sometimes i miss what c!sbi could have been in the artic tundra.
how c!tommy could have healed and gotten stronger, how the four of them, given enough time, could have been a force to be reckoned with.
and in the end, it wasn't meant to be, exactly for the same reason they could have been the strongest.
ctechno, cwil and ctommy all were headstrong, and stubborn in their ideals. all three of them forged their way of thinking and very little could move them.
c!wilbur, who compared his very real, very human little country-state to a perfect symphony, one he was willing to destroy once it went awry and rotten. someone who, in his own morbid way, tried to do justice to what he had fought for and built, even at the cost of going mad.
c!tommy, whose loyalty to his loved ones was incomparable, even when wronged by them. a boy turned soldier, vice-president and then martyr for the sake of a country that left him behind. always a fighter when needed, unwilling to falter in front of the enemies, of those that threatened his freedom- but never a fighter by heart, instead a lover. one who loved his family too much, who loved the simple things in life and despised limiting himself to the violence that wrecked the server.
c!techno, whose ideals and opinions had to be the right ones, even when it hurt people. someone who cried betrayal, and then did the same thing around when his goals didn't align with the others perfectly. c!techno who wasn't willing to listen as to why someone like c!tommy who has been hurt by his people, would still choose to believe in their cause and fight alongside them.
three men who could have been the greatest, if the circumstances had been different, and if they had been any more willing to look at the world in its entirety, instead of looking at it through black-and-white lenses.
