re prev reblog/tags funny to revisit my childhood crush on basil of baker street bc i’m reading [obsessed with] the queen’s thief series and whenever i explain to someone how it’s not my usual kind of thing but i’m all in i keep saying that it’s really bringing home that an absolute foolproof recipe for a protagonist is someone whose primary traits are that he is clever, brave, and incredibly annoying to everyone he meets… an opinion i have apparently held literally my entire life
