I have thoughts about the Wilds beta now that I finally had time to hunt!!

So Rey Dau is the best monster so far, cool albeit easy fight, love the lightning effects!!!! Doshaguna and Chatacabra are boring, the wormsy is also cool.

Gameplay is really fun, though I'm not a fan of the wound system or the focus mode - I don't need help to hit my targets. Perfect block is nice as a gs user, figured that out completely by chance xd So far it's smooth and fluid and being able to leap from your Seikret is also chef's kiss.

Now one of my major hangups is the story - boring. And Alma is so. Annoying. In a babysitter kinda way.. ... She ain't no handler or guildmarm and is as charming as an Arzuros behind..... She's just. Too normal!!!! Where's my unhinged biologist handler!!!!! Also why is she annoying me on my hunts????

But I'm definitely getting the game on release and I'm excited to kick more monsters asses!!!!
