it is a massive tragedy that there are so many gorgeous and fun scarf patterns out there that make my fingers itch to cast on and I have a life long hatred of wearing them
#getting into double knitting and did my first proper chart sample and it was actually super fucking fun#so now just scrolling ravelry and going oooo look at how cute that pattern is!!#i would never in a million years wear or have use for it!! 😭#also dont have the yarn for it thats also a big hurdle (whats the best for making scarves anyways??)#instead i will just sit here staring longingly at the patterns and adding them to my favourites#hoping that at some point ill find a reason to make one#theres this one star trek one that actually kicked off my desire to try double knitting that i think i will actually make for my dad#so maybe making one will kick that itch?#hes the only one i know that will actually sometimes wear a scarf 😭#knitting#fiber art#my textposts
