Hyde says he hasn't seen Jin come out of his room for about half a year so. Yeah after The Clash.

But also if he only started holing up in there half a year ago(so around March, but Darkwick school years seem to start in September based on when the ceremony is) that means he became captain and just. Decided to never leave his room???? Did the pressure get to him immediately???? Or did something else happen???

This really changes the flow of a lot of things from my understanding because I figured he'd been captain for a while since Kaito said he was the picture of a charismatic leader before. . .but maybe he was vice captain? Or he was a good leader even without the authority to do so. . .I'll have to find when Kaito mentions Jin being a leader and see what it says in Japanese. . . .

I saw someone in JP fandom pointed this out (the fact that Jin may not be the Frostheim captain last year) and was flabbergasted at how different the wording in the EN translation is.

Honestly it never occurred to me the possibility that Jin may not be the Frostheim captain once (considering his status y'know?), but this changes things...

I wonder if this is a mistake? Since Kaito said until last year, Jin is "the definition of a Charismatic Leader"...
