Yeah this take is kinda trash op.

You're holding trans women who boy mode to the same standard as trans men who pass as if those two categories are 100% clockable at all times.

Trans dudes who don't pass likely don't find themselves in this position because they don't pass. But trans men who Do pass can and do. And just because they're not screaming "I'm a trans man!! Let me wield this privilege!!!" Like some kind of virtue signaling freak doesnt mean it isn't happening 💀

whatever one thinks of the rest of this post, it is interesting how many trans women i've known who, while presenting as men, learned to use that misconception as a shield for other people, standing in front of vulnerable people, recording police, etc etc. and it's interesting how many of the trans women those"men" became continued doing so, even though as trans women we are threatened much more than we ever were as men—i don't believe any man, cis or trans, has to worry much about v-coding.

it's interesting how i've known very few trans men who do this. not none. but not many.
