grrr writing the topics on wings is so stress inducing as much as I enjoy delving into it.

The story is at its core about xenophobia (and inevitably, eugenics) and as much as I love my beta readers my lovely close friends I share my stories with, they are all white americans that dont really know the lived experience of that like I do, so most of the criticism I rely on is me being self critical and doing research and THATS SCARY.
