Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy the Bee are the three detectives of the group, having been called in when Dr. Eggman had ended up wiping Sonic and Ovi off the face of Earth for 6 months. Vector is the brains of the group, directing everyone where they need to go; Espio is the ninja of the trio, and Charmy’s their mascot. Each one fights darn well for the circumstances. Vector tends to never leave his music behind; Espio’s a full-on ninja nerd, and Charmy’s the bratty kid.
E-123 Omega: A robot that formerly guarded Dr. Eggman’s ‘secret treasure’, before defecting to GUN because it hardly ever saw any line of work. The most no-nonsense of the group, nd the most trigger happy against anything deemed “Eggman-level threat”. Does not like his creator, Dr. Eggman.
Silver the Hedgehog: Telekinetic Hedgehog from 200 years into the future; having been brought back in time because his homes suddenly became ruinous. Wants to change it and make it right, founding the Resistance in the first place. Has a pretty tough time with Infinite and Cypress at first, eventually learns to fight back. Is not known whom he descends from, if at all.
Sticks the Badger: Uses the modified version of her Boom personality. Called ‘The Wild’, Sticks loves anything shiny and will instantly become friends with anyone who has shinies. Lives in the woods, and is highly fearful about learning anything more complicated than a calculator. Likes hanging out with the girls, and Allegro.
Perci the Bandicoot: From the Boom series, Perci is a kid from a family of bandicoots that defended Bygone Island for generations. However, the constant apathy of the villagers to her successes—to the point where it’s outright mocking—lead Perci to leave to find if she really wanted to defend her people or if they really cared. When the attack on the Kingdom of Acorn happened, she leapt up at the chance to defend it. Became fast friends with Sonia, and is called ‘The Scorned Hero’ by the group. Really likes fixing things, not necessary the builder. Descendant of Tyler the Lavender Ancient.
Lyre the Snake: A former mercenary turned hero when she found out about robotomization and the effects it can cause. While interested in the paycheck afterwards, Lyre isn’t keen on allowing injustice to occur on the planet, and will fight back if she has enough evidence. Called ‘The Turncoat’ of the group, which she objects to because ‘It’s Snake discrimination!’. Loves being loyal to people, even when they don’t trust her. Has a slight complex about her being a snake. Descendant of Lyric the Green Ancient.
Allegro the Dragon: No-one knows where this little dragoness came from, nor why she attached herself to Sonic, Sonia, and Manic. Only the medallions on their hoops can fully know for sure. In either case, Allegro gets along with everyone in the Resistance, and actually likes getting belly rubs. Called ‘The Guardian’ of the group, can become giant and protect anyone near her masters against anything that aims to harm. Makes ‘Gebwah’ noises when speaking. Will eat anything, including food that has become mouldy.
Villains:
Eggman Empire:
Dr. Eggman: The elderly man with a plan, the one who will rule the world and create Eggmanland. Grandson to Gerald Robotnik and second cousin to Maria, plans to branch off from Sypress and eventually take control. Has 300 IQ, and an obnoxious manchild with a narcissistic streak.
Aperis: A robot created by Dr. Eggman as his thesis project, and one of his most prized models. While not a fighter, Aperis is the baseline model for the Project Sonic series robots, and has been very active in making sure that they’re all obedient to the Dr. Not too keen on the more rushed out models (Badniks and the Egg Pawns), but has a soft spot for those Dr. Eggman creates by hand (E-Series, Omega too). Like his master, despises Sonic. Also despises Orbot and Cubot, but only because they were his first and second final projects for Dr. Eggman’s classes.
Orbot and Cubot: Two robots that work for Dr. Eggman. While both are the comedy duo, Orbot knows when to shut up. After Dr. Eggman reprogrammed them so that they wouldn’t snark and point out his failures, they’ve been making sure most of Dr. Eggman’s bases are spick and span and taking care of the Dr. Orbot is the straight man of the two, while Cubot is the dolt.
Egg Bosses: The dozen of high commanders under Eggman’s control, each commander commands over a specific region on Earth: northern oceans, southern oceans, North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Oceania, the Poles, Africa, the Skies, and the magical.
Metal Sonic: Dr. Eggman’s ultimate Anti-Speedster weapon, made to be able to chase after Sonic without exploding for too long. Wants to become the true Sonic, making this robot the most wildcard of Eggman’s troops. Eventually breaks off to become Sonic through his own means.
E-Series: Dr. Eggman’s elite soldiers, each one hand-crafted and engineered to command a specific type of fleet. When Sonic Heroes rolls around, the Doctor eventually scraps the project when too many of his elite turn on him. At least Aperis hasn’t turned on him yet, nor Project Sonic…
Infinite: Dr. Eggman’s newest right-hand man. A former jackal mercenary of the Jackal Squad turned robot, wants to see the world in ruin like he saw with the Phantom Ruby. Becomes overly cocky and edgy over time, thanks to his crew’s defeat at the hands of Shadow and his own defeat. It isn’t until he gets Sonic down and Ovi traumatized that Infinite becomes overly obnoxious and a bully. Tries to break free like Metal Sonic did, but fails.
Cypress: A time traveler 200 years displaced; wants to see the Eggman Empire come to fruition in it’s prime. Does not get along with Infinite, and is more level-headed than the two. Eventually must run back to her present, bringing Silver along with her. Looks oddly like Maria, even though she’s been dead for 50 years. Likes Dr. Eggman, and would do nothing more than to make him happy.
The Pack:
Sleet the Wolf: The main Bounty Hunter, and the leader of the Pack. Hates Infinite to an absurd degree, because of the brat’s sadism over competence. Cunning and sly, he’s the one holding the group together after kicking Infinite out. Nearly gets killed by Infinite for kicking him out of the pack.
Dingo the Dingo: Nobody knows where he came from, nor what’s his real name. Even the Pack themselves don’t know what he is. A ferocious beast able to take on multiple forms, seems to have some sort of connection to Ovi. Pretends to be stupid for the sake of it, wants the Phantom Ruby to revive his people.
Medjed the Jackal: Formerly part of the Jackal Squad, became the go-to tech expert when his former partners were kicked out of the mercenary group The Pack. Tends to look half asleep, in truth the best computer hacker in the world. Is usually grumpy, but wistful about Infinite.
Nichi the Coyote: A blacksmith from Japan that became a mercenary when his business was hit with hard times. A master of all types of weapons, Nichi knows the way of the sword and is callous to the point of nearly killing Sonic when he’s on his side. Not someone you’d want to cross. Usually calm unless pissed off.
Callie the Ethiopian Wolf: A young female who joined the Pack because of Sleet, whom she likes. Is excited for fighting Infnite in his new form. Likes to fight in general, and doesn’t buy that he’s—well, invincible. Likes to fight people taller than her.
Mac the Jack Russel Terrier: A tiny man who wants to snipe as many as he could get. A Former GUN agent that got fired for his excessive use of ‘shoot first, ask questions later’. Likes the sounds that a gun makes, and hopes to one day snag the Fastest Thing Alive with a gun.
Other:
GUN: The United Federation’s own command force, lead by Commander Towers. They sent Shadow, Rouge, and Omega into enemy territory earlier, before having to transport non-combatant humans and animayans away from the fighting.
King Nigel Acorn: The king of the Acorn Kingdom, and Sally’s father. Tries to fight against Eggman, only to end up in Null Space thanks to Infinite blindsiding him.
Aleena the Hedgehog: Former hero of the world, now someone the Resistance relies on for plan making. Oddly, she seems to look at Sonic, Sonia, and Manic oddly…
Slipstream the Hedgehog: Husband to Aleena, and the cockiest hedgehog in town. Seems to have the same look for Sonic, Sonia and Manic like Aleena does.
Harold Kintobor: Father to Ovi and the CEO of Knight Tech. Pays GUN, Eggman, and The Pack to find his son, accidentally giving Dr. Eggman enough funds to plan his takeover of the world.
The Phantom Ruby: A gem misplaced in space, which instantly disabled the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald with it’s powers. Able to conjure reality-warping illusions, and can jump anyone within range to other locations instantly. Like the Master Emerald, there seems to be something inside it…

Random Sonic Forces headcanons
Cream, Vanilla, and Gemerl are part of the Resistance, they just weren’t shown onscreen. Cream and Vanilla are medics in the army, so they stay off the frontlines. Vanilla especially forbid Cream from fighting on the battlefield. Gemerl is one of the troops, he just was fighting offscreen with Espio.
Blaze was caught up in her own dimension shenanigans along with Marine and that’s why she wasn’t in Forces.
The Resistance didn’t track down and use the Chaos Emeralds due to how long it would take to find them as well as not having enough resources to spare in finding them. Besides that only 5 people total in the world are capable of even accessing their powers and only one of them (Silver) was physically and mentally capable of fighting and using them. (Sonic being captured/presumed dead, Knuckles currently being commander, Tails in the middle of a breakdown, Shadow appearing to be on the side of the enemy.) Plus trying to locate them might have drawn the attention of Eggman, who has more resources and manpower to track them down and they didn’t want to give Eggman another advantage besides the Phantom Ruby.
Sonic was in charge of a team of troops named the “Swifts” or “Sonic’s Swifts” made of the fastest and agile in the army who got their name by making quick, smash and grab moves and tactics. He’s sorta a father/big brother figure to them.
Angel Island is one of the Resistance's headquarters and best defended locations. Many refugees were taking shelter there during the war. It was a last resort location to retreat to should Eggman crush all of the other bases.
Sonic’s torture consisted of copious amounts of waterboarding and electrical torture, besides just being left in a cramped cell alone, for months on end.
Silver was the second in command of the Resistance.
GUN was heavily demolished in the time skip after Sonic’s capture. They were caught off guard and did try to preemptively stop Eggman afterwards, but failed. The few remnants left work in tandem with the Resistance, with Rouge (and later Shadow) as their liaison.
The Resistance has both humans and anthros in its ranks.
Fang the Sniper was hired by Eggman during the war to be his go-to assassin, paid handsomely to shoot down any high ranking Resistance members.
Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Polar Bear were helpers of the Resistance. Bean even became their main expert on explosives and munitions.
The Babylon Rogues semi-worked for the Resistance as couriers/scouts, using their Extreme Gear, to dodge, evade, and briskly deliver information back to base. They didn’t like Eggman taking over the world and obviously didn’t want to become robot slaves in his empire, but they weren’t super patriotic about the Resistance and were mostly in it for themselves.
The ships the Resistance uses were actually stolen from Eggman’s fleet and repainted.
Infinite’s real name is Zero.
The Battle Kukku Empire fought against Eggman for awhile before being forced to surrender. The Great Battle Kukku XV arranged a pact of surrender with the doctor and agreed to supply his soldiers and forces to fight in the Empire in exchange for not being robotomized and keeping their free will. Speedy worked secretly as a mole for the Resistance, smuggling information to them during this time, hoping his onetime rival Tails would receive it and help free his people and country.
There were other robot designs used in the war, we just didn’t see them.
Metal Sonic was actually involved in the war, the times we saw him just happened to be the illusion copies.
All of the Deadly Six are dead. Chaos is also still “dead”, having ascended to the afterlife with Tikal at the end of SA1.
Honey the Cat worked with Amy in communications trying to give hope to the world’s and Resistance’s discouraged masses. Together they created “Radio Free Rose”, the voice of the Resistance for anyone to tune into for survival advice and directions to the nearest Resistance refugee camps.
Witchcart and her minions, Bearenger, Focke, and Carrotia were in Eggman’s Empire as part of his Egg Fleet.
Eggman and Infinite’s final plan for the destruction for the Resistance was called “Operation Sunny Side Down”.
Eggman’s army had humans and anthros besides the illusion copies.
Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel were Resistance members, both fighting on the frontline as well as providing aid to the many camps for refugees fleeing Eggman occupation.
Many wisps joined the Resistance freely to provide their power to the Wsipons, but some were forcibly captured and extracted of energy to give ammo to the wispons. Some Wisps were even forcibly corrupted into Void Wisps to produce the requisite energy for the Void wispon. A dark secret many higher ups in the Resistance try to ignore or hide out of shame.
There are other Wispons besides Burst, Lightning, Cube, Void, Hover, White, Drill, and Asteroid. We just don’t see them since the other Resistance members are using them.
There was an offscreen fight between Sonic and Infinite where Infinite pulled out his sword (called the “Forever Edge”) and attacked Sonic with it in a sword fight to the death. Sonic barely manages to survive it and escape using his sword fighting skills he gained from the Arthurian legends. .
All of the other species in the concept art were involved in the war, including the dragons. We just didn’t play as them.
The Avatar (or at least Buddy/Gadget) was born and raised in Sunset Heights/”the City”.
Eggman Nega is the ruler of the world in the far future, Ivo Robotnik having made a dynasty of the Robotnik family line. This is one of the reasons why Silver travels back in time.
Shadow is now pretty widely hated and has bad publicity in the world due to the copies of him being seen causing havoc in the world for 6 months.
The Post-Forces section:
The war for the planet would go down in history as either the “Egg War”, or the “Phantom War” .The battle that finally took down Infinite and Eggman in the Eggman Empire Fortress outside the Imperial Tower is called “The Battle of Mortar Canyon”
There is a manhunt for Eggman and Infinite after the war which every government in the world is a part of. Though they’re probably hiding out in a remote cave somewhere in Shamar, or at least Eggman is.
Besides going out to see the world as per usual, Sonic also left to search out and help rebuild other settlements across the globe. Part of this is an attempt to keep his mind preoccupied and off the crushing sense of guilt for all of this happening in the first place from not being able to stop Eggman and Infinite the first time as well as serving as an escape from his mental traumas from the war/his time as a POW.
Therapy. Lots and lots of therapy happens for those involved in the war. Sonic tries to ignore his mental trauma and hide his issues from the rest but they know better and basically drag him kicking and screaming to group talks among themselves on how to deal with everything they’ve seen and faced and how to deal with them in a healthy way to start healing. He eventually appreciates them doing this and how much they care about his physical and mental health although he never outright tells them so.
The field of robotics takes a huge blow in reception to the public due to what Eggman did and many now choose different fields of study and research while the people in the field are now looked at with suspicion towards them and their creations.
The top brass of the Resistance receive medals of honor after the war, along with several soldiers who went above and beyond the call of duty.

Note
The problem is Blaze is inconsistent with the traits she has, and what little we're given about her that makes her interesting is immediately tossed out the window to make it seem like a 'growth', when it's just making her bland. Take, for example, Amy Rose - She's kindhearted, friendly, and determined, yet those can be played as serious flaws to her as well: Sonic Adventure, Battle, and Riders showcased her determination can be used to immediately boss around Sonic, get her into danger by over-doing something, and lead her to get kidnapped when she's only trying to stop Eggman without much thought other than 'I must stop Eggman!'. Her kindness in Adventure 2 made her be left behind by the others, causing her to fuss and rant until Eggman found her and pointed a gun to her head. And her friendliness with Gamma could have had serious consequences if she was wrong about Gamma's kind heart. These traits also factored into her leadership with Team Rose, helping to keep Big and Cream on track to find their missing friends, and eventually end up helping Sonic along the way.
Blaze, on the other hand? She has a fear of heights... which doesn't factor into gameplay at all with her, and she can preform high-flying acrobatic feats just as smoothly as Sonic. She can't cook... when cooking's never really been a part of the series in general, and doesn't factor into much. She hates people pointing out her chest size... when beyond being a reference to her voice actresses past vocal work, doesn't really play into anything in the franchise, as it's meant for young kids. Blaze also knows how to build radio towers... which comes out of nowhere in Rush Adventure, and is only addressed for when Sonic, Tails, Marine, and Blaze needed a radio tower on South Island.
Really, the only other traits that Blaze has that makes her even remotely endearing is... She's a loner due to the nature of her status as the Emperor's Daughter Princess, and that she's a bit set in her ways... both of those traits are gone after Rush is completed.
I don’t dislike Blaze but I feel like she’s kinda overrated :/ Like at surface value she’s seen as a cool kickass character but after some thinking she lacks…. Idk how to word it but I suppose an example would be at a surface Amy is seen as “annoying” or Rouge is “slutty” but thinking it over there’s alot of value in both characters that Blaze just lacks that. I feel it’s people’s superficial viewpoint.
One of the main problems about Blaze, beyond the whole 'there's no real flaw to her character', is that she's one of the most inconsistent characters out of all the Sonic girls. Sure, like you said about Amy and Rouge, they can be perceived in ways that Blaze isn't. But I feel you can apply that to any other Sonic female character and get more depth out of them than Blaze, simply because she's so inconsistent.
Cream is 'a kid', Wave is 'haughty and thinks highly of herself', Tikal is 'stubborn and cynical', Rouge is 'for the looks and greedy', Marine is 'rambunctious with wanderlust', and Amy is 'annoying and a bit pushy'. Blaze doesn't have a trait that makes her fleshed out. In Rush, she's 'withdrawn', but that eventually gets dropped after spending time with Cream and Sonic. In Rush Adventure, she's 'controlling', but that's often in response to Marine 'effing up'.
At the end of the day, Blaze sadly doesn't have enough traits to make her as interesting a character as the rest of the cast.

amy rose kin memories~
so i think my main amy canon is some kind of Boom and Heros mashup of some kind
For a while my canon was very similar to boom in the kinda goofy, fun, adventures kind of way
one major exception is i never really had a crush on sonic; it was solely platonic. we were actually really close friends for years, and we slowly got more distant and i like, panicked, and i guess overcompensated for that? so i still acted like canon-amy but it was still platonic
over the course of a few years and our various run-ins with eggman i guess i started getting like, more numb about it, and it finally ended when sonic and i had a Big Fight that ended in me running away. i remember most of our friends saw the fight, and even cream was there.
cream and tails were like little siblings to me, and they were the ones i regretted leaving the most.
i somehow ended up working for eggman, and became his partner kind of? some kind of apprentice deal maybe
eggman was a bit more... capable in my canon, though. he stole a lot and actually did a good deal of damage. i was basically a thief, and i was pretty good at it! i started a rivalry with the other teams/eggmans enemies
i liked working for him tbh. i also loved tinkering and working with robots! i worked on some of eggman's designs when he let me. we were kind of good for each other, in different ways.
i think i was eventually on ok terms with sonic and the gang again, but it probably took a while. and im not sure how well it ended up.
id really like to find anyone from this canon, tbh
